Colony Flow! Level 100 Walkthrough

hard 7 colors

Colony Flow Level 100 is a pineapple portrait board where the yellow body, green crown, magenta base, and brown outline all share one route, so the yellow 12 opener has to clear before the brown 85 outline wave starts.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 100 — Full Solution

  1. Tap the yellow 12 stack in the first cell of the 5-cell active row. Yellow ants walk the dirt path up to the yellow body cells at the bottom edge of the pineapple portrait, and the lowest yellow body cells start clearing in the first beat. Wait for the first yellow ants to clear the bottom edge of the art before tapping the next stack. Do not tap the green 50 or any source row stack yet.
  2. Tap the green 50 stack in the second cell of the active row. Green ants walk the same dirt path and start clearing the bright-green leafy crown across the top. Yellow and green share the path, so leave one beat between them so the yellow body cells are mostly cleared before the green crown starts clearing. Do not tap any source row stack yet.
  3. Tap the cyan 10 stack in the second cell of source row 1 as it rises into the active row, then the red 30 in the third cell, then the yellow 25 in the fourth cell. Cyan ants start clearing the cyan highlight cells, red ants start clearing the red accent cells in the base cluster, and yellow ants continue clearing the yellow body cells. Leave one beat between each wave so the green crown is mostly cleared before the cyan highlights start filling. Do not tap the brown 85 in source row 1 yet.
  4. Tap the green 30 stack in the first cell of source row 2, then the magenta 26 in the second cell, then the light blue 11 in the third cell, then the yellow 29 in the fourth cell, as each one rises into the active row. Green ants clear the green leaf extensions, magenta ants start clearing the magenta base cluster, and light-blue ants clear the edge accent cells. Do not tap any source row 3 stack yet.
  5. Tap the green 35 stack in the first cell of source row 3, then the magenta 33 in the second cell, then the yellow 44 in the third cell, then the light blue 25 in the fourth cell, as each one rises into the active row. Green ants clear the last leaf cells, magenta ants clear the last base cluster cells, and yellow ants clear the last body cells.
  6. Tap the brown 85 stack in the first cell of source row 1 as it rises into the active row. Brown ants clear the brown outline wrapping the entire pineapple silhouette. The late refill waves that rise into the three empty buffer pads finish the last cyan highlights and red accent cells. The pineapple portrait clears once the last matching cube is routed off the board and the level banner appears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Firing the brown 85 stack in source row 1 before the yellow 12 and green 50 active row waves have cleared the bottom and top perimeter of the pineapple portrait, which sends brown ants across the yellow body that yellow still has to clear and stalls them on the remaining outline cells, blocking the late brown refill waves that need to clear the rest of the silhouette.
  • Tapping the magenta 26 stack in source row 2 while green ants are still walking the dirt path up to the green leafy crown, which strands magenta ants on the remaining base cluster cells and blocks the magenta 33 in source row 3 that needs to clear the rest of the magenta base.
  • Letting the red 30 stack in source row 1 rise into the active row before the yellow 12 body wave has at least started clearing the yellow cells at the bottom edge, which strands red ants on the remaining red accent cells and blocks the late red refill waves.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 100 (spoiler-free)

