How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 405 — Full Solution
- Tap brown 30 and brown 30; wait for both orange streams to reach the upper route and settle.
- Send blue 33, then white 35 through the connected pink 45 lane, leaving one buffer slot open.
- Route pink 50 and dark-purple 17 only after the opening brown and white ants return, then use brick-brown 11 as the short release.
- Work through brown 50, white 40 and brown 35 one at a time; do not pair the two 50-count cards in a full buffer.
- As the counters drop, alternate brown 30/35 with pink 45 and exposed short white or blue cards, waiting while the center hole carries ants.
- Clear the cyan and white face pieces, then use late brown 25/45/11 and pink 50/8 fragments as they surface.
- Finish the red cap or tie, cyan outline and remaining brown gate pieces with short red, blue, white and brown cards; let both 60/5 counters reach zero.
- Wait for the last mascot pixels to leave, then confirm the empty board and Colony Flow victory logo.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Opening a 50-count pink or brown stack because the right gate already reads 5 fills the buffer before the left 60 gate is ready.
- Using white 40 and brown 50 together strands the short brown 3 and late red/cyan fragments behind the gate.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 405 (spoiler-free)
- Finish the two brown 30 openers before blue 33.
- Treat the right 5 gate as a distraction while the left 60 gate remains active.
- Keep the short brown 3 and late red/cyan pieces out of the long-card buffer.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- The target is a white-faced mascot with a red cap or tie, cyan outline pixels and brown side panels. The two visible gate counters read 60 and 5. Opening cards show brown 30/30, brick-brown 11, blue 33, pink 50, dark-purple 17, brown 35, white 35, brown 50, white 40, pink 45, pink 50 and brown 3.
- Goal
- Lower both gates, then remove the brown frame, cyan center, white face and red-pink cap or tie until the last mascot pixels and gate pieces leave.
- Opening
- Tap brown 30, the second brown 30 and blue 33, waiting for each orange stream to return; then use white 35 through the connected pink 45 route.
- Danger Zone
- Pink 50, dark-purple 17, brown 50 and white 40 are long queues. Starting them while the 60 gate is still active fills the five slots and strands short brown 3 or red/cyan gate fragments.
- Mechanics
- The left 60 and right 5 gates release at different speeds. The image shifts from brown frame to cyan and red details, so every freed hole must be reused for the next short gate fragment before another 50-count card.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which gate should control the opening?
The right 5 counter moves early, but the left 60 gate controls the central picture; preserve short routes until the left side advances.
What remains after the mascot looks mostly clear?
The late red cap or tie, cyan outline, brown gate pieces and short brown/blue fragments still need to reach their holes.
