How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 422 — Full Solution
- Tap purple 7, purple 6 and purple 9 in order, using the white empty slot as the temporary buffer.
- Tap yellow 27, then green 8 after the purple returns; let the side counters fall before taking a 35-plus card.
- Route dark purple 35, dark purple 36 and purple 34 from shorter release to longer release, keeping one slot free for the center gate.
- Use green 3 and red 10 as the short bridge, then route yellow 32 and white 18 while the side gates settle at 24.
- Feed yellow 37/40 and white 40 only when the matching ants have returned; do not refill all five slots during the central transition.
- Clear the late purple 1/2/3/5/37 group while yellow 27 and white 18 expose the face and green shirt.
- Use yellow 6/12/23/27 and the red 1/10 releases, then finish dark purple 33/35/40 around the separated wings and torso.
- Wait for the last yellow, white and dark ants to remove the final face pixels and confirm the empty-board clear animation.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Starting dark-purple 35/36 before the purple 7/6/9 opener consumes the holes needed by the short gate bridge.
- Treating the side-gate value of 24 as a board clear leaves the central release and the wing fragments unfinished.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 422 (spoiler-free)
- Clear purple 7/6/9 before spending a hole on the long dark-purple stacks.
- Use green 3 and red 10 as short bridges while the center gate continues after the side gates reach 24.
- Do not fill all five slots with yellow 40, dark purple 35/36 and white 40 at once.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A yellow-haired winged character with dark-purple wings, a pale face, white shirt and green lower body. Brown side gates show 175 each and the central gate shows 418. The opening queue has a white empty slot, purple 7/6/9, yellow 27, green 8, dark purple 35/36, purple 34, green 3, yellow 40/32 and white 18.
- Goal
- Drain both side gates and the central gate, route purple, yellow, green, dark-purple and white cubes to matching holes, and peel the wings, hair, face and green shirt until the board is empty.
- Opening
- Use the white empty slot, tap purple 7, purple 6, purple 9, yellow 27 and green 8, and wait for the first purple and green perimeter traffic before taking dark purple 35/36.
- Danger Zone
- Dark purple 35/36, yellow 40 and white 40 compete for the same limited space while the side gates are still releasing. Keep one white slot free, especially when both side counters reach 24.
- Mechanics
- A three-counter gate board with twin side releases, a central 418-to-low-double-digits release, limited-buffer routing and a late wing-to-face pixel-art peel.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why keep a white slot open on Level 422?
The white lane is the staging space for the short green, red and yellow releases while the two side gates and the 418 center gate run at different speeds.
What should I do when both side gates read 24?
Wait for their ants to return, then use the short red/green bridge and continue the central gate; the purple wings still have active routes.
