How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 262 — Full Solution

  1. Tap blue 25, white 35, white 35 and dark 30 from the opening front row.
  2. When the first ants leave, tap dark 35 and keep the fifth buffer slot free while the long white/dark routes begin to shorten.
  3. Follow the visible staircase: 30/28/35, then 23/28/26/29/32, then 16/22/20/23/26.
  4. Continue through the shorter white/dark rows 10/16/13/16/19 and 3/9/6/9/12, waiting for a bay after every long group.
  5. Take the blue 25 return route only after the staircase has opened the creature body, then let the blue ants reach the eye and lower body.
  6. Tap pink 8 for the hearts when a slot returns, and wait for its short train before adding another blue or dark stack.
  7. Use the remaining blue and white routes around the eye, then route the framed red-brown 20 tile when its matching ants are visibly circulating.
  8. Finish the last white and dark tails around the lower body and upper-left tile, then wait for the blank grid before accepting Victory.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Launching pink 8 before the white/dark count staircase drains can fill the five buffers and hide the next blue route.
  • Treating the framed red-brown 20 tile as an ordinary free stack skips the body timing and leaves the upper-left target uncleared.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 262 (spoiler-free)

  • Treat the white/dark 30/28/35 through 3/9/6/9/12 sequence as one staircase and wait between rows.
  • Keep pink 8 behind the white/dark trains; it is a finishing route for the hearts, not the opener.
  • Reserve a returned bay for the framed red-brown 20 tile after the creature body has thinned.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
White grid with a blue cartoon creature, large cyan eye and two pink hearts. A red-brown framed 20 tile sits at upper left. The opening stacks visibly show blue 25, white 35, white 35, dark 30, dark 35, pink 8, additional white 35 and a lower blue 25 above five empty buffer slots.
Goal
Clear the creature, eye, hearts and upper-left framed 20 tile by matching the blue, cyan, pink, white, dark and red-brown ant routes until the grid is empty.
Opening
Follow the visible front row blue 25, white 35, white 35 and dark 30, then take dark 35 and the revealed white/dark staircase. Let each long row drain before moving to pink 8.
Danger Zone
White 35 and dark 35 lanes can fill the buffer while pink 8 and blue 25 remain tempting below. Starting those short colored routes too early hides the next white/dark row and stalls the upper-left 20 tile.
Mechanics
Long white/dark perimeter trains clear the grid in descending count rows—30/28/35, 23/28/26/29/32, 16/22/20/23/26 and shorter tails—before blue, pink and red-brown details finish the creature.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What order should I use at the start of Level 262?

Use blue 25, white 35, white 35 and dark 30, then dark 35 and the revealed white/dark staircase.

  • When is pink 8 safe?

After the white/dark rows have moved past the 30-class counters and a buffer slot has returned. Pink 8 should clear the hearts after the long routes, not before them.