  • Tap the yellow 12 and green 50 in that order from the active row before you touch any source row stack. The yellow body and the green crown are the two highest-traffic color regions on the pineapple portrait, and they have to clear together before the brown 85 in source row 1 or the magenta 26 base refill in source row 2 is allowed onto the dirt path.
  • Treat the active row as the opener queue and the 3-row, 4-column source grid as the supply. The active row has three empty white buffer pads in cells 3, 4, and 5 at the start. Tap the cyan 10, red 30, and yellow 25 in source row 1 only after the two active row waves have cleared, and save the brown 85 in source row 1 column 1 for the last source-row-1 tap.
  • Save the brown 85 stack in source row 1 column 1 for the final source-row tap. The brown outline is the largest color region in the art, and brown ants use the same dirt path as the yellow body ants, so a premature brown 85 click strands brown ants on the remaining outline cells and blocks the late brown refill waves.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
The board opens in portrait view. The top half of the screen holds a pixel-art pineapple-and-leaf portrait inside a beige frame: a bright-green leafy crown across the top, an orange-and-yellow bulbous body in the center, a magenta-and-red base cluster in the lower-left, green leaf extensions on the right side, and yellow-and-green ant creatures crawling around the perimeter toward a black hole at the bottom center. Below the dirt strip the working area is a 5-cell top active row plus a 3-row, 4-column source grid. The 5-cell top active row opens as yellow 12, green 50, empty white buffer pad, empty white buffer pad, empty white buffer pad. Source row 1 reads brown 85, cyan 10, red 30, yellow 25. Source row 2 reads green 30, magenta 26, light blue 11, yellow 29. Source row 3 reads green 35, magenta 33, yellow 44, light blue 25.
Goal
Green cubes from the green 50 in the active row, the green 30 and green 35 in source rows 2 and 3, plus the late green refills must clear the bright-green leafy crown and the green leaf extensions. Yellow cubes from the yellow 12 in the active row, the yellow 25, yellow 29, and yellow 44 in source rows 1 through 3, plus the late yellow refills must clear the orange-and-yellow bulbous body. Cyan cubes from the cyan 10 in source row 1 plus the late cyan refills must clear the cyan highlight cells. Red cubes from the red 30 in source row 1 plus the late red refills must clear the red accent cells in the base cluster. Magenta cubes from the magenta 26 and magenta 33 in source rows 2 and 3 plus the late magenta refills must clear the magenta base cluster. Brown cubes from the brown 85 in source row 1 plus the late brown refills must clear the brown outline. Light-blue cubes from the light blue 11 and light blue 25 in source rows 2 and 3 plus the late light-blue refills must clear the light-blue edge accent cells.
Opening
The board starts with the yellow 12 stack in the first cell of the 5-cell active row. Yellow 12 is the smallest numbered stack in the active row and the yellow body cells at the bottom edge of the art are the first color region the ant trail reaches from the ant hole, so opening with yellow 12 dispatches yellow ants up the dirt path in the first beat and the lowest yellow body cells start clearing immediately. The second confirmed tap is the green 50 stack in the second cell, which sends green ants up the same dirt path and starts clearing the bright-green leafy crown. The three empty white buffer pads in cells 3, 4, and 5 are kept open so the twelve source row stacks can rise into the active row as the two initial stacks are drained.
Danger Zone
The first real trap is the brown 85 stack in the first cell of source row 1. The brown outline wrapping the entire silhouette is the largest color region in the picture, and if the player taps the brown 85 before the yellow 12 and green 50 active row waves have cleared the bottom and top perimeter of the pineapple portrait, brown ants use the same dirt path as the yellow ants that still have to clear the body and they stall on the remaining outline cells, blocking the late brown refill waves. The other trap is firing the magenta 26 stack in source row 2 while green ants are still walking the dirt path up to the green leafy crown, because magenta ants use the same dirt path as the green ants and a premature magenta click strands magenta ants on the remaining base cluster cells.
Mechanics
Level 100 is a multi-stack color-routing board combined with a pixel-art clear goal and a single ant hole, with a pineapple-and-leaf portrait scene. The 5-cell top active row plus the 3-row, 4-column source grid makes this a 14-stack working area with three empty white buffer pads in the active row from the start. The pineapple pixel art has seven main color families (green crown and leaves, yellow-orange body, magenta-red base, brown outline, cyan highlights, red accents, light-blue edge accents) plus the late refill waves. Compared to Level 99's TV-monitor board, this pineapple scene adds a massive brown 85 outline stack in source row 1 that has to wait until the yellow 12 body opener and the green 50 crown wave have both cleared the perimeter.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How should I open Colony Flow Level 100?

Open with the yellow 12 stack in the first cell of the 5-cell active row, then the green 50 stack in the second cell. This dispatches the yellow and green ants up the dirt path in that order and clears the yellow body and the green crown together before the brown 85 in source row 1 or the magenta 26 base refill in source row 2 is allowed onto the dirt path. Tap the cyan 10, red 30, and yellow 25 in source row 1 only after the two active row waves have cleared, and save the brown 85 for the last source-row-1 tap.

  • Why should I hold the brown 85 stack in Colony Flow Level 100?

The brown 85 stack in source row 1 column 1 is the only stack on the board that can clear the large brown outline wrapping the entire pineapple silhouette, and that outline only sits in cells still on the board while the yellow body and green crown are clearing. If brown ants are sent before the yellow 12 and green 50 active row waves have at least started clearing their color regions, they stall on the remaining outline cells, the late brown refill waves waiting in the active queue cannot reach the rest of the silhouette, and the cyan, red, and magenta refill waves that have to rise from source rows 1 through 3 get stranded behind active yellow and green ants on the dirt path.
