How to Solve Block Out Level 552 — Full Solution
- Remove the left red edge piece and the cyan/blue pieces already aligned with the left and bottom exits.
- Split the purple and blue columns, then clear the cyan stair and right-side green strip to open center.
- Keep the staircase vacant while those exits reduce the blue 2-shutter to zero.
- From the middle wave, route the outlined green rectangle across center before taking the yellow squares and cyan blocks.
- Continue red, purple, green, and cyan traffic until the upper green 4-shutter retracts.
- Clear the outlined cyan stair and green hook from the large reveal, then remove the tall purple columns on the left.
- Take the framed purple square and loose yellow blocks while preserving the lower-right turning pocket.
- Align the large yellow-red L with the right opening and send it out after the last small yellow square.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Dropping the large yellow-red L into the staircase before the outlined cyan and purple pieces have crossed center.

Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A staircase field narrows toward the lower right beneath green 4 and blue 2 shutters. The starter combines a red left column, purple/blue columns, cyan stair, green blocks, and yellow squares with exits distributed along both sides and the bottom.
- Goal
- Open the blue shutter, drain the mixed middle wave to open green 4, then clear the outlined cyan, green, purple, and yellow-red shapes without losing the staircase turning pocket.
- Opening
- Take the easy red, cyan, and blue edge pieces, split the purple/blue columns, then remove the cyan stair and right green strip before the blue 2-shutter opens.
- Danger Zone
- The lower-right staircase narrows one cell at a time; parking the cyan stair or yellow-red L there blocks the purple side exit and traps the remaining small pieces.
- Mechanics
- Sequential 2- and 4-count shutters feed outlined pieces into an asymmetric board whose usable width decreases toward the lower-right corner.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which outlined piece should leave first after blue 2 opens?
Route the outlined green rectangle across the wide center before the yellow squares and cyan blocks; do not drop it into the staircase.
Why is the lower-right staircase easy to jam?
It loses width at each step, so large outlined shapes cannot turn if the yellow-red L or a cyan stair is parked there.
