Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 41 Walkthrough
Colony Flow Level 41 is a grid-panel board where tiny blue, purple, and red opener stacks have to seed a 4x4 target before the heavier red and yellow waves arrive, and the lone empty buffer slot is the only real staging space.
Board Notes
- Layout
- The board opens in portrait view. The top half of the screen holds a pixel-art 4x4 grid panel: each cell is a small yellow center square surrounded by a red border, all set on a purple background, with the green upper-left accent cells in the upper-left corner and two of the four cells in the middle column (row 2, column 2 and row 3, column 2 of the art) showing a 3x3 mini-grid marker inside the yellow center. A single dark round ant hole sits on a dirt strip directly below the pixel art with a small cluster of yellow and red ants already climbing the trail in the very first frame. Below the dirt strip the working area is a 3-column, 4-row source grid plus one empty white buffer slot. Row 1 (the top row of the source grid) opens as blue 6, purple 24, red 30, [empty white]. Row 2 reads blue 35, red 35, red 36. Row 3 reads blue 30, yellow 34, yellow 35. Row 4 reads red 40, blue 32, white 2.
- Goal
- Yellow cubes from the yellow 34 and yellow 35 stacks in row 3 plus the late yellow refills that rise into the active row must fill the 16 yellow center squares of the grid. Red cubes from the red 30 in row 1, the red 35 and red 36 in row 2, the red 40 in row 4, and the late red refills must trace the red border around every cell of the 4x4 grid. Purple cubes from the purple 24 in row 1 plus the late purple refills must fill the purple background that surrounds every cell. Blue cubes from the blue 6 in row 1, the blue 35 in row 2, the blue 30 in row 3, the blue 32 in row 4, and the late blue refills must close the small blue accent dots and the 3x3 mini-grid marker inside the two middle-column cells. White cubes from the white 2 in row 4 plus the late white refills must close the small white highlight cells on the grid.
- Opening
- The video opens on the blue 6 stack at the first cell of the top row of the source grid. Blue 6 is the smallest blue stack on the board and the small blue accent dots are the smallest color region in the art, so opening with blue 6 dispatches one blue ant up the dirt path in the first beat and the blue accent dots closest to the ant hole start closing immediately. The second confirmed tap is the purple 24 stack in the second cell of row 1, which sends a purple ant up the same dirt path and starts filling the purple background of the 4x4 grid. The third confirmed tap is the red 30 stack in the third cell of row 1, which sends a red ant up the dirt path and starts tracing the red border around the upper cells of the grid. The empty white buffer slot in the fourth cell of row 1 is held open so the late refill waves can land there. The blue 35, red 35, red 36, blue 30, yellow 34, yellow 35, red 40, blue 32, and white 2 source stacks in rows 2-4 are all held for one beat so the blue 6 plus purple 24 plus red 30 waves can clear the perimeter of the 4x4 grid first.
- Danger Zone
- This board usually breaks at the empty white buffer slot in the fourth cell of row 1. The contact sheet shows that refill slot being filled with a steady stream of yellow and red refills as the source rows drain, and if the player lets the yellow 34 or yellow 35 stack rise into the active row before the purple 24 wave has at least started the purple background, yellow ants use the same dirt path as purple ants and stall on the still-empty yellow center cells, blocking the late yellow refills that need to close the rest of the 16 centers. The other trap is firing the white 2 stack in row 4 too early, because white ants share the dirt path with every other color and a premature white click strands white ants on the still-empty highlight cells and blocks the late red 40 refill that needs to close the red border on the bottom row of the grid. Tapping the red 40 in row 4 before the red 30 in row 1 has started the border is also bad, because red 40 ants cross the entire grid and stall on the still-empty border cells. Letting the blue 35 in row 2 rise into the active row before the blue 6 plus purple 24 plus red 30 waves have closed the blue accent dots, the purple background, and the upper red border strands blue ants on the still-empty accent cells and blocks the late blue 30 in row 3 and the late blue 32 in row 4 that need to reach the rest of the blue accents.
- Mechanics
- Level 41 is a multi-stack color-routing board combined with a pixel-art completion goal and a single ant hole, with a 4x4 grid panel scene that uses five main color families (yellow cell centers, red cell borders, purple background, blue accent dots and mini-grid markers, white highlight cells) on a 3-column, 4-row source grid plus one empty white buffer slot. The 4-row source grid makes this a tall 13-position working area (12 stacks + 1 empty white), and the empty white slot in the top row is the only staging cell on the board, so the player has to keep that slot open for late refills instead of using it as an active stack space. The 4x4 grid pixel art has 16 yellow center squares, 16 red border cells, a large purple background, plus small blue accent dots and a 3x3 mini-grid marker inside the two middle-column cells, and the player has to keep all of those routes staged at once. The 3-column, 4-row source grid is the active supply that starts with blue 6, purple 24, and red 30 in row 1 plus the rest below, and the empty white slot at the right end of row 1 is the only refill slot on the board, so the very last yellow refill, the last red refill, the last blue refill, the last purple refill, and the last white refill still need a clean delivery after the bottom of the source grid looks clear. Compared to Level 40's butterfly scene, the 4x4 grid is shorter on the source grid but has 16 yellow cells that each need a clean yellow ant delivery, which forces a strict top-row-first drain order on the source rows.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 41 (spoiler-free)
- Tap the blue 6, purple 24, and red 30 in that order from row 1 before you touch any other color. The small blue accent dots, the purple background, and the upper red border are the three features of the 4x4 grid that the first wave has to close together, and the empty white buffer slot in the fourth cell of row 1 is the only staging cell on the board so the late refill waves need it to stay open.
