How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 402 — Full Solution
- Tap the opening white 35 pair; wait through the visible 32/33 and 18/19 waves before choosing another long card.
- Route orange-brown 36, then pale-peach 8 as its matching hole returns, leaving one buffer slot free.
- Tap yellow 16 and wait for its stream to clear; send blue 1 only after the yellow route returns.
- Start the dark-purple 35 pair one card at a time, alternating with the exposed white 35 and pale-cyan 35 cards.
- Use orange-brown 30 and the next white card as the dark route returns; wait when the top lane shows changing orange or white counters.
- Continue through the remaining dark-purple 35 cards and long white/pale-cyan reserve, never filling all five holes.
- Finish the cyan band and brown side blocks with the short orange, blue and pale-peach remnants, waiting between each ant wave.
- Clear the final dark-purple and orange pixels, then wait for the empty board and Colony Flow victory logo.
Colors in this level:
White, Orange, Pale peach, Yellow, Blue, Dark purple, Pale cyan
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Taking a dark-purple 35 card before the white wave returns blocks the short pale-peach 8 and blue 1 routes.
- Discarding blue 1 early leaves the yellow 16 lane without the small release needed for the next face layer.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 402 (spoiler-free)
- Wait through the white 32/33 and 18/19 waves instead of reading them as new stacks.
- Save blue 1 for the return of the yellow 16 route.
- Alternate dark-purple 35 with white or pale-cyan 35 when three holes are occupied.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- The pixel art is an orange-brown horned face under a dark-purple cap, with a cyan band, brown side blocks and white corner pixels. The opening board shows white 35 cards, orange-brown 36/30, pale-peach 8, yellow 16 linked to blue 1, dark-purple 35/35 and lower white or pale-cyan 35 cards.
- Goal
- Clear the white upper lane, orange-brown face, dark-purple cap, cyan band, brown sides and the small blue 1 fragment.
- Opening
- Start with the white pair, wait through the 32/33 and 18/19 counter waves, then route orange-brown 36, pale-peach 8, yellow 16 and blue 1 as holes return.
- Danger Zone
- The dark-purple 35 pair sits behind the orange and yellow routes; tapping it while the long white stream occupies the five slots strands pale-peach 8 and blue 1.
- Mechanics
- The upper white lane advances in several waves. The orange-brown/pale-peach connector and yellow 16/blue 1 pair must be released in sequence before the face layers open.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should blue 1 be used?
Use it after yellow 16 has returned its ants; it is the small release that keeps the next dark-purple lane open.
Why do the white counts keep changing before the next layer appears?
The opening white lane drains in waves, so counters such as 32/33 and 18/19 are moving stacks rather than separate taps.
