Sand Blocks level guide
Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 429 Walkthrough
Level 429 uses a blue shutter marked 3 to gate a six-column upper room. Clear the small green, white, yellow, red and orange receivers first, open the lower chamber around 1:22, then route the brown, orange, cyan, green, white and purple feed waves in order.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 429 — Full Solution
- At 1:40, clear the small green and white receivers nearest the upper-left feed. The top-right green badge drops from 3 to 2, and the other visible count badges fall with the same clear sequence.
- Move the yellow vertical into the left feed lane, then clear the red square/L and the orange square in the middle. Keep the blue bar parked along the upper row rather than across the central opening.
- Finish the next green and white receivers. By about 1:27 the blue shutter shows 1; the last upper-room clear removes it at about 1:22.
- When the lower room appears, use the yellow vertical and the small white receiver at the upper edge first. Leave the blue striped gate/star piece and the cyan counter block unobstructed.
- Around 1:17, the right feed turns brown. Place the brown L in the right half of the upper chamber and clear the red L beside it. Use the small white square to keep the central corridor open.
- Around 1:12, the left feed turns orange. Bring the orange horizontal receiver under that outlet; it reaches 100% at about 1:02. Clear the remaining white piece immediately after it.
- When the left feed returns to blue/cyan around 0:57, move the cyan L into the left side of the open chamber and keep the long yellow receiver against the feed rather than in the centre. The visible lower count continues to fall as these pieces clear.
- At about 0:47, finish the yellow and cyan group and let the lower gate settle. The next sequence uses the upper-left cyan feed, the right green feed and the brown L in the lower room.
- Around 0:37, place the cyan L under the upper-left outlet and let the count-marked cyan piece fill. At about 0:32, move the brown L and the purple bar into the lower room so the green feed has a clear path.
- At about 0:27, the right feed turns white. Put the white L-shaped receiver under it and wait for the visible fill to reach 100%; the upper room empties by roughly 0:22.
- Between 0:22 and 0:17, clear the remaining black/green lower pieces. When the right feed turns purple, place the small magenta square, the upper magenta square and the long magenta bar in sequence.
- Finish the last dark receiver under the purple feed. The board reaches the SAND BLOCKS completion animation around 0:09, with the lower chamber empty.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Waiting for the blue shutter to open on its own; it falls only as receivers clear.
- Parking the red L or yellow vertical across the upper centre before the lower room opens.
- Dropping the cyan L into the lower room before the orange and white waves have used the central corridor.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 429 (quick clues)
- Start with the smallest green and white receivers so the shared badges fall quickly.
- Keep the yellow vertical and red L out of the centre until the blue shutter is gone.
- Reserve the centre for the cyan L and brown L; the final purple wave needs only a few open cells.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- The opening six-column room sits under blue and green reservoirs. A blue shutter marked 3 spans the lower edge. Visible pieces include a yellow vertical, green bars, a red L, a blue bar, white and orange squares, a purple vertical with a count badge and a lower green bar. The revealed lower six-column room contains a blue striped gate/star piece, a cyan counter block, yellow and cyan receivers, a brown L, a purple bar, white pieces and lower red/green pieces.
- Goal
- Use quick upper-room clears to remove the blue shutter. After the reveal, keep the central corridor open while the brown and orange feeds clear, then use the cyan/yellow group, the green and brown lower pieces, the white L and the final purple wave.
- Opening
- At 1:40 the green reservoir reads 3 and the blue shutter reads 3. Small green and white clears reduce the visible badges together; the blue shutter reaches 1 around 1:27 and disappears around 1:22. The lower room then opens with the cyan counter block and the blue striped gate visible at its upper edge.
- Danger Zone
- Do not leave the red L or yellow vertical across the upper centre when the blue shutter is about to open. Those cells are the landing route for the first lower-room pieces. After the reveal, keep the cyan L out of the lower chamber until the orange and white pieces have cleared.
- Mechanics
- The upper and lower rooms share visible clear-count badges that decrease as receivers disappear. The blue shutter is the main phase gate. Feed colours change from blue/green to orange/brown, then yellow/cyan, green, white and finally purple; the final purple group clears an otherwise empty board at about 0:09.
Frequently Asked Questions
What removes the blue shutter?
The early green, white, yellow, red, orange and blue receiver clears. The shutter falls from 3 to 1 and disappears around 1:22.
What is the blue striped piece below the first room?
It is part of the gated lower-room layout. Leave its cells clear while the lower chamber settles; the useful receivers are the yellow, cyan, brown and white pieces around it.
How does the level finish?
The last feed turns purple around 0:17. Three magenta receivers clear in sequence, followed by the final dark receiver, and the board reaches the completion animation around 0:09.
