Colony Flow! Level 55 Walkthrough

medium 8 colors

Colony Flow Level 55 is a strawberry-cake board where the yellow rays, black outline, pink frosting, white cream, and brown base all share one ant hole, and the tiny yellow 5 and black 7 openers have to clear the top of the cake before the pink 29 frosting wave starts.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 55 — Full Solution

  1. Tap the yellow 5 stack in the second cell of the 5-cell active row. Yellow ants walk the dirt path up to the yellow pixel rays behind the strawberry, and the ray cells start clearing in the first beat. Wait for the first yellow ant to clear the dirt path before tapping the next stack. Do not tap the pink 29, white 27, brown 30, black 7, or any source row stack yet.
  2. Tap the black 7 stack in the fifth cell of the active row. Black ants walk the dirt path and start tracing the black outline around the cake silhouette. Yellow and black share the path, so leave one beat between them. Do not tap the pink 29, white 27, brown 30, or any source row stack yet.
  3. Tap the pink 29 stack in the first cell of the active row. Pink ants walk the dirt path and start clearing the pink frosting layers and the pink icing drips on the right side. Black and pink share the path, so leave one beat between the black wave and the pink wave. Do not tap the white 27, brown 30, or any source row stack yet.
  4. Tap the white 27 stack in the third cell of the active row. White ants walk the dirt path and start clearing the white whipped-cream cells on top of the cake. Pink and white share the path, so leave one beat between the pink wave and the white wave. Do not tap the brown 30 or any source row stack yet.
  5. Tap the brown 30 stack in the fourth cell of the active row. Brown ants walk the dirt path and start clearing the brown cake base and the wooden plate. White and brown share the path, so leave one beat between the white wave and the brown wave. Do not tap any source row stack yet.
  6. Tap the blue 30 stack in the first cell of source row 1, then the yellow 33 in the second cell, then the brown 30 in the third cell, then the yellow 44 in the fourth cell, as each one rises into the active row. Blue ants clear the blue shadow accents, yellow ants clear the last ray cells, and brown ants clear the last base cells. Leave one beat between each wave.
  7. Tap the orange 40 stack in the first cell of source row 2, then the white 2 in the second cell, then the blue 30 in the third cell. Tap the orange 40, pink 35, and blue 30 in source row 3, then the pink 30, blue 30, pink 30, and orange 30 in source row 4, as each one rises into the active row. Orange ants clear the plate rim, pink ants clear the last frosting cells, and white ants clear the last cream cells.
  8. Finish with the late red strawberry refills and any small pink, white, yellow, and blue cleanup refills. Red ants clear the large red strawberry and its green leaf topper. The board clears once the last matching cube is routed off and the level banner appears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Firing the pink 29 stack in the first cell of the active row before the yellow 5 and black 7 waves have started clearing the yellow rays and the black outline, which sends pink ants across the top of the cake that yellow and black still have to clear and stalls them on the remaining frosting cells.
  • Tapping the brown 30 stack in the fourth cell of the active row before the white 27 wave has at least started clearing the white whipped-cream cells, which strands brown ants on the remaining base cells while white ants queue behind them on the same dirt path.
  • Letting the orange 40 stack in source row 2 column 1 rise into the active row while pink ants are still walking the dirt path up to the pink frosting layers, which strands orange ants on the remaining plate-rim cells and blocks the late orange 30 cleanup wave from source row 4.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 55 (spoiler-free)

  • Tap the yellow 5 and black 7 before the pink 29 even though pink 29 sits in cell 1. The yellow rays and black outline are the two smallest regions on the cake, and they have to clear before the large pink 29 frosting wave is allowed onto the dirt path.
  • Drain the white 27 in cell 3 before the brown 30 in cell 4. The white whipped cream sits above the brown base, and sending brown first strands brown ants on the remaining base cells while white ants queue behind them.
  • Walk the 4-row source grid in row order after the active row is drained. Tap the blue 30 and yellow 33 in source row 1 only after the yellow 5 wave has cleared, the orange 40 stacks in rows 2 and 3 only after the pink 29 wave has cleared, and the pink 30 stacks in row 4 only after the white 27 wave has cleared.

