How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 278 — Full Solution
- Tap the connected cyan 45, cyan 45 and cyan 45 cards as they enter the top bays.
- Take the exposed cyan 25 and let the first three long streams run down; wait until at least one bay visibly returns.
- Drain the next cyan field groups, including the cyan 25/35/50 routes, while preserving an empty bay for the next reveal.
- Once the sky wave thins, route green 20/40 grass cards and dark-green 20/35 cards in the order they become front cards.
- Use a returned bay for dark 30 and dark-purple 50/20 outline cards; do not stack both long dark routes on top of the remaining cyan wave.
- Clear the white animal body and its dark border, then take orange tail cards around 22/23/30 when their neighboring body cards have reduced.
- Route the red heart and red accent after the central white body is open, waiting through the small red counters instead of assuming completion.
- Finish green grass, white highlights, cyan cloud/sky edges, dark outline and orange tail fragments in the order exposed by the hole.
- Wait for the final cyan, white, dark, red, green and orange cards to leave, then confirm the blank board and victory transition.
Colors in this level:
Cyan, Green, Dark green, Dark purple, White, Orange, Red
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Starting dark-green 20 or dark-purple 50 while all three cyan 45 streams are active keeps the red heart and white body routes covered.
- Treating a nearly empty cyan bay as finished can lead to a full buffer just before the next cyan wave returns.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 278 (spoiler-free)
- Count the cyan 45/45/45 opener as one commitment and follow it with the exposed cyan 25 rather than jumping to dark green.
- Start dark 30 or dark-purple 50 only after a cyan stream returns a bay; keep an empty slot for the next white or orange reveal.
- The red heart is a late short route, not the finish signal; clear the final cyan, white, green, dark and orange tails afterward.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Portrait white cat-like animal under a cyan sky with white clouds, an orange curled tail, a red heart at upper right, dark outline pixels and green grass along the bottom. The opening row is cyan 45, cyan 25, dark green 20, cyan 80 and cyan 70; the next row shows cyan 45, green 40, cyan 25/dark-green 35 and cyan 25; lower cards include cyan 45, pale cyan 11, dark 30, dark-purple 50 and dark 20.
- Goal
- Clear the cyan sky and cloud field, then remove green grass, dark outline, white body, orange tail, red heart and every small finishing fragment until the board is blank.
- Opening
- Tap the three connected cyan 45 cards, then the exposed cyan 25, and wait for the opening sky wave to return a bay before starting dark-green, dark-purple or orange routes.
- Danger Zone
- The connected cyan 45s form one long opening wall. Filling the remaining bays with dark-green 20, dark 30 or dark-purple 50 before a cyan bay returns leaves the heart and white body hidden.
- Mechanics
- Cyan sky, green grass and dark outline cards share one hole; later white body, orange tail and red heart fragments arrive after repeated cyan waves and require explicit waits.
