Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 83 Walkthrough
Colony Flow Level 83 is a yellow Top Gamer cat board where the yellow fur, black stripes, green torso, and green chest blocks all share one trail, so the yellow 30 head opener has to clear before the green 28 chest accent in source row 2 is touched.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 83 — Full Solution
- Tap the yellow 30 stack in the first cell of the 5-cell active row. Yellow ants walk the dirt path up to the yellow head of the Top Gamer cat, and the yellow head cells closest to the ant hole start clearing in the first beat. Wait for the first yellow ants to clear the bottom edge of the art before tapping the next stack. Do not tap the black 29 or any source row stack yet.
- Tap the black 29 stack in the second cell of the active row. Black ants walk the same dirt path and start tracing the black ear tufts and stripe accents on the torso. Yellow and black share the path, so leave one beat between them so the yellow head is mostly cleared before the black accents start clearing. Do not tap any source row stack yet.
- Wait for both active row yellow and black waves to clear the dirt path between the ant hole and the bottom edge of the Top Gamer cat portrait. Do not tap the yellow 25, green 25, or yellow 10 source stacks yet, and do not let any source row refill rise into the active row during this beat.
- Tap the yellow 25 stack in the first cell of source row 1 as it rises into the active row, then the yellow 25 in the second cell, then the yellow 25 in the third cell. Yellow ants clear the yellow body and arm highlights on the portrait. Leave one beat between each yellow wave so the black accents are mostly cleared before the yellow body starts clearing. Do not tap any source row 2 or 3 stack yet.
- Tap the green 25 stack in the first cell of source row 2, then the yellow 30 in the second cell, then the green 28 in the third cell, as each one rises into the active row. Green ants clear the green torso and the two small green chest blocks on the platform, and yellow ants clear the last yellow highlight cells. Green and yellow share the dirt path, so leave one beat between each wave. Do not tap any source row 3 stack yet.
- Tap the yellow 25 stack in the first cell of source row 3, then the yellow 25 in the second cell, then the yellow 10 in the third cell, as each one rises into the active row. Yellow ants clear the last yellow fur cells, and the late refill waves that rise into the empty white buffer pads finish the brown platform, the white eyes, and the last black stripe accents. The Top Gamer cat silhouette clears once the last matching cube is routed off and the level banner appears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Firing the green 28 stack in source row 2 column 3 before the yellow 30 and black 29 active row waves have cleared the dirt path up to the yellow head, which sends green ants across the yellow fur that yellow still has to fill and stalls them on the remaining chest-block cells, blocking the green 25 in source row 2 column 1 that needs to clear the rest of the green torso.
- Tapping the three yellow 25 stacks in source row 1 while black ants are still walking the dirt path up to the black ear tufts, which strands yellow ants on the remaining body cells and blocks the yellow 30 in source row 2 that needs to clear the green torso highlights.
- Letting the yellow 10 in source row 3 rise into the active row before the green 25 in source row 2 column 1 has at least started clearing the green torso, which strands the smallest yellow cleanup wave on remaining fur cells.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 83 (spoiler-free)
- Tap the yellow 30 and black 29 in that order from the active row before you touch any source row stack. The yellow head and the black ear tufts are the two highest-traffic color regions on the Top Gamer cat, and they have to clear together before the three yellow 25 stacks in source row 1 or the green 28 in source row 2 is allowed onto the dirt path.
- Treat the active row as the opener queue and the 3-row, 3-column source grid as the supply. The active row has three empty white buffer pads in cells 3 through 5 at the start, so rising refills can land as soon as the yellow 30 and black 29 drain. Tap the three yellow 25s in source row 1 only after the two active row waves have cleared, the green 25, yellow 30, and green 28 in source row 2 only after source row 1 has cleared, and the two yellow 25s plus yellow 10 in source row 3 only after source row 2 has cleared.
- Save the green 28 in source row 2 column 3 for after the green 25 in column 1 has started clearing the torso. The two green chest blocks are the smallest green accent region in the art, and a premature green 28 click strands green ants on the remaining chest cells and blocks the late green refill waves.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- The board opens in portrait view. The top half of the screen holds a pixel-art yellow Top Gamer cat portrait: a yellow head with black ear tufts, large white eyes with black pupils, a green torso with black stripes, short yellow arms, a brown pixel platform under the feet, and two small green chest blocks flanking the platform. Below the dirt strip the working area is a 5-cell top active row plus a 3-row, 3-column source grid. The 5-cell top active row opens as yellow 30, black 29, empty white buffer pad, empty white buffer pad, empty white buffer pad. Source row 1 reads yellow 25, yellow 25, yellow 25. Source row 2 reads green 25, yellow 30, green 28. Source row 3 reads yellow 25, yellow 25, yellow 10.
