Magic Sort Level 362 Walkthrough

hard Target: 28 moves 8 colors

Magic Sort Level 362 is a three-tier, twelve-position cork-pop-plus-box-release board with four tall white corked gift boxes in the top and middle rows (T1, T2, M1, M2) plus one tall wooden box in the bottom row (B1, red padlock) and four single-color starters (T3 blue-orange, M3 pink, B2 red, B4 blue). Pop all four caps in one quick burst using the T3 blue, M3 pink, B2 red and B4 blue tops, then crack the B1 box with the remaining red from B2, then route every released color plus the T3 blue-orange mixer through the four starting empties (T4, M4, B3 plus the freed gift-box and box slots), keep every working empty single-color, and top off the eight colors (red, blue, pink, orange, green, yellow, brown, gray) so the board ends with eight full single-color lanes plus the leftover T4 and M4 working empties.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 362 — Full Solution

  1. Pour T3's blue top onto a corked gift box at T1 to pop the first cap — the gift box releases a hidden single-color bottle into the T1 slot and T1 becomes a working empty, and a blue lane begins to bank.
  2. Pour B4's single blue top onto a corked gift box at T2 to pop the second cap, pour M3's pink top onto a corked gift box at M1 to pop the third cap, and pour B2's single red top onto a corked gift box at M2 to pop the fourth cap, all in one quick wave so the four released single-color bottles all land in working slots.
  3. Pour the remaining red from B2 onto the B1 wooden box to crack it — the box releases a pre-stacked multi-color bottle into the B1 slot and the B1 slot becomes a fifth working empty.
  4. Peel the T3 blue-orange two-segment mixer top-first: pour T3's orange top onto a matching orange destination, then pour T3's blue top onto the parked blue lane from step 1, so T3 collapses into a working empty.
  5. Route the B1 box-released multi-color bottle top-first: peel each exposed top color onto a matching parked lane from steps 1 to 4, and use the freed T1, T2, M1, M2 and T3 slots as single-color buffers when no matching top is available yet.
  6. Pair the four single-color tops from the released gift-box bottles (T1, T2, M1, M2) with the four single-color lanes built in steps 1 to 5, so the top and middle rows collapse into four full single-color lanes.
  7. Top off the eight colors (red, blue, pink, orange, green, yellow, brown, gray) so the board ends with eight full single-color lanes plus the leftover T4 and M4 working empties, and make sure the last cleared empty is the slot that finishes empty.

Colors in this level:

Red, Blue, Pink, Orange, Green, Yellow, Brown, Gray

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Pouring a non-matching top onto any of the four white corks, which strands the wrong color on top of the released bottle and costs an extra pour to clear.
  • Pouring B2's red anywhere other than a corked gift box or the B1 box, which strands the box because B2 is the only bottle that holds a free red and the box is the only red-key consumer.
  • Popping the four caps one or two at a time, which strands the later caps behind released bottles that have no path for the next cap-pour.

Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 362 (spoiler-free)

  • Pop all four white corks in one quick wave using the T3 blue, M3 pink, B2 red and B4 blue tops first, so the four released single-color bottles all land in working slots before any non-matching top is poured.
  • Crack the B1 box with B2's red right after the cap-popping wave, since B2 is the only bottle that holds a free red and the box is the only red-key consumer.
  • Keep the T4 and M4 small near-empties as scratch buffers for the cap-popping wave, and never pour two different colors into the same buffer.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Three tiers, twelve bottle positions, no wraps, paint cans, frozen tiles or magic bottles. The top row is four elements — T1 = tall white corked gift box, T2 = tall white corked gift box, T3 = blue-orange two-segment mixer, and T4 = small near-empty flask. The middle row is four elements — M1 = tall white corked gift box, M2 = tall white corked gift box, M3 = pink one-segment, and M4 = small near-empty flask. The bottom row is four elements — B1 = tall wooden box with a red padlock, B2 = red one-segment, B3 = small near-empty flask, and B4 = blue one-segment. There are exactly four starting empties (T4, M4, B3, plus the locked B1 box sitting in a usable slot), so once the corks pop and the box cracks the player has effectively four working positions. The most visually dominant feature is the unbroken line of four tall white corked gift boxes that fills the top and middle rows.
Goal
Pop the four white corked gift boxes in a single wave using the four visible single-color tops (T3 blue-orange, M3 pink, B2 red, B4 blue), then crack the B1 wooden box with the matching red pour from B2, then route every released color plus the T3 blue-orange mixer into single-color lanes through the four starting empties plus the freed gift-box and box slots. The chokepoint is the cork-popping wave plus the box-opening wave: the four white corks have to be popped in one quick burst using tops that are already safely parked, and the B1 box has to be cracked before any box release can be used as a working empty. The second chokepoint is the T3 blue-orange mixer: orange has no other home on the board, so the T3 orange top has to land on a matching destination before T3's blue is touched.
Opening
Pour T3's blue top onto a corked gift box at T1 to pop the first cap — the gift box releases a hidden single-color bottle into the T1 slot and T1 becomes a working empty. Then pour B4's single blue top onto a corked gift box at T2 to pop the second cap, pour M3's pink top onto a corked gift box at M1 to pop the third cap, and pour B2's single red top onto a corked gift box at M2 to pop the fourth cap, all in one quick wave so the four released single-color bottles all land in working slots. Then pour B2's remaining red onto the B1 wooden box to crack it, so the B1 slot becomes a fifth working empty plus a multi-color release.
Danger Zone
Pouring a non-matching top onto any of the four white corks still pops the cap (the gift box pops on any pour) but strands the wrong color on top of the released bottle, which then needs an extra pour to clear. The T4 and M4 small near-empties are the only true buffers in the top and middle rows, and burning either on a mismatched cap-pour before a matching lane exists strands the first home for a released color. The B1 wooden box has to be cracked with red, and the only red on the board is B2's single layer, so a mis-pour of B2's red strands the box and the rest of the run stalls. The four caps also have to be popped in one wave: pop one or two caps first and the later caps end up behind released bottles that have no path for the next cap-pour.
Mechanics
A three-tier, twelve-position cork-pop-plus-box-release board with no wraps, paint cans, frozen tiles or magic bottles. The only special tiles are the four tall white corked gift boxes (T1, T2, M1, M2) and the one tall wooden box with a red padlock (B1). The chokepoint is the cap-popping wave plus box-opening wave plus buffer discipline: pop all four caps in one quick burst using the T3 blue, M3 pink, B2 red and B4 blue tops, then crack the B1 box with the remaining red from B2, then route every released color plus the T3 blue-orange mixer through the four starting empties plus the freed gift-box and box slots, and top off the eight colors (red, blue, pink, orange, green, yellow, brown, gray) so the board ends with eight full single-color lanes plus the leftover T4 and M4 working empties.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do all four white corks have to be popped in one quick wave in Magic Sort Level 362?

The four white corked gift boxes in the top and middle rows are pre-placed seals that only open when a color is poured onto the cap. Popping them in one quick wave using the T3 blue, M3 pink, B2 red and B4 blue tops means the four released single-color bottles all land in working slots before any non-matching top is poured. Popping one or two caps first strands the later caps behind released bottles that have no path for the next cap-pour, and the cap-popping wave stalls.

  • How is the B1 wooden box cracked in Magic Sort Level 362?

The B1 wooden box has a red padlock and only cracks when red is poured onto it. The only red on the board is B2's single one-segment layer, so the B1 box has to be cracked with B2's red right after the cap-popping wave. Once the box cracks, the B1 slot becomes a working empty and the box releases a pre-stacked multi-color bottle that becomes the natural receiver for the rest of the sort.
