Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 440 Walkthrough

expert 10 colors

Level 440 opens as a Super Hard board under purple, yellow and white hoppers, with a green shutter counting down from 3 above a crowded receiver pocket. Clear that gate first, then route the exposed purple 14, cyan 25 and white 7/19 lanes before finishing the late green, yellow, white and brown pieces.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 440 — Full Solution

  1. After the Super Hard banner at 2:40, clear the short yellow and brown receivers immediately below the green shutter. Let each receiver disappear before reusing the same upper row.
  2. Move the green upright toward the left side hopper and clear the nearby small green piece. Keep the red L, white L and long brown receiver in the lower pocket while the shutter counter is still above 0.
  3. Use the remaining short yellow and brown pieces around the centre and right wall. Do not place a long footprint across the shutter mouth; the early clears are what take the green panel through 2 and 1.
  4. When the green shutter reaches 0 and opens, wait for the expanded board to settle. The cyan 25 receiver and purple 14 receivers now occupy the middle room; keep their horizontal and vertical footprints in separate lanes.
  5. Route the purple receivers under the purple feed and the cyan horizontal receiver through the centre. Clear a receiver at 100% before moving another long piece across its former cells.
  6. Use the white right-side receivers in their vertical lane, working around the values 7 and 19. Leave the yellow hopper row open so the next yellow receiver can settle instead of stopping above a full footprint.
  7. During the mid-board phase, place the long green L in the left/centre lane and clear the short brown and yellow pieces below it. The cyan counter falls from 25 toward 24 while the purple values fall from 14 toward 13.
  8. When the counters have reduced to the late values around cyan 16 and purple 5, keep the right white lane and the lower cyan landing area open. Move the small green and yellow receivers from the outside inward.
  9. At about 0:22, use the green side receiver against the left hopper and let it settle before moving the cyan horizontal receiver marked 11. Keep the lower brown pieces out of both footprints.
  10. Finish the remaining yellow, white and brown pieces in the upper and lower-right lanes. Let the last cyan grains settle; the board empties at about 0:00 and enters the Level 440 completion transition.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Blocking the green shutter mouth with a red L, white L or long brown receiver before the 3-to-0 opening count has finished.
  • Using the centre as permanent parking for a long purple or cyan footprint while the 25 and 14 lanes still need to clear.
  • Crossing the late green side receiver with the cyan horizontal before the lower brown pieces have left their cells.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 440 (quick clues)

  • Clear the short yellow and brown pieces under the green shutter before moving the red or white L.
  • Leave the centre open for the cyan 25 receiver and purple 14 lanes after the shutter reaches 0.
  • Keep the late green side receiver separate from the cyan horizontal and lower brown pieces.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Approximately seven columns wide with eleven receiver rows. Purple, yellow and white hoppers sit above a large green shutter that falls through 3, 2 and 1. The opening pocket contains short yellow and brown receivers, a green upright with a horizontal-arrow marker, a purple upright, a red L, a white L, a tall brown receiver, small green pieces and a lower-right brown receiver with a vertical-arrow marker. After release, the board exposes purple 14/13 receivers, a cyan horizontal receiver marked 25, white right-side values 7 and 19, and a long green L.
Goal
Clear the small pocket until the green shutter reaches 0, then keep the centre open for the cyan 25 and purple 14 lanes. Finish the late cyan 16-to-11, green side, yellow, white and brown receivers without crossing their lower footprints.
Opening
At 2:40 start with the short yellow and brown receivers beneath the green shutter, then use the green upright and nearby small green piece. Keep the red L, white L and long brown receiver in the lower pocket until the shutter has opened.
Danger Zone
A red L, white L or long brown receiver parked across the middle lane while the green shutter shows 2 or 1 blocks the yellow/white release path and leaves the cyan 25 receiver without a landing row. Late in the run, crossing the green side receiver with the cyan horizontal strands the lower brown pieces.
Mechanics
A Super Hard banner precedes a green counted shutter. The expanded room visibly uses purple 14/13 receivers, a cyan 25/24/16/11 counter and white right-side values that fall from 19 and 7 toward 10 and 5. The late feed is shared by green, yellow and white receivers; there is no key or lock chain.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the first priority in Level 440?

Clear the compact yellow, brown and green pocket under the green shutter. The panel must count down to 0 before the larger purple, cyan and white lanes can be routed.

  • How should the mid-board numbers be read?

Treat the visible 25/24/16/11 cyan values, purple 14/13/5 values and white side values as level-specific counters. Keep their receiver lanes open and wait after each clear.

  • What is the late-board trap?

Keep the green side receiver and cyan horizontal separate from the lower brown pieces. Crossing those footprints too early leaves the final side-fed sand with no clean landing lane.
