Colony Flow! Level 101 Walkthrough

hard 3 colors

Colony Flow Level 101 is a yellow teddy on a green field. Black 39 clears the brown paws first; yellow body stacks and the green 50 field only share the path after those paw cells start emptying.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 101 — Full Solution

  1. Raise black 39 from source row 1 into active cell 1. Black ants walk the dirt path and start the brown paws. Wait until the first black ants clear the bottom edge. Do not raise green 50 yet.
  2. Raise yellow 39 from source row 1 into the next free active cell. Yellow ants start the plush body. Leave one beat after black so the paws stay clear. Still hold green 50.
  3. Raise green 50 from source row 2. Green ants begin the field around the teddy. Leave one beat so yellow body traffic is not still stacked on the hole.
  4. Raise yellow 40 from source row 1, then yellow 29 from source row 2. These two yellow waves finish the head and remaining body cells. One beat between them keeps the path from locking.
  5. Raise the first row-3 green stack into a free buffer. That green wave continues the field while yellow 40 and yellow 29 finish the body.
  6. Raise the second row-3 green stack, then the row-3 yellow body refill, into the last free pads. Greens clear the remaining field; the last yellow clears any remaining body cells. The board clears when the last cube is routed off and the clear banner shows.

Black, Yellow, Green

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Raising green 50 before black 39 has claimed the paws, so green ants sit on remaining field cells and block black traffic.
  • Firing yellow 40 while black ants are still on the dirt path, which parks yellow on remaining body cells and freezes yellow 29.
  • Filling every active pad with yellow before the row-3 green pair rises, so the field never gets a late buffer.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 101 (spoiler-free)

  • Raise black 39 first. The paws sit on the bottom edge and unlock the path for every later color.
  • After black, run yellow 39 body, then green 50 field, then yellow 40 and yellow 29. Do not front-load green.
  • Keep two active pads empty for the row-3 green pair that finishes the field.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Portrait board with a yellow teddy-bear pixel portrait on a bright green field, brown paws along the lower edge, and star sparkles in the background. Working area under the dirt strip is a 5-cell active row over a multi-row source grid. Active row opens empty / empty / empty / empty / empty. Source row 1: yellow 39, black 39, yellow 40. Source row 2: green 50, empty white pad, yellow 29. Source row 3: green, green, yellow body refill.
Goal
Black 39 clears the brown paws and feet. Yellow 39, yellow 40, yellow 29, and the row-3 yellow refill clear the plush body and head. Green 50 plus the two row-3 green stacks clear the green field around the bear.
Opening
The active row is empty, so black 39 from source row 1 is the first rise. Paw cells sit on the bottom edge above the ant hole; black ants claim them on beat one. Yellow 39 follows for the body, then green 50 for the field. Leave the empty active pads free so yellow 40, yellow 29, and the lower greens can climb later.
Danger Zone
Green 50 is the greedy tap. Send it before black 39 has claimed the paws and green ants sit on remaining field cells while black still needs the path. Yellow 40 is the second trap — fire it while black ants are still on the dirt path and yellow blocks the later yellow 29 body refill.
Mechanics
Empty-active multi-stack routing with three color families and a single ant hole. Unlike Level 100's pineapple board, Level 101 starts with no active stacks at all, so the black paw opener has to rise before the large green field wave is legal.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What opens Colony Flow Level 101?

Black 39 from source row 1. The active row is empty, and the brown paws sit on the bottom edge above the ant hole, so black has to rise first before yellow 39 or green 50 is legal.

  • Why hold green 50 on Colony Flow Level 101?

Green 50 is the first large field stack. Sent before black 39 and yellow 39 have started, it floods the single dirt path and leaves the late row-3 green pair and yellow 29 stranded behind green traffic.