- Walk the source rows in a strict left-to-right path: drain the blue 35, red 35, and red 36 from row 2 in that order, then the blue 30, yellow 34, and yellow 35 from row 3, then the red 40, blue 32, and white 2 from row 4. The 16 yellow cell centers in the 4x4 grid only close cleanly when the two yellow stacks in row 3 are sent in order and the late yellow refills get the empty white slot.
- Save the blue 35 in row 2, the blue 30 in row 3, the blue 32 in row 4, and the late blue refills for the blue mini-grid markers in the two middle-column cells. Blue ants use the same dirt path as red, purple, yellow, and white ants, so a premature blue click strands blue ants on the still-empty accent dots and blocks the mini-grid markers that only the later blue refills can close.
How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 41 — Full Solution
- Tap the blue 6 stack at the first cell of the top row of the source grid. Blue ants walk the dirt path up to the small blue accent dots in the 4x4 grid, and the accent dots closest to the ant hole start closing in the first beat. Wait for the first blue ants to clear the bottom edge of the art before tapping the next stack. Keep the empty white buffer slot in the fourth cell of row 1 untouched so the late refill waves can land there.
- Tap the purple 24 stack in the second cell of row 1. Purple ants walk the same dirt path and start filling the purple background that surrounds the 4x4 grid. Blue and purple share the path, so leave one beat between them so the blue accent dots are mostly closed before the purple background cells start filling. Do not tap the red 30, blue 35, red 35, red 36, blue 30, yellow 34, yellow 35, red 40, blue 32, or white 2 stacks yet.
- Tap the red 30 stack in the third cell of row 1. Red ants walk the dirt path and start tracing the red border around the upper cells of the 4x4 grid. Blue, purple, and red share the path, so leave one beat between the red wave and the next blue or purple refill. Wait for the red ants to clear the dirt path before tapping any row 2 stack.
- Wait for the blue 6 plus purple 24 plus red 30 ant waves to clear the dirt path between the ant hole and the bottom edge of the 4x4 grid. Let the blue 35 stack in row 2 first cell rise into the active row. Tap the blue 35 first so a blue ant walks the dirt path and starts closing the second set of blue accent dots. Then tap the red 35 right next to it, then the red 36 at the end of the row. Blue, red, and red share the path, so leave one beat between each wave. Do not tap the blue 30, yellow 34, yellow 35, red 40, blue 32, or white 2 in rows 3-4 yet, and do not let the late yellow or white refills rise into the active row during this beat.
- Tap the blue 30 stack in row 3, first cell, then the yellow 34 stack in the middle cell, then the yellow 35 stack in the third cell, as they rise into the active row. Blue ants start closing the third set of blue accent dots and the 3x3 mini-grid markers in the middle-column cells, and yellow ants start filling the 16 yellow center squares. Blue, yellow, and yellow share the path, so leave one beat between each wave. Do not tap the red 40, blue 32, or white 2 in row 4 yet.
- Tap the red 40 stack in row 4, first cell, then the blue 32 stack in the middle cell, then the white 2 stack in the third cell, as they rise into the active row. Red ants start tracing the red border along the bottom row of the grid, blue ants close the last blue accent dots, and white ants fill the small white highlight cells. Red, blue, and white share the path, so leave one beat between each wave.
- Finish by tapping the late yellow, red, blue, purple, and white refills that rise into the empty white buffer slot in the fourth cell of row 1. Yellow ants close the last 1-2 yellow center cells, red ants close the last red border cells, blue ants close the last blue accent dots, purple ants close the last background cells, and white ants close the last highlight cells. The 4x4 grid silhouette is complete once the last matching cube lands and the level banner appears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Firing the yellow 34 or yellow 35 stack in row 3 before the purple 24 wave has at least started the purple background, which strands yellow ants on the still-empty yellow center cells and blocks the late yellow refills that need to close the rest of the 16 centers.
- Tapping the white 2 stack in row 4 too early, which strands white ants on the still-empty highlight cells and blocks the late red 40 refill that needs to close the red border on the bottom row of the grid.
- Letting the blue 35 in row 2 rise into the active row before the blue 6 plus purple 24 plus red 30 waves have closed the blue accent dots, the purple background, and the upper red border, which strands blue ants on the still-empty accent cells and blocks the late blue 30 in row 3 and the late blue 32 in row 4 that need to reach the rest of the blue accents.
Frequently Asked Questions
What opening order works best in Colony Flow Level 41?
Begin with the blue 6 stack at the first cell of the top row of the source grid, then the purple 24 stack in the second cell of row 1, then the red 30 stack in the third cell of row 1. This dispatches the blue, purple, and red ants up the dirt path in that order and starts closing the small blue accent dots, the purple background, and the upper red border together before any row 2-4 stack or late refill wave is allowed onto the dirt path. Tap the blue 35, red 35, red 36, blue 30, yellow 34, yellow 35, red 40, blue 32, and white 2 source stacks in a strict left-to-right path, and only then let the late yellow, red, blue, purple, and white refills land in the empty white buffer slot in the fourth cell of row 1.
Why should I hold the yellow 34 or yellow 35 stack in Colony Flow Level 41?
The yellow 34 and yellow 35 stacks in row 3 are the only stacks in the source grid that can fill the 16 yellow center squares of the 4x4 grid, and yellow ants use the same dirt path as the blue, purple, red, and white ants from row 1 plus the row 2 ants. If yellow ants are sent before the purple 24 wave has at least started the purple background, they stall on the still-empty yellow center cells, the late yellow refills that have to rise into the empty white buffer slot in the fourth cell of row 1 get stranded behind active purple ants on the dirt path, and the 16 yellow centers never close. Hold the yellow 34 and yellow 35 until the purple 24 wave has at least started the purple background and the red 30 wave has at least started the upper red border.