Layout
The board opens in portrait view. The top half holds a pixel-art cake slice on a wooden plate: a brown rectangular cake base, pink and white frosting layers, a large red strawberry with green leaf on top, yellow pixel rays behind the strawberry, and pink icing drips on the right side. Green text TOP GAMMER sits along the left edge of the art. Below the dirt strip the working area is a 5-cell top active row plus a 4-row source grid. The 5-cell active row opens as pink 29, yellow 5, white 27, brown 30, black 7. Source row 1 reads blue 30, yellow 33, brown 30, yellow 44. Source row 2 reads orange 40, white 2, blue 30. Source row 3 reads orange 40, pink 35, blue 30. Source row 4 reads pink 30, blue 30, pink 30, orange 30.
Goal
Brown cubes from the brown 30 active stack, the brown 30 in source row 1, and the late brown refill waves must clear the brown cake base and the wooden plate. Pink cubes from the pink 29 active stack, the pink 35 in source row 3, the pink 30 stacks in source row 4, and the late pink refill waves must clear the pink frosting layers and the pink icing drips. White cubes from the white 27 active stack, the white 2 in source row 2, and the late white refill waves must clear the white whipped-cream cells. Yellow cubes from the yellow 5 active stack, the yellow 33 and yellow 44 in source row 1, and the late yellow refill waves must clear the yellow pixel rays behind the strawberry. Red cubes from the late red refill waves must clear the large red strawberry and its green leaf topper. Blue cubes from the blue 30 source stacks must clear the blue shadow accents. Orange cubes from the orange 40 and orange 30 source stacks must clear the orange plate rim. Black cubes from the black 7 active stack must clear the small black outline cells.
Opening
The run opens with the yellow 5 stack in the second cell of the 5-cell active row even though pink 29 sits in cell 1. Yellow 5 is the smallest numbered stack and the yellow pixel rays are the smallest color region at the top of the art. The second confirmed tap is the black 7 in the fifth cell to start the black outline. The third tap is the pink 29 in the first cell to start the pink frosting. The fourth tap is the white 27 in the third cell to start the white whipped cream. The brown 30 in the fourth cell and every source row stack are held for one beat.
Danger Zone
Most failed runs start at the brown 30 stack in the fourth cell of the active row. If the player fires the brown 30 before the yellow 5, black 7, pink 29, and white 27 waves have started clearing the top of the cake, brown ants cross the pink frosting that pink still has to clear and stall on the remaining base cells. Tapping the orange 40 in source row 2 column 1 while pink ants are still walking up to the pink frosting layers is also bad, because orange ants strand behind active pink ants on the remaining plate-rim cells.
Mechanics
Level 55 is a multi-stack color-routing board combined with a pixel-art clear goal and a single ant hole, with a strawberry-cake-on-wooden-plate scene. The 5-cell active row is fully occupied at the start with no empty white buffer pad, so the only way to free a slot for a rising refill is to drain an active row cell. The cake pixel art has eight main color families (brown base, pink frosting, white cream, yellow rays, red strawberry, blue shadow, orange plate rim, black outline) plus late refill waves.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the correct active-row order for Colony Flow Level 55?

The video order is yellow 5 in cell 2, black 7 in cell 5, pink 29 in cell 1, white 27 in cell 3, then brown 30 in cell 4. This clears the yellow rays and black outline before the large pink frosting wave, clears the white cream before the brown base, and only then allows the blue 30, yellow 33, and orange 40 source waves to rise.

  • Why does the brown 30 active stack clog the cake route in Colony Flow Level 55?

The brown 30 in the fourth cell of the active row is the largest brown wave on the board, and the brown cake base only sits below the white cream and pink frosting regions that still have to clear first. If brown ants are sent before the yellow 5, black 7, pink 29, and white 27 waves have started the top of the cake, they stall on remaining base cells and block every later brown, blue, and orange refill that has to rise through the same dirt path.
