How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 279 — Full Solution
- Tap cyan 25, cyan 35, yellow 30 and cyan 30 from the visible front row.
- Follow the next cyan/yellow field cards and let the first wave fall before filling the fifth bay.
- Continue through the small cyan/yellow groups that expose dark 30, light cyan 20 and white 14.
- When a bay returns, start brown 40 with the revealed body card; keep dark 32 waiting if the field stream is still active.
- Clear yellow 40/25/44 sky and tail fragments as they become front cards, then move into the red bull head and body route.
- Alternate red and brown body cards with dark-purple outline pieces, allowing the central red/brown group to drain before another long dark card.
- Take the white horn and eye highlights and the curled yellow tail when exposed, preserving a bay for the cyan water card that follows.
- Finish the remaining red, brown, dark, white, yellow and cyan counters from the hole; wait for the blank board and victory transition.
Colors in this level:
Cyan, Yellow, Red, Brown, Dark purple, White
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Starting brown 40 or dark 32 while the initial cyan/yellow field wave is full leaves the red bull body and white horns covered.
- Assuming the bull is complete when the red center clears can miss the late cyan water, white highlight, dark outline and yellow tail fragments.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 279 (spoiler-free)
- Use the front cyan 25 → cyan 35 → yellow 30 → cyan 30 sequence as the field opener; do not skip to brown 40.
- Wait for a returned bay before committing brown 40 or dark 32, because the water stream continues after its visible counter becomes small.
- After the bull is recognizable, keep following the red/brown/dark order and reserve a bay for the final cyan and white details.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Landscape red bull or ox on cyan water, with yellow sky, three red marks overhead, white horns and eye, dark-purple outline, brown body and a curled yellow tail. The front row starts cyan 25, cyan 35, yellow 30 and cyan 30; the next row has dark 30, light cyan 20, white 14 and brown 40; lower cards show yellow 40, pale yellow 25, yellow 44 and dark 32.
- Goal
- Remove the yellow sky and cyan water field, then clear the red head/body, brown underside, dark outline and tail, white horn/eye highlights and the remaining water pixels.
- Opening
- Tap cyan 25, cyan 35, yellow 30 and cyan 30 from the front row, then follow the cyan/yellow field wave while waiting for a bay before starting brown 40 or dark 32.
- Danger Zone
- The sky and water routes occupy all five bays together. Starting red, brown or dark body cards before the field returns can bury the horns and central bull route.
- Mechanics
- A mixed cyan/yellow field clear unlocks red and brown body groups; dark outline, yellow tail, white highlights and cyan water return in alternating late waves.

When is the bull route safe to start?
Use a returned bay after the field wave has thinned, then take brown 40 and the red body route while delaying dark 32 if water cards still occupy the buffers.
