Colony Flow! Level 116 Walkthrough

hard 5 colors

Colony Flow Level 116 is a seated teddy-bear portrait on a green background where green 10 opens the side rail first, then yellow body stacks and the first big black outline wave have to alternate before the pink ear / paw accents and the small white face patch are safe.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 116 — Full Solution

  1. Tap green 10 first from the opener row. Let that short green wave start the left-side background rail and the lower edge near the hole before you commit the larger body stacks.
  2. Send yellow 20 and then yellow 37 so the teddy's belly and lower head begin clearing while the route is still clean. These early yellow waves are the safest way to spread the main body before detail colors appear.
  3. Bring in the large black 58 next and keep alternating the promoted yellow and black stacks that rise behind it. Use black to shape the ear ring, eye / muzzle edge, paw outline, and lower contour while yellow keeps expanding the body. Leave a short beat between taps if the hole is still packed.
  4. Hold the pink detail stacks until the ear ring and the nearest paw outline are already open. Then use pink on the inner ear and paw pad only after the larger yellow / black traffic has clearly moved away from the entrance lane.
  5. Start the white face patch only after the first black outline work is already established. Those small white waves belong to the muzzle / forehead stripe on the right side of the bear and are much safer once the contour is already carved.
  6. Save the later green refills for the long side rails, top border, and the final top-right background pocket. Finish with the last black accent stacks so the right wall, lower outline, and top-right corner close together for the clear.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Sending pink or white while yellow body traffic and the first big black outline wave are still crowding the single hole, which parks detail ants on tiny cells and blocks the late green border cleanup.
  • Spending the midgame green refills too early, leaving no clean wave for the right wall and final top-right background pocket.
  • Using the small black accent stacks before the white muzzle strip has started, which weakens the endgame cleanup and forces the final contour pieces to wait behind detail traffic.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 116 (spoiler-free)

  • Open with green 10 so the side background rail starts before the larger yellow body waves and black outline wave crowd the single hole.
  • Alternate the early yellow body stacks and big black outline stacks instead of releasing pink or white as soon as they appear. Level 116 gets safer once the body and contour already own the route.
  • Keep at least one later green refill for the right wall and top-right background pocket. The board often stalls there if green is spent during the midgame scramble.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
The board opens in portrait view with a seated teddy-bear pixel portrait inside the white frame. The bear is mostly yellow, with black outline and facial details, a pink inner ear and pink paw pad, a white muzzle / forehead patch on the right side of the face, and a bright green background wrapping around the left wall, right wall, and top border. A single dark ant hole sits on the dirt strip centered under the frame. The first clearly visible opener row shows green 10, yellow 20, yellow 37, and black 58 already loaded across the active pads. The shelves underneath immediately feed more white, yellow, pink, green, and black stacks into the same row, so the board quickly becomes a one-hole traffic puzzle with no spare lane for premature detail colors.
Goal
Green stacks have to maintain the side background rails and the late top-right background pocket. Yellow stacks clear most of the teddy's head, belly, and right-side body stripe. Black stacks clear the ear ring, eye, nose, paw outline, lower contour, and the final underside cleanup around the hole. Pink stacks belong to the inner ear and paw-pad accents, while the small white stacks are reserved for the muzzle / forehead patch on the right side of the face. The level clears only when the late green border cleaners and the last black accent squares finish together around the top-right background and lower outline.
Opening
Green 10 is the first confirmed opener. That small wave starts the side background rail and keeps the left wall moving before the larger body colors crowd the entrance. Yellow 20 and yellow 37 follow as the first body waves, spreading across the belly and lower head while the route is still clean. The large black 58 is then allowed onto the same hole to carve the ear ring, facial outline, and lower border. The run keeps alternating early promoted yellow and black stacks before it spends any pink ear / paw detail or the white face patch.
Danger Zone
Pink and white are the board's greed trap. If the pink accent stacks or the small white face stacks are sent while the first yellow body wave and the big black outline wave are still using the only hole, those ants park on tiny ear, paw, and muzzle cells and block the route the late green sidewall cleaners still need. The second trap is dumping midgame green refills too early. Several later green stacks are needed for the long side rails and the final top-right background pocket, so wasting them during heavy yellow / black traffic leaves the board almost solved but still open on the right wall. Small black accent stacks are also much cleaner as finishers than as early taps once the white muzzle strip has started.
Mechanics
Level 116 is a single-hole teddy-bear routing board with alternating background, body, and outline traffic plus delayed detail colors. Unlike Level 106's same-color yellow flood or Level 109's late purple punctuation, this board keeps switching between green border work, yellow body clear, and black contour cleanup while forcing the player to hold the tiny pink and white detail stacks until the shared entrance lane is stable.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What should I tap first in Colony Flow Level 116?

Start with green 10. That opener starts the side background rail and keeps the left wall moving before yellow body stacks and the first big black outline wave begin sharing the same single ant hole.

  • Why do the pink and white stacks fail so often in Colony Flow Level 116?

Pink only belongs to the inner ear and paw pad, and white only belongs to the small muzzle / forehead patch. If either family enters before the yellow body and black outline traffic have opened the route, those ants park on tiny detail cells and block the late green sidewall cleanup that the board still needs to finish.
