How to Solve Catdom 2: No Timer Level 17 — Full Solution

  1. Slide the green vertical box within the left pocket into the exposed green cats and allow its four-capacity state to drain.
  2. Use the top yellow vertical box and then the upper-right orange vertical box on their matching groups, leaving the right pocket open.
  3. Move the red horizontal box across the left-middle row into the two red cats so the center crossing is released.
  4. Route the cyan L through the upper-middle/right lane into the cyan cats and keep its shortened elbow beside the right entry.
  5. Send the pink T through the center to the pink row, then use the white L in the lower-right pocket once pink has reduced to 1.
  6. Move the purple vertical box through the opened center column, not across the bottom feed.
  7. Finish with the lower-left blue L, collecting the remaining blue cats while the cyan tray stays clear for the Great completion state.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Starting the blue L while the pink T still occupies the middle and leaves no continuous bottom landing lane.
  • Using the yellow box in the upper-right pocket before the orange box has left that same narrow entry.

Board notes 5 details
Layout
The irregular board has upper-left, upper-right, lower-left, and lower-right pockets. Its boxes are green vertical 4, purple vertical 3, cyan L 3, yellow vertical 2, orange vertical 2, red horizontal 2, pink T 4, white L 3, and blue L 3. Green, red, pink, white, blue, purple, orange, yellow, and cyan cat groups sit around them, with a cyan cat visible in the bottom feed marked 2.
Goal
Thin the top green/yellow/orange routes and cross the red pair first, then use the central opening for cyan and pink. The blue L is the safe lower-left cleanup after the bottom corridor is no longer shared.
Opening
Use the green left-edge box on its green pair, then clear yellow and orange from the upper pockets before sending the red horizontal box across. The cyan L and pink T are moved through the center only after these side lanes are lighter.
Danger Zone
The pink T, white L, and blue L all need the lower corridor. Starting blue while pink still spans the center can split the bottom landing cells; the yellow and orange vertical boxes also share the upper-right pocket.
Mechanics
This level combines four side pockets, a bottom cyan feed, and shaped boxes that drain from 4 or 3 to 1 before disappearing. Sliding direction and footprint determine whether the same-color cats can enter; the source ends with a Great cue.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is the bottom cyan tray important in Level 17?

It is the visible next cyan group and sits below the pink, white, and blue footprints. Keeping it open prevents the late cleanup route from being sealed.

  • When should the blue L move in Catdom 2 Level 17?

Move it after the top colors, red, cyan, pink, white, and purple have reduced the shared center. Its lower-left route is the final safe blue alignment in the recorded run.
