Magic Sort Level 430 Walkthrough

hard Target: 56 moves 12 colors

Magic Sort Level 430 is a three-tier, thirteen-bottle cap-and-cork pop board with zero starting empties. The top row carries six small mixers (T1 purple / cyan / light-purple / yellow, T2 yellow / red / dark-red / pink, T3 yellow / gray / light-gray, T4 green / dark-red / red / pink, T5 brown / red / yellow / blue, T6 purple / brown / orange / blue), the middle row is four dark "?" wooden mystery boxes with colored caps (M1 orange, M2 pink, M3 red, M4 blue), and the bottom row is three small corked bottles (B1 light blue, B2 yellow, B3 brown). Pop the B2 yellow cork first with T3's top yellow, then the B1 light blue cork with T1's cyan mid, then peel T6's orange onto the M1 cap, pour T5 / T6 brown onto the B3 cork, then pop M3 with T4's dark-red, M2 with T2 / T4 pink, and M4 with T5 / T6 blue in that depth order so every released bottle lands in a working buffer, drain the six top mixers top-first through the freed cork and cap slots, and top off purple, cyan, yellow, red, pink, gray, green, brown, blue, orange, light-blue and dark so all thirteen positions end on a single color with one empty slot in the middle row.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 430 — Full Solution

  1. Peel T3's top yellow down onto the B2 yellow cork so the cork pops and B2 becomes a working yellow buffer, then pour T2's top yellow onto the parked yellow at B2 to grow the yellow lane and T2 collapses to a red / dark-red / pink base.
  2. Pour T1's cyan mid-layer down onto the B1 light-blue cork so the cork pops and B1 reveals a full light-blue bottle, then pour T1's now-exposed light-purple onto a freed T3 slot to start a purple buffer.
  3. Pour T6's orange layer (third from the top) down onto the M1 orange cap so the cap falls and M1 reveals a full orange bottle, then pour the just-poured T6 orange onto the parked orange at M1 so M1 becomes a clean orange lane and T6 collapses toward its blue base.
  4. Pour T5's brown top down onto the B3 brown cork so the cork pops and B3 reveals a full brown bottle, then pour the just-poured T5 brown onto the parked brown at B3 so B3 becomes a clean brown lane and T5 collapses to a red / yellow / blue base.
  5. Pour T4's top green off onto a freed T5 slot to start a green buffer, then pour T4's dark-red mid onto the M3 red cap so the cap falls and M3 reveals a full red bottle, and pour the just-poured T4 dark-red onto the parked red at M3.
  6. Drain the rest of T4 top-first (red onto the parked red at M3, then pink onto a freed T1 or T6 slot) so T4 collapses into a working empty, then pour T2's pink base down onto the M2 pink cap so the cap falls and M2 reveals a full pink bottle.
  7. Pour T5's red onto the parked red at M3 and T5's yellow onto the parked yellow at B2 so T5 collapses to a blue base, then pour T6's purple top onto the parked purple at T1 and T6's brown mid onto the parked brown at B3 so T6 collapses to a blue base.
  8. Pour T5's blue base and T6's blue base down onto the M4 blue cap so the cap falls and M4 reveals a full blue bottle, then top off purple, cyan, yellow, red, pink, gray, green, brown, blue, orange, light-blue and dark each into a single bottle so all thirteen positions end on a single color with one empty slot in the middle row.

Colors in this level:

Purple, Cyan, Yellow, Red, Pink, Gray, Green, Brown, Blue, Orange, Light blue, Dark

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Pouring a non-matching color onto any of the four box caps (M1 orange, M2 pink, M3 red, M4 blue) or the three corks (B1 light blue, B2 yellow, B3 brown), which still breaks the seal but strands a mismatched color on top of the released bottle and costs an extra pour to clear before that bottle can join the sort.
  • Pouring T1's cyan or light-purple into a bottle that already holds red, yellow or pink, which buries the only light-blue trigger the B1 cork has and leaves the B1 sealed stack stranded under its cork for the rest of the run.
  • Pouring T2's pink base or T4's pink base into a buffer that already holds orange, red or green, which buries the only pink trigger the M2 cap has and leaves M2's cap sealed with its hidden color locked inside.

Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 430 (spoiler-free)

  • Pop the B2 yellow cork first with T3's top yellow and never pop the M1 orange cap with a yellow, red, pink, green, gray, brown or blue pour, because yellow is the only cork trigger that sits on top of four different mixers (T1, T2, T3, T5) and banking the yellow lane at B2 first opens a working bottom-row buffer before any box cap is touched.
  • Save the buried triggers (T1 cyan for B1, T2 / T4 pink for M2, T2 / T4 / T5 red for M3, T5 / T6 brown for B3, T5 / T6 blue for M4, T6 orange for M1) until the matching cap is on the table and the popped bottle has a clean home, because pouring a top color into the wrong cap still breaks the seal but strands a mismatched top on the released bottle and costs an extra pour to clear.
  • Drain the six top mixers top-first through the freed cork and cap slots (B1 light blue, B2 yellow, B3 brown, M1 orange, M2 pink, M3 red, M4 blue) and keep every working buffer single-color, because the seven released bottles plus the six drained mixers have to resolve to twelve single-color lanes plus one empty slot in the middle row.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Three tiers, thirteen bottle positions, no locks, wraps, spray cans, frozen tiles, magic bottles, white star flasks, vault boxes or any starting empty bottle. The top row is six small three- or four-layer mixers — T1 a purple / cyan / light-purple / yellow four-layer stack, T2 a yellow / red / dark-red / pink four-layer stack, T3 a yellow / gray / light-gray three-layer stack, T4 a green / dark-red / red / pink four-layer stack, T5 a brown / red / yellow / blue four-layer stack, and T6 a purple / brown / orange / blue four-layer stack. The middle row is four small dark wooden mystery boxes (M1–M4), each topped with a small colored cap and showing two "?" bands down the bottle body — M1 carries a dark-orange cap, M2 a pink cap, M3 a dark-red cap, and M4 a dark-blue cap. The bottom row is three small corked bottles (B1–B3) — B1 a light-blue cork over a cyan / light-blue base, B2 a yellow cork over a yellow base, and B3 a brown cork over a brown base — and the cork hides the rest of each bottle's stack. The most visually dominant feature is the unbroken band of four dark "?" mystery boxes in the middle row with their colored caps, and the second most dominant feature is the three small corked bottles tucked under the boxes.
Goal
Pop the four middle-row wooden mystery boxes (M1 orange, M2 pink, M3 red, M4 blue) by pouring their matching colored cap-color from the top row, pop the three bottom-row corked bottles (B1 light blue, B2 yellow, B3 brown) by pouring their matching cork-color from the top row, then drain the six top-row mixers and the seven released single-color bottles until every position ends on a single color. The real chokepoint is the seven cap-and-cork pops because each special tile only opens on its exact matching color, and almost every trigger color lives in the middle or at the base of a top-row mixer, so the player has to peel the top colors off first, save the buried trigger colors intact, and pop the four boxes plus three corks in a depth-aware order. The first unlock that matters is the B2 yellow cork — its trigger sits on top of four different mixers (T1, T2, T3, T5) so popping it early opens a working yellow buffer in the bottom row before any box cap is touched.
Opening
Peel T3 top yellow down onto the B2 yellow cork so the cork pops and B2 becomes a working yellow buffer, then pour T2 top yellow onto the parked yellow at B2 to grow the yellow lane. Pour T1 cyan mid-layer down onto the B1 light-blue cork so the cork pops and B1 reveals a full light-blue bottle, then pour T1 now-exposed light-purple onto a freed T3 slot to start a purple buffer. Pour T6 orange layer (third from the top) down onto the M1 orange cap so the cap falls and M1 reveals a full orange bottle, then pour the just-poured T6 orange onto the parked orange at M1 so M1 becomes a clean orange lane and T6 collapses toward its blue base.
Danger Zone
Pouring the wrong color onto any of the four box caps (M1 orange, M2 pink, M3 red, M4 blue) or the three corks (B1 light blue, B2 yellow, B3 brown) still breaks the seal but strands a mismatched color on top of the released bottle, which costs an extra pour to clear before that bottle can join the sort. Pouring T1 cyan or light-purple into a bottle that already holds red, yellow or pink buries the only light-blue trigger the B1 cork has, and B1 never pops for the rest of the run. Pouring T2 pink base or T4 pink base into a buffer that already holds orange, red or green buries the only pink trigger the M2 cap has, so M2 cap stays sealed with its hidden color locked inside. Pouring T5 brown top or T6 brown mid into a buffer that already holds orange, red or yellow buries the only brown trigger the B3 cork has, and the B3 sealed stack never enters the sort. Pouring T2 red mid, T4 dark-red mid, or T5 red mid into the B2 yellow buffer before M3 is popped strands the red source on top of the yellow lane and burns the only red trigger the M3 cap has.
Mechanics
A three-tier, thirteen-bottle cap-and-cork pop board with zero starting empties. The four middle-row wooden mystery boxes (M1 orange cap, M2 pink cap, M3 red cap, M4 blue cap) accept only their exact matching color and reveal a pre-stacked single-color bottle, and the three bottom-row corked bottles (B1 light blue, B2 yellow, B3 brown) likewise accept only their exact matching color and reveal a pre-stacked single-color bottle. The chokepoint is depth-aware pop order: the cork triggers (yellow on top of T1 / T2 / T3 / T5, light blue mid of T1, brown mid of T5 / T6) and the box triggers (orange mid of T6, pink base of T2 / T4, red mid of T2 / T4 / T5, blue base of T5 / T6) have to be peeled in an order that never strands a wrong color on a popped cap and never burns the only mid-or-base trigger the next cap needs. The skill is peeling the top colors off the six mixers to bank purple, yellow, gray and the easy trigger colors, popping the B2 yellow cork first, then the B1 light blue cork, then the M1 orange cap, the B3 brown cork, the M3 red cap, the M2 pink cap and the M4 blue cap in that order so the seven released bottles each land in a working buffer that already has a matching lane.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the first pour in Magic Sort Level 430?

