Block Out Level 4 Walkthrough

medium 8 colors

Block Out Level 4 is a two-phase striped board. Clear the lower-right white exit and the bottom mint bar first, dismantle the white-and-black blocker ladder on the right, and only then release the long colored bars.

Board Notes

Layout
Long red, yellow, green, blue, orange, and mint bars fill the left half of the board, while the right half is packed with alternating white and black mini-blockers in front of stacked color exits. A black gate sits on the floor and a white gate sits in the lower-right corner.
Goal
Use the lower-right white gate to strip apart the blocker ladder so the long left-side bars can finally travel to their matching exits.
Opening
Drop the bottom-right white block out first, then cash the bottom mint bar through its side gate. Those two moves are what expose the floor lane for the next blocker.
Danger Zone
Launching the blue or green long bars too early keeps the right-side white ladder intact and blocks the middle of the board.
Mechanics
Level 4 behaves like a blocker cleanup before it behaves like a color-sort puzzle. The left bars do not truly start until the right edge has been stripped down.

Quick Tips for Block Out Level 4 (spoiler-free)

  • The lower-right white exit is the real starter.
  • The bottom mint bar is the only long bar you should release before the right ladder collapses.
  • If the board feels stuck, look for the color with the cleanest path and use that to regain space.

How to Solve Block Out Level 4 — Full Solution

  1. Drop the small white block in the lower-right corner through the white exit.
  2. Slide the bottom mint bar to the right and clear it through its matching side gate.
  3. Let the nearest black blocker fall into the floor lane, then use the new gap to peel the next white blockers down the right edge and out through the white gate.
  4. Keep repeating that right-edge cleanup until the white-and-black ladder is mostly gone and the long bars on the left have room to travel.
  5. Release the blue bar, then the green bar, and then the remaining lower warm bars once their matching right-side gates are open.
  6. Save the upper yellow bar for the penultimate move.
  7. Finish by sliding the top red bar across to the red side gate.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Trying to fire the long blue bar before the right-side blocker ladder has collapsed.
  • Ignoring the bottom mint bar and leaving the floor lane sealed.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What should leave first in Block Out Level 4?

Start with the small white block in the lower-right corner, then clear the bottom mint bar.

  • Why do the long bars feel stuck in Level 4?

Because the real jam is the white-and-black blocker ladder on the right. Until that ladder is stripped down, the long bars cannot reach their gates cleanly.
