Sand Blocks level guide
Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 431 Walkthrough
Level 431 starts with a red panel marked 5, an orange panel marked 5 and a brown panel marked 3 packed around a small receiver pocket. Clear the white, green, red and orange pieces around the side feeds first; after the panels open, the left pipe changes through green and yellow while the right pipe supplies blue for the long final cleanup.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 431 — Full Solution
- At 4:00, clear the small pale/white receiver closest to the upper-left pipe, then the nearby green connector. Let each piece reach 100% and disappear before moving the next crowded piece.
- Use the short red upright and the adjacent orange/brown squares in the upper-left pocket. Keep the tall black receiver in the left lane until the small red and orange pieces have left the pocket.
- Feed the white horizontal bar and the next dark receiver through the open left-side cells. This sequence reduces the brown 3 panel and creates the first usable lower-right landing cells.
- During the 3:30-3:00 phase, keep the central lane clear while the left feed turns green. Move the remaining orange/brown pieces to the right-side pipe rather than stacking them across the red panel.
- When the timer is around 2:32, the brown panel is gone and the red panel is at 1. Finish the last small red/white receiver around the upper pocket, then clear the final pieces needed to remove the red and orange panels.
- Once the large panels have disappeared, wait for the feed transition. The left pipe supplies yellow/green and the right pipe supplies blue; do not immediately drag a long receiver through the middle while the new sand is settling.
- Place the first blue horizontal and blue square under the right-side blue stream. Use the open lower-right cells for the long blue bars, leaving the left side free for the yellow verticals.
- Move the tall yellow receiver into the left feed, then clear the short yellow bars beneath it. The yellow pieces should be handled from the outside inward so they do not close the centre lane.
- Use the remaining green connectors and small orange pieces as side-lane clears. When a blue or yellow receiver reaches 100%, wait for it to vanish before crossing its former footprint.
- Between about 0:45 and 0:30, finish the last yellow bars and the isolated blue receiver. The board is empty at about 0:29, followed by the Sand Blocks completion transition.
Colors in this level:
White, Green, Red, Orange, Brown, Black, Blue, Yellow
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Parking a long green, blue or yellow receiver across the middle before the red and orange panels have opened.
- Treating the three numbered panels as timed doors. They fall as the surrounding receivers clear, so waiting does not replace the small side-lane moves.
- Crossing the board immediately after a receiver reaches 100%. The late yellow/blue feeds need a short settling pause before the next drag.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 431 (quick clues)
- Clear the small pale, green, red and orange receivers around the upper-left pocket before moving the long pieces.
- Keep the centre rows open while the brown panel falls away and the red/orange panels approach zero.
- After the panels disappear, send yellow to the left pipe and blue to the right pipe; wait for each receiver to vanish before crossing its old footprint.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Approximately eight columns wide. A pale pipe enters at the upper-left and an orange pipe at the upper-right. The red counted panel marked 5 occupies the upper-right, the orange panel marked 5 fills the lower-left, and the brown panel marked 3 fills the lower-right. The exposed pocket between them contains a tall black receiver in the left lane, a white horizontal bar, a red upright, orange and brown squares, green connectors, and small blue/yellow receivers along the lower-right side.
- Goal
- Use the small receivers beside the two pipes to remove the brown panel first, then finish the red and orange panels. Once the large panels are gone, route the late yellow receivers to the left pipe and the blue receivers to the right pipe until the grid is empty.
- Opening
- At 4:00 start with the pale/white and green receivers in the upper-left pocket, then clear the adjacent red upright and orange/brown squares. Leave the long central and lower-right pieces parked until the first 100% clears settle, because those cells are needed to lower the brown 3 panel and open the side lanes.
- Danger Zone
- A long green, blue or yellow receiver parked across the middle rows while the red panel still reads 5 or 1 blocks the only cells where the orange/brown pocket can reach a pipe. Keep the centre open through the 2:30-2:10 phase, when the brown panel is already gone but the orange panel still reads 5.
- Mechanics
- Three counted panels gate the board: red 5 in the upper-right, orange 5 in the lower-left and brown 3 in the lower-right. The left feed changes pale/white to green to yellow and the right feed changes orange to blue. Receiver clears reach 100% and disappear; the cleared footprints become the landing cells for the next colour phase.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do the red 5, orange 5 and brown 3 panels do?
They are counted space gates. Clearing the small receivers around the side feeds lowers them and releases more of the board; the brown 3 panel opens first.
Which pipe takes the late colours?
The left pipe changes through green and yellow, while the right pipe changes from orange to blue. Route yellow pieces left and blue pieces right after the large panels disappear.
Why should the centre stay empty?
The middle cells are the only crossing and landing route for the orange/brown pocket before the panels open and for the long yellow/blue pieces afterward.
