How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 408 — Full Solution
- In the successful Level 408 run, start orange-brown 4, then the short 5, 5, 1 and 8 cards in their displayed order.
- Wait for the 4 and 1 holes to return before opening white 35, pink 24 or orange 35.
- Use pink 24 and orange 35 as the first long pair, then add white 35 when a short orange route comes back.
- As the counter moves through 128, 117 and 101, alternate white 30/35, orange 32/35 and dark 36 instead of filling all five holes.
- Clear the wooden counter and red check trim with returning orange, pink and yellow fragments while keeping a hole for the chef's face.
- At the 18 hold, take the short white, orange and dark pieces, including the 20, 14 and 13-count cards.
- Route the yellow face and white hat cards as they appear, then use the remaining orange-brown counter pieces after a return.
- When only the dark outline and detached hat/counter edges remain, use the short white and orange fragments before any new 35-count card.
- Clear the final dark outline, white hat pixels and orange counter fragments, then wait for the empty board and win screen.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Reading the loading/attempt segment as the solution board leads to the wrong opening order.
- Launching white 35, pink 24 and orange 35 before the short 4/1 routes return blocks the gate-18 finish.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 408 (spoiler-free)
- The orange-brown 4 and 1 cards are the opening keys; protect their returning holes.
- Add white 35, pink 24 and orange 35 only after a short opening route has returned.
- At gate 18, clear short white, orange and dark cards before another 35-count reserve card.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- The target is a pixel-art chef with a white hat, yellow face, red checks and trim, dark outline and a brown-orange wooden counter on the right. The successful run exposes orange-brown 4, 5, 5, 1 and 8 above white 35, pink 24, orange 35 and white 35.
- Goal
- Open the wooden counter, drain the gate, and clear the chef's hat, yellow face, red trim, apron details and dark outline.
- Opening
- Follow the successful run after the loading segment: tap orange-brown 4, then 5, 5, 1 and 8 as holes return. Wait for the short 4 and 1 routes before loading white 35, pink 24 or orange 35.
- Danger Zone
- Starting the visible 35-count cards together fills the five holes while the gate is above 100. The counter later holds at 18, so reserve a hole for the short 20, 14, 13 and final white cards.
- Mechanics
- The source has a loading/attempt segment before the successful board. In the successful route the gate drops through 128, 117 and 101, then holds at 18 while the chef separates into hat, face, wooden counter and detached outline fragments.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which part of the source should be followed?
Use the continuous successful Level 408 board after the loading segment; it is the run that keeps the chef visible through the final Colony Flow clear.
Why does the counter stop at 18?
The chef image has separated into short hat, face, counter and outline fragments. Clear those exposed short cards before starting another long reserve stack.
