Block Out level guide

Block Out Level 6 Walkthrough

medium 4 colors

Block Out Level 6 is the first staged-exit board. Collapse the right-side quota first, keep both top `9` caps shrinking together, and save the red and yellow finish bars for the moment the top gates thaw.

Board Notes

Layout
The board is a small checker of black and white mini-blocks with two frosted `9` counters across the top and a smaller right-side counter that starts at `4`. A red strip crosses the center-right, with red and yellow bars parked in the lower lanes.
Goal
Burn down the side quota and the twin top caps so the final red and yellow exits appear.
Opening
Use the upper-right white stack and the center white bridge to keep touching the right-side counter first. The lower red and yellow bars should stay parked during this setup.
Danger Zone
Sending a color bar away too early steals the space the checkerboard needs for the quota work.
Mechanics
Level 6 introduces staged exits. The first phase is quota reduction, and only the second phase is a normal color finish.

Quick Tips for Block Out Level 6 (spoiler-free)

  • The right-side `4` counter is the first target.
  • Keep the lower red and yellow bars idle until the side lane opens.
  • If the board feels stuck, look for the color with the cleanest path and use that to regain space.

How to Solve Block Out Level 6 — Full Solution

  1. Slide the upper-right white stack into the top-right lane so it can start hitting the right-side quota column.
  2. Use the center white bridge to keep feeding the right-side counter until it drops from `4` toward `1`.
  3. Rotate the top black blocker and the upper white blocks through the two `9` counters so both top caps keep shrinking together.
  4. Leave the lower red strip and the lower-right yellow strip parked while the checkerboard center is still doing the quota work.
  5. Once the right wall opens into a white release lane, peel the last upper white block out and finish the top countdown.
  6. When the frozen caps convert into colored exits, send the yellow strip to the upper-right gate.
  7. Finish by running the last red strip to the top-left red gate.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Trying to spend the lower red or yellow bars before the right-side counter has nearly collapsed.
  • Only shrinking one of the top `9` caps and leaving the other one frozen.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What should you clear first in Block Out Level 6?

Start with the right-side `4` counter. The board does not open into real colored exits until that side quota is almost gone.

  • When do the red and yellow bars move in Level 6?

They are finishers. Keep them parked until the top frosted counters have nearly finished shrinking.