- Goal
- Yellow cubes from the yellow 30 in the active row, the yellow 25 stacks in source rows 1 and 3, the yellow 30 in source row 2, the yellow 10 in source row 3, and the late yellow refills must clear the yellow head, arms, and body highlights. Black cubes from the black 29 in the active row plus the late black refills must clear the black ear tufts, the black stripe accents on the torso, and the black mouth line. Green cubes from the green 25 and green 28 in source row 2 plus the late green refills must clear the green torso and the two small green chest blocks on the platform. Brown cubes from the late brown refills must clear the brown pixel platform under the cat's feet. White cubes from the late white refills that rise into the empty buffer pads must clear the large white eyes and the white highlight cells on the face.
- Opening
- The board starts with the yellow 30 stack in the first cell of the 5-cell active row. Yellow 30 is the largest opener in the active row and the yellow head is the first color region the ant trail reaches from the ant hole, so opening with yellow 30 dispatches yellow ants up the dirt path in the first beat and the yellow head cells closest to the ant hole start clearing immediately. The second confirmed tap is the black 29 stack in the second cell of the active row, which sends black ants up the same dirt path and starts tracing the black ear tufts and stripe accents. The three empty white buffer pads in cells 3, 4, and 5 of the active row are kept open so the nine source grid stacks can rise into the active row as the two initial stacks drain. Every source row stack is held for one beat so the yellow 30 and black 29 active row waves can start clearing the yellow head and the black accents first.
- Danger Zone
- The first real trap is the green 28 stack in the third cell of source row 2. The two small green chest blocks on the platform are the smallest green accent region in the picture, and if the player fires the green 28 before the yellow 30 and black 29 active row waves have cleared the ant trail up to the yellow head, green ants use the same dirt path as the yellow ants and they stall on the remaining chest-block cells, blocking the green 25 in source row 2 column 1 that needs to clear the rest of the green torso. The other trap is firing the yellow 25 stacks in source row 1 while black ants are still walking the dirt path up to the black ear tufts, because yellow ants share the same dirt path as the black ants and a premature yellow click strands yellow ants on the remaining body cells and blocks the yellow 30 in source row 2 that needs to clear the green torso highlights. Tapping the yellow 10 in source row 3 before the green 25 in source row 2 column 1 has cleared is also bad, because the yellow 10 is the smallest yellow cleanup wave and it needs the green torso mostly cleared before it can land cleanly.
- Mechanics
- Level 83 is a multi-stack color-routing board combined with a pixel-art clear goal and a single ant hole, with a yellow Top Gamer cat portrait scene. The 5-cell top active row plus the 3-row, 3-column source grid makes this a 11-stack working area with three empty white buffer pads in the active row from the start, so the player can stage multiple rising refills at once. The Top Gamer cat pixel art has five main color families (yellow fur, black stripes and ear tufts, green torso and chest blocks, brown platform, white eyes) plus the late refill waves, and the player has to keep all of those routes staged at once. The 5-cell active row is the queue that pre-holds only the yellow 30 and black 29 from the start, and the 3-row, 3-column source grid underneath it acts as the supply that refills the active row as stacks are sent. The three empty white buffer pads are the only true staging space here, so the last small brown and white refill waves still need a clean delivery after the bottom of the source grid looks clear. Compared to Level 50's Hello Kitty portrait, this Top Gamer cat board opens with only two active row stacks and three buffer pads, which forces the player to drain the yellow 30 head wave before the three yellow 25 stacks in source row 1 are allowed onto the dirt path.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the safest first move in Colony Flow Level 83?
The safest opener is the yellow 30 stack in the first cell of the 5-cell active row, then the black 29 stack in the second cell. This dispatches the yellow and black ants up the dirt path in that order and clears the yellow head and the black ear tufts together before the three yellow 25 stacks in source row 1 or the green 28 chest accent in source row 2 is allowed onto the dirt path. Tap the three yellow 25s in source row 1 only after the two active row waves have cleared.
Why does the green 28 stack jam the route in Colony Flow Level 83?
The green 28 stack in source row 2 column 3 is the only stack on the board that can clear the two small green chest blocks on the brown platform, and those blocks only clear cleanly while the yellow head is clearing. If green ants are sent before the yellow 30 and black 29 active row waves have at least started clearing their color regions, they stall on the remaining chest cells, the green 25 in source row 2 column 1 waiting in the active queue cannot reach the rest of the green torso, and the late brown and white refill waves that have to rise into the empty buffer pads get stranded behind active yellow and black ants on the dirt path.