Peel T3's top yellow down onto the B2 yellow cork so the cork pops and B2 becomes a working yellow buffer. Yellow is the only cork trigger that sits on top of four different mixers (T1, T2, T3, T5), so popping B2 first opens a working bottom-row buffer before any of the four box caps (M1 orange, M2 pink, M3 red, M4 blue) is touched, and the player can then peel the buried triggers (T1 cyan, T6 orange, T5 brown, T4 dark-red, T2 pink, T5 / T6 blue) onto their matching caps and corks in a depth-aware order.

  • How do the four wooden mystery boxes work in Level 430?

Each of the four middle-row mystery boxes (M1, M2, M3, M4) is a small dark wooden bottle with two "?" bands and a small colored cap on top — M1 dark-orange, M2 pink, M3 dark-red, M4 dark-blue. Pouring the cap's exact matching color onto the cap drops the cap and reveals a pre-stacked single-color bottle in the same slot, but pouring a non-matching color still breaks the seal and strands a wrong top on the released bottle, which costs an extra pour to clear. The four caps accept only orange (M1), pink (M2), red (M3) and blue (M4), and the player has to peel the matching triggers off the top-row mixers (T6 orange mid, T2 / T4 pink base, T2 / T4 / T5 red mid, T5 / T6 blue base) in that depth order.

  • Why pop the B2 yellow cork before the four box caps in Level 430?

Yellow is the only cork trigger that sits on top of four different mixers (T1, T2, T3, T5), so popping B2 with T3's top yellow opens a working yellow buffer in the bottom row before any box cap is touched. The four box triggers (M1 orange, M2 pink, M3 red, M4 blue) and the other two cork triggers (B1 light blue, B3 brown) all live in the middle or at the base of a top-row mixer, so the player has to peel the top colors off first and route them through the parked yellow at B2 to keep every other pour color-clean. Skipping the B2 cork pop and going straight to a box cap strands a mismatched top on the popped bottle and burns the only bottom-row buffer the rest of the sort needs.
