How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 280 — Full Solution

  1. Tap light-green 40, orange/yellow 40, cyan/light-blue 25 and green 50 from the opening front row.
  2. Wait while the long mixed wave drains, then use the first returned bay for light-green 40 or pale cyan 35.
  3. Continue with orange 50 and cyan 40 only as bays return, leaving dark-green 11 and yellow 25 available for the next reveal.
  4. Route the dark/light-green frog body and light-green belly after the field/frame wave reduces; do not launch every green card together.
  5. Take the red/pink 50 flower route when exposed, then clear neighboring cyan and white highlight cards with a free bay reserved for each long stream.
  6. Work yellow/orange frame pieces around the picture, alternating them with returning cyan and green cards instead of filling the buffer with frame colors.
  7. Use dark-green 11 and the other short outline fragments after the frog body is open; these complete the silhouette around the empty center.
  8. Finish the red flower corners, white edge, cyan water and tiny green/yellow/orange frame counters in the order exposed by the hole.
  9. Wait for the final small cards to leave, then confirm the blank framed board and victory transition.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Starting dark-green 11 during the opening mixed wave can consume the return bay needed for the red flower and white highlight routes.
  • Filling all five bays with green, cyan and orange cards leaves the lower red/pink 50 stack covered and delays the finishing sequence.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 280 (spoiler-free)

  • Treat light-green 40 → orange/yellow 40 → cyan 25 → green 50 as one opening wave and wait for its return bay.
  • Leave dark-green 11 available until the first field/frame wave has reduced; save a slot for red/pink 50 and white highlights.
  • Finish the frame and frog tails only in the order exposed by the hole; a blank-looking center is not the victory signal.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Portrait framed frog picture with cyan/light-blue water, light-green belly, dark/light-green body, red flowers in the lower corners, yellow/orange frame pieces and a white edge. The opening row shows dark-green 11, light-green 40, orange/yellow 40, cyan/light-blue 25 and green 50; the next row has light-green 40, pale cyan 35, orange 50, cyan 40 and yellow 25; lower cards include cyan 45, yellow 50, cyan 50, red/pink 50 and yellow/orange 45.
Goal
Clear the water and frame, then remove the frog body, red flowers, white highlights and every yellow/orange, cyan and green finishing fragment until the framed board is blank.
Opening
Tap light-green 40, orange/yellow 40, cyan/light-blue 25 and green 50 in the opening order; wait through the long mixed wave and leave dark-green 11 for the later outline route.
Danger Zone
The opening green, cyan and orange cards remain active for a long time. Filling all five bays hides the red/pink 50 flower and white finishing routes, while dark-green 11 is tempting but premature.
Mechanics
Long field/frame waves alternate with short frog-body and flower fragments; the frog can look complete while the lower red corners and final frame pixels still have live counters.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the correct opener for Level 280?

Tap light-green 40, orange/yellow 40, cyan 25 and green 50, then wait for the long wave to return a bay before continuing.

  • Why should dark-green 11 wait?

It is a short later outline route. Saving it keeps a bay available for the red flower, white highlight and cyan finishing cards revealed after the opening frame wave.
