Colony Flow! Level 51 Walkthrough

easy 4 colors

Colony Flow Level 51 is a sun-on-green-hill board where the yellow center, cyan sky rays, green base, and brown dirt outline all share one ant hole, and the four small active-row openers have to drain before the heavy yellow 36 source wave starts.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 51 — Full Solution

  1. Tap the yellow 12 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row. Yellow ants walk the dirt path up to the yellow sun center, and the center cells start clearing in the first beat. Wait for the first yellow ant to clear the dirt path before tapping the next stack. Do not tap the green 4, cyan 14, green 22, or any source row stack yet.
  2. Tap the green 4 stack in the second cell of the active row. Green ants walk the same dirt path and start clearing the lowest green hill cells at the bottom of the art. Yellow and green share the path, so leave one beat between them. Do not tap the cyan 14, green 22, or any source row stack yet.
  3. Tap the cyan 14 stack in the third cell of the active row. Cyan ants walk the dirt path and start clearing the blue sky rays above the sun. Green and cyan share the path, so leave one beat between the green wave and the cyan wave. Do not tap the green 22 or any source row stack yet.
  4. Tap the green 22 stack in the fourth cell of the active row. Green ants widen the green hill base. Cyan and green share the path, so leave one beat between the cyan wave and the green wave so the sky rays are at least half-cleared before the base expands. Do not tap the empty white buffer pad or any source row stack yet.
  5. Tap the yellow 36 stack in the second cell of source row 1 as it rises into the active row, then the brown 30 in the first cell, then the brown 32 in the third cell. Yellow ants flood the sun rays, and brown ants start tracing the brown dirt outline. Yellow, brown, and brown share the path, so leave one beat between each wave. Do not tap any source row 2 stack yet.
  6. Tap the green 2 stack in the second cell of source row 2, then the yellow 25 in the third cell, then the brown 22 in the fourth cell, then the cyan 20 in the fifth cell, then the green 20 in the sixth cell, as each one rises into the active row. Green, yellow, brown, cyan, and green share the path, so leave one beat between each wave.
  7. Tap the brown 30 stack in the first cell of source row 2 as it rises into the empty white buffer pad in the fifth cell of the active row, then finish with any late small yellow, green, and cyan cleanup refills that rise into the buffer pad. The board clears once the last matching cube is routed off and the level banner appears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Firing the brown 30 stack in source row 1 column 1 before the yellow 12, green 4, cyan 14, and green 22 active row waves have started clearing the sun and the hill base, which sends brown ants across the green hill that green still has to clear and stalls them on the remaining brown outline cells.
  • Tapping the yellow 36 in source row 1 column 2 while cyan ants are still walking the dirt path up to the blue sky rays, which strands the large yellow 36 wave behind cyan ants and blocks the late yellow 25 refill that needs to clear the last sun-center cells.
  • Letting the brown 30 from source row 2 rise into the empty white buffer pad before the yellow 36 and brown 32 source waves have cleared the sun perimeter, which strands the brown refill on the remaining outline cells and blocks the late green 20 cleanup wave.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 51 (spoiler-free)

  • Tap the yellow 12, green 4, cyan 14, and green 22 in that order from the active row before you touch any source row stack. The yellow sun center and the green hill base are the two highest-traffic regions on this board, and they have to start clearing together before the brown 30 or the yellow 36 source waves are allowed onto the dirt path.
  • Treat the empty white buffer pad in the fifth cell of the active row as the only staging space for the late brown 30 refill from source row 2 and the small green, cyan, and yellow cleanup refills. Filling it with a premature source click strands the cleanup waves and leaves the last sun-ray cells empty.
  • Leave one beat between every wave on this board. Yellow, green, cyan, and brown all share the same dirt path, so firing the next stack before the current ant clears the path is the fastest way to jam the route.

Layout
The board opens in portrait view. The top half holds a pixel-art sun/flower on a green hill: a bright yellow center block, blue pixel rays fanning across the upper sky, and a wide green grassy base at the bottom. Green text TOP GAMMER sits along the left edge of the art. Below the dirt strip the working area is a 5-cell top active row plus a 2-row source grid. The 5-cell active row opens as yellow 12, green 4, cyan 14, green 22, empty white buffer pad. Source row 1 reads brown 30, yellow 36, brown 32. Source row 2 reads brown 30, green 2, yellow 25, brown 22, cyan 20, green 20.
Goal
Yellow cubes from the yellow 12 active stack, the yellow 36 in source row 1, and the yellow 25 in source row 2 must clear the yellow sun center and the yellow highlight cells in the rays. Cyan cubes from the cyan 14 active stack and the cyan 20 in source row 2 must clear the blue sky rays. Green cubes from the green 4, green 22 active stacks, the green 2, and the green 20 in source row 2 must flood the green hill base. Brown cubes from the brown 30, brown 32, brown 30, and brown 22 source stacks must clear the brown dirt strip and the brown outline cells around the hill.
Opening
The run opens with the yellow 12 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row. Yellow 12 is the smallest yellow stack and the yellow sun center is the first color region the ant trail reaches, so opening with yellow 12 dispatches a yellow ant up the dirt path in the first beat. The second confirmed tap is the green 4 stack in the second cell — the smallest stack on the entire board — which starts clearing the lowest green hill cells. The third tap is the cyan 14 in the third cell to start the blue sky rays. The fourth tap is the green 22 in the fourth cell to widen the green base. The brown 30, yellow 36, brown 32, and every source row 2 stack are held for one beat so the four active row openers can clear the perimeter first.
Danger Zone
Most failed runs start at the brown 30 stack in the first cell of source row 1. Brown ants share the same dirt path as the yellow, green, and cyan ants, and if the player fires the brown 30 before the yellow 12, green 4, cyan 14, and green 22 active row waves have at least started clearing the sun and the hill base, brown ants cross the green hill that green still has to clear and stall on the remaining brown outline cells. Tapping the yellow 36 in source row 1 column 2 while cyan ants are still walking up to the blue sky rays is also bad, because the large yellow 36 wave strands behind cyan ants and blocks the late yellow 25 refill that needs to clear the last sun-center cells.
Mechanics
Level 51 is a multi-stack color-routing board combined with a pixel-art clear goal and a single ant hole, with a sun-on-green-hill scene. The 5-cell top active row plus the 2-row source grid makes this a compact 13-stack working area with exactly one empty white buffer pad. The sun pixel art has four main color families (yellow center and rays, cyan sky rays, green hill base, brown dirt outline) and the player has to stage all of them through one ant hole. Compared to Level 50's Hello Kitty portrait, this board is shorter on the source grid but forces the player to drain all four active row openers before any brown source wave is allowed onto the dirt path.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the safest first move in Colony Flow Level 51?

The safest opener is the yellow 12 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row, then the green 4 in the second cell, then the cyan 14 in the third cell, then the green 22 in the fourth cell. This dispatches four ants up the dirt path in that order and starts clearing the yellow sun center, the green hill base, and the blue sky rays together before the brown 30, yellow 36, or any source row 2 stack is allowed onto the dirt path.

  • Why does the brown 30 stack jam the route in Colony Flow Level 51?

The brown 30 stack in source row 1 column 1 is one of the first heavy brown waves on the board, and the brown dirt outline only sits in positions that are still open while the yellow 12, green 4, cyan 14, and green 22 active row waves are still clearing the sun and the hill. If brown ants are sent before those four openers have started their color regions, they stall on the remaining outline cells and block every later brown, yellow, and green refill that has to rise through the same dirt path.
