Block Out Level 176 Walkthrough

hard 9 colors

Block Out Level 176 is a two-board relay: a lower rectangle with a central 8 feeds an upper purple chamber around a 40. Empty the lower field completely from right to left, then solve the multicolor ring that appears around the upper cyan center—never leave lower scraps behind for the upper phase.

Board notes 5 details
Layout
Two stacked rectangular boards. Upper: an empty purple chamber around a central 40. Lower: a large purple field with cyan, red, and green blocks, edge counters, a central 8, and colored exits on all sides. Later the upper chamber fills with a multicolor ring around a cyan core.
Goal
Clear the lower 8 field to activate the upper 40 chamber, drain the colored ring around its cyan center, and finish only after both boards are empty.
Opening
Remove the lower board right-side green and red groups, clear the cyan center column beside the 8, and work the purple mass from the opened center toward the left edge.
Danger Zone
Stranding the lower-left purple mass by clearing its bottom approach before the cyan center and red right wall leave. The upper chamber cannot be solved while lower pieces remain.
Mechanics
Two stacked boards activate in sequence: a lower 8 field feeds an upper 40 chamber that later reveals a colored ring around a cyan core.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is Level 176 a relay instead of two parallel boards?

The lower rectangle with the central 8 feeds the upper purple chamber. Upper work before the lower field is empty just piles unfinished traffic into the handoff.

  • What freezes the upper 40 chamber?

Leaving cyan stuck in the chamber center while the ring still needs to rotate around it. Cyan is the hub; the ring cannot clear past a blocked hub.
