How to Solve Block Out Level 701 — Full Solution
- Move the exposed cyan L through the left cyan exit, keep the yellow L low, and clear enough purple/pink space to preserve the row below the cover.
- Pull the lower-right red 2x3 vertical down through the bottom red gate: the cover changes 4 to 3 and the visible counters change 7 to 6, 6 to 5 and 2 to 1.
- Pull the lower-right yellow-filled, red-outlined 2x2 down through the bottom red gate: the cover changes 3 to 2, counters change 6 to 5, 5 to 4 and 1 to 0, and the zeroed lower-right counter becomes a pink right gate.
- Pull the red 2x2 square down through the bottom red gate: the cover changes 2 to 1 while the remaining visible counters change 5 to 4 and 4 to 3.
- Drop the right-side red horizontal through the bottom red gate: the cover changes 1 to 0, the visible counters change 3 to 2 and 2 to 1, and the upper band retracts.
- Immediately pull the newly revealed tall green vertical in the middle-right down into the open lower-right lane; this is the first post-reveal move.
- Route the revealed cyan and blue pieces toward their left/bottom exits, then remove the revealed yellow L through the left yellow lane.
- Send the long pink bar and purple pieces through their matching right/top exits while aligning the red square with the lower red route.
- Remove the red square, then lift the remaining outlined green pieces through the top green gate one at a time.
- Send the final green piece through the top green gate; the board empties before the Level 701 PERFECT card.

Quick Tips for Block Out Level 701 (quick clues)
- Keep the row below the cover empty whenever a long piece is about to cross the board.
- Reserve the upper green lane for the last outlined green pieces instead of filling it with pink or purple.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A red 4-cover fills the upper half of a narrow U-shaped board. Cyan/yellow L shapes sit left, purple pieces fill the middle, red and green pieces sit right, and a pink horizontal lies below the cover.
- Goal
- Clear the exposed color groups to take the cover from 4 to 0, then unpack the revealed cyan, yellow, purple, red, pink, blue and green pieces without closing their gate lanes.
- Opening
- Move cyan through the left exit, release the lower-left yellow L and route the accessible red pieces right/down while keeping the pink horizontal away from the center row.
- Danger Zone
- The row immediately below the cover is the only dependable cross-board corridor; storing a long pink or purple piece there blocks the reveal follow-up.
- Mechanics
- Four specific bottom exits reduce the cover: red 2x3 vertical, yellow-filled red-outlined 2x2, red 2x2 square, then a right-side red horizontal. The revealed tall green vertical moves down first.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should move first after the cover opens in Block Out Level 701?
Pull the newly revealed tall green vertical in the middle-right down into the open lower-right lane; that is the video's first move after the cover retracts.
Why does the lower pocket become stuck?
A long pink or purple piece has usually been left in the row below the cover, which is the shared corridor for both the last trigger moves and the revealed pieces.
