Colony Flow! Level 56 Walkthrough

medium 6 colors

Colony Flow Level 56 is a green-frog-on-cyan-pond board where the pond, white eyes, green head, black outline, and blue cheek flowers all share one ant hole, and the tiny cyan 7 opener has to start the pond before the heavy black 30 outline wave fires from cell 2.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 56 — Full Solution

  1. Tap the cyan 7 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row. Cyan ants walk the dirt path up to the cyan grid pond behind the frog, and the pond cells closest to the ant hole start clearing in the first beat. Wait for the first cyan ant to clear the dirt path before tapping the next stack. Do not tap the black 30, white 25, green 32, or any source row stack yet.
  2. Tap the white 25 stack in the third cell of the active row. White ants walk the same dirt path and start clearing the two large white eyes and the white belly band across the lower face. Cyan and white share the path, so leave one beat between them. Do not tap the green 32, black 30, or any source row stack yet.
  3. Tap the green 32 stack in the fourth cell of the active row. Green ants start clearing the bright green frog head and body. White and green share the path, so leave one beat between the white wave and the green wave. Do not tap the black 30 or any source row stack yet.
  4. Tap the black 30 stack in the second cell of the active row. Black ants clear the black eye pupils and the black mouth line wrapping the frog face. Green and black share the path, so leave one beat between the green wave and the black wave so the white belly is at least half-cleared before the pupils start clearing. Do not tap any source row stack yet.
  5. Tap the cyan 30 stack in the first cell of source row 1 as it rises into the active row, then the white 30 in the second cell, then the black 30 in the third cell. Cyan ants clear the last pond cells, white ants clear the last eye cells, and black ants clear the last pupil and mouth cells. Leave one beat between each wave.
  6. Tap the yellow 30 stack in the first cell of source row 2 as it rises into the active row, then the blue 30 in the second cell as it rises into the empty white buffer pad in the fifth cell of the active row. Yellow ants clear the small yellow accent cells, and blue ants clear the two blue cheek flowers. Leave one beat between each wave.
  7. Finish with any late small green, white, cyan, and blue cleanup refills that rise into the empty white buffer pad. The board clears once the last matching cube is routed off and the level banner appears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Firing the black 30 stack in the second cell of the active row before the cyan 7 and white 25 waves have at least started clearing the pond and the white belly band, which sends black ants across the white eyes that white still has to clear and stalls them on the remaining pupil cells.
  • Tapping the yellow 30 stack in source row 2 column 1 while green ants are still walking the dirt path up to the green frog head, which strands yellow ants on the remaining accent cells behind active green ants and blocks the blue 30 cheek-flower wave.
  • Letting the black 30 from source row 1 rise into the active row before the black 30 active-row wave has cleared the mouth line, which strands the source black refill on remaining outline cells and blocks the late white cleanup refills.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 56 (spoiler-free)

  • Tap the cyan 7, white 25, green 32, and black 30 in that order from the active row before you touch any source row stack. The cyan pond and the white belly band are the two highest-traffic regions on the frog face, and they have to start clearing together before the black 30 outline wave is allowed to clear the pupils.
  • Walk source row 1 in left-to-right order after the active row drains. Tap the cyan 30, white 30, and black 30 only after the green 32 wave has cleared, then tap the yellow 30 and blue 30 in source row 2 only after the white 30 source wave has cleared.
  • Save the empty white buffer pad in the fifth cell of the active row for the yellow 30 and blue 30 refills from source row 2 plus the late small green and cyan cleanup refills. Filling it with a premature source click strands the cheek-flower cleanup waves.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
The board opens in portrait view. The top half holds a pixel-art green frog face on a cyan grid pond: two large white eyes with black pupils, a white belly band across the lower face, small blue flower accents on both cheeks, and a black mouth line. Green text TOP GAMMER sits along the left edge of the art. Below the dirt strip the working area is a 5-cell top active row plus a 2-row source grid. The 5-cell active row opens as cyan 7, black 30, white 25, green 32, empty white buffer pad. Source row 1 reads cyan 30, white 30, black 30. Source row 2 reads yellow 30, blue 30.
Goal
Green cubes from the green 32 active stack and the late green refill waves must clear the bright green frog head and body. White cubes from the white 25 active stack, the white 30 in source row 1, and the late white refill waves must clear the two large white eyes and the white belly band. Cyan cubes from the cyan 7 active stack, the cyan 30 in source row 1, and the late cyan refill waves must flood the cyan grid pond behind the frog. Black cubes from the black 30 active stack, the black 30 in source row 1, and the late black refill waves must clear the black eye pupils and the black mouth line. Yellow cubes from the yellow 30 in source row 2 and the late yellow refill waves must clear the small yellow accent cells around the frog. Blue cubes from the blue 30 in source row 2 and the late blue refill waves must clear the two small blue flower accents on the frog cheeks.
Opening
The run opens with the cyan 7 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row. Cyan 7 is the smallest numbered stack on the board and the cyan pond cells behind the frog are the first region the ant trail reaches from the ant hole. The second confirmed tap is the white 25 stack in the third cell to start the white eyes and belly band. The third tap is the green 32 stack in the fourth cell to start the green head. The fourth tap is the black 30 stack in the second cell to clear the black pupils and mouth line after the white belly has at least started clearing. The cyan 30, white 30, black 30, yellow 30, and blue 30 source stacks are all held for one beat.
Danger Zone
Most failed runs start at the black 30 stack in the second cell of the 5-cell active row. If the player fires the black 30 before the cyan 7 and white 25 waves have at least started clearing the pond and the white belly band, black ants cross the white eyes that white still has to clear and stall on the remaining pupil cells. Tapping the yellow 30 in source row 2 column 1 while green ants are still walking up to the green frog head is also bad, because yellow ants share the path with green ants and a premature yellow click strands yellow ants on the remaining accent cells behind active green ants.
Mechanics
Level 56 is a multi-stack color-routing board combined with a pixel-art clear goal and a single ant hole, with a green-frog-on-cyan-pond scene. The 5-cell top active row plus the 2-row source grid makes this a compact 11-stack working area with exactly one empty white buffer pad. The frog pixel art has five main color families (green head, white eyes and belly, cyan pond, black pupils and mouth, blue cheek flowers) plus yellow accent cells and late refill waves.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the safest first move in Colony Flow Level 56?

The safest opener is the cyan 7 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row, then the white 25 in the third cell, then the green 32 in the fourth cell, then the black 30 in the second cell. This dispatches cyan, white, green, and black ants up the dirt path in that order and starts clearing the pond, the eyes, the head, and the outline together before the cyan 30, white 30, yellow 30, or blue 30 source waves are allowed to rise.

  • Why does the black 30 active stack jam the frog route in Colony Flow Level 56?

The black 30 in the second cell of the active row is the largest black wave on the board, and the black eye pupils only clear cleanly while the cyan 7 and white 25 waves are still clearing the pond and the belly band. If black ants are sent before those two waves have at least started their color regions, they stall on remaining pupil cells and block the green 32 head wave plus every later white and cyan refill that has to rise through the same dirt path.
