How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 428 — Full Solution

  1. Start green 70, then tap the first green 45 and green 40 as the opening holes return.
  2. Wait for one green stream to come back before adding another green 45.
  3. Use green 50 and the next green 45 to strip the outer vines and first dark-purple frame edge.
  4. Add pale-white 59 only when a hole is free, then alternate it with brick-red 46 rather than starting both long cards together.
  5. Keep the cyan lock available while routing dark-purple 40 and dark-purple 50; take the lock after its cyan path is exposed.
  6. As the visible counts fall through the 50s and 30s, clear the inner green frame before another 46- or 50-count card.
  7. Use short green 14/7 and returning pale-white and brick-red cards to open the cream sails and dark deck.
  8. Clear the red-brown hull and detached green frame pieces, retaining a hole for the last lock-colored card.
  9. Finish with the remaining green vines, dark-purple border, hull pixels and small sail fragments.
  10. Wait for the board to empty and confirm the Colony Flow clear animation.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Starting pale-white 59, brick-red 46 and dark-purple 50 during the green 70 opener fills the buffer before the boat phase opens.
  • Spending the only free hole on a long green card while the cyan lock is exposed strands the final frame fragments.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 428 (spoiler-free)

  • Green 70 is the actual opener; let it return before another long reserve card.
  • Keep pale-white 59 and brick-red 46 out of the first green wave.
  • Save short green 14/7 cards for the frame and hull fragments.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
A brick-red sailboat with two cream sails, dark deck and colored flags sits inside nested green and dark-purple frames. The opening reserve shows green 50, pale-white 59, brick-red 46 and green 70, followed by pale-white 45, green 40, green 45, green 45, cyan lock, dark-purple 40 and dark-purple 50.
Goal
Remove the outer green vines, inner dark-purple frame, cream sails, brick-red hull and final scattered green and brown fragments.
Opening
Tap green 70 first, then the visible green 45 and green 40 as holes return. Wait for the green wave before taking pale-white 59 or brick-red 46.
Danger Zone
Green 70/45/40 can fill the five-hole buffer while the pale sails and cyan lock remain covered. Opening pale-white 59, brick-red 46 and dark-purple 50 together strands the hull phase.
Mechanics
No large numeric gate is printed. The board advances through nested green vines, dark-purple border, boat sails and red-brown hull, with a cyan lock and short green cards controlling the late scattered fragments.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is there no large gate number on Level 428?

This board uses nested picture phases instead of a printed counter: green vines, purple frame, sails, hull and then scattered fragments.

  • When should the cyan lock be used?

Wait until the matching cyan path is visible and one hole has returned; using it during the 70/45/40 green wave blocks the sailboat finish.
