Colony Flow! Level 63 Walkthrough

medium 7 colors

Colony Flow Level 63 is a blue-bird portrait board where the pink accents, cyan head, dark-blue wing, and brown 43 blocks all share one trail, so the pink 8 and pink 12 openers have to clear before the dark 24 wing wave is sent.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 63 — Full Solution

  1. Tap the pink 8 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row. Pink ants walk the dirt path up to the pink accent cells along the lower edge of the blue bird, and the nearest pink accent cells start clearing in the first beat. Wait for the first pink ants to clear the dirt path before tapping the next stack. Do not tap the pink 12, black 9, cyan 36, dark 24, or any source row stack yet.
  2. Tap the pink 12 stack in the second cell of the active row. Pink ants walk the same dirt path and continue clearing the pink accent band around the bird. Leave one beat between the two pink waves so the lowest accent cells are mostly cleared before the next accent cells start clearing. Do not tap the black 9 or any source row stack yet.
  3. Tap the black 9 stack in the third cell of the active row. Black ants walk the dirt path and start clearing the black eye cell on the bird's head. Leave one beat between the last pink wave and the black wave so the pink accents are at least half-cleared before the eye starts clearing. Do not tap the empty white buffer pads or any source row stack yet.
  4. Tap the cyan 36 stack in the first cell of source row 1 as it rises into the empty white buffer pad in cell 4 of the active row, then the pink 45 in the second cell, then the cyan 43 in the third cell, then the dark blue 30 in the fourth cell. Cyan ants start flooding the light-cyan head cells, pink ants clear the last pink accent cells, and dark-blue ants start clearing the wing shading. Leave one beat between each wave so the pink accents are mostly cleared before the cyan head starts clearing. Do not tap source row 2 or 3 yet.
  5. Tap the cyan 40 stack in the first cell of source row 2, then the pink 40 in the second cell, then the cyan 36 in the third cell, as each one rises into the active row. Cyan ants clear the upper body cells, pink ants clear the pink highlight inside the body, and cyan ants continue the head flood. Leave one beat between each wave so the head is at least half-cleared before the body starts clearing. Do not tap the dark 24 yet.
  6. Tap the dark 24 stack in the fourth cell of source row 2 as it rises into the active row, then the beige 13 in the first cell of source row 3, then the pink 30 in the second cell, then the pink 45 in the third cell, then the dark 40 in the fourth cell. Dark-blue ants clear the wing and lower body shading, pink ants clear the last pink highlights, and dark-blue ants finish the lower body. Leave one beat between each wave so the cyan head is mostly cleared before the dark-blue wing starts clearing.
  7. Tap the late cyan, dark-blue, pink, white, yellow, and brown refill waves as they rise into the empty white buffer pads in the active row. White ants clear the belly stripe, yellow ants clear the beak and feet, and brown ants clear the two brown 43 blocks on the lower body. Leave one beat between each refill so the small cleanup ants do not stall on the remaining wing cells.
  8. Finish by draining the last small cyan, pink, white, yellow, and brown cleanup refills into whichever empty white buffer pad is open. The board clears once the last matching cube is routed off and the level banner appears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Firing the dark 24 stack in source row 2 column 4 before the pink 8, pink 12, and black 9 active row waves have cleared the perimeter of the blue bird, which sends dark-blue ants across the pink accents that pink still has to clear and stalls them on the remaining wing cells, blocking the dark 40 in source row 3 that needs to clear the rest of the wing.
  • Tapping the cyan 43 stack in source row 1 column 3 while pink ants are still walking the dirt path up to the pink accent cells, which strands cyan ants on the remaining head cells and blocks the cyan 40 in source row 2 plus the late cyan refill waves that need to clear the upper body.
  • Letting the pink 45 stack in source row 1 column 2 rise into the active row before the black 9 wave has at least started clearing the eye, which strands pink ants on the remaining accent cells and blocks the smaller pink refills that need to clear the rest of the pink highlight band.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 63 (spoiler-free)

  • Tap the pink 8, pink 12, and black 9 in that order from the active row before you touch the cyan 36 in source row 1, the pink 45, or the dark 24 in source row 2. The pink accents and the black eye are the two highest-traffic color regions on the blue bird, and they have to clear together before the cyan head or the dark-blue wing is allowed onto the dirt path.
  • Treat the active row as the opener queue and the 3-row, 4-column source grid as the supply. The active row has two empty white buffer pads in cells 4 and 5 at the start, so drain the pink 8, pink 12, and black 9 first, then walk source row 1 left to right, then source row 2 left to right but hold the dark 24 until the cyan 36 and pink 45 waves have cleared, then drain source row 3 left to right.
  • Save the empty white buffer pads for the late cleanup refills. The video shows those pads being filled with rising small cyan, dark-blue, pink, white, yellow, and brown refills in quick succession. Filling a buffer pad with a dark 24 or cyan 43 source click strands the refill waves and leaves the brown 43 blocks, the white belly, and the yellow beak empty.

Layout
The board opens in portrait view. The top half of the screen holds a pixel-art blue bird portrait on a pink grid: a light-cyan head and upper body, a darker blue wing and lower body, a white belly stripe, a yellow beak and two yellow feet, a black eye with a white highlight, two brown rectangular blocks each stamped with white 43 digits on the lower body, and green TOP GAMMER text running down the left side of the grid. Below the dirt strip the working area is a 5-cell top active row plus a 3-row, 4-column source grid. The 5-cell top active row opens as pink 8, pink 12, black 9, empty white buffer pad, empty white buffer pad. Source row 1 reads cyan 36, pink 45, cyan 43, dark blue 30. Source row 2 reads cyan 40, pink 40, cyan 36, dark 24. Source row 3 reads beige 13, pink 30, pink 45, dark 40.
Goal
Cyan cubes from the cyan 36, cyan 43, cyan 40, and cyan 36 stacks in source rows 1 and 2 plus the late cyan refills must clear the light-cyan head and upper body cells. Dark-blue cubes from the dark blue 30 in source row 1, the dark 24 in source row 2, and the dark 40 in source row 3 plus the late dark-blue refills must clear the darker blue wing and lower body shading. Pink cubes from the pink 8 and pink 12 in the active row, the pink 45, pink 40, pink 30, and pink 45 stacks in the source grid, and the late pink refills must clear the pink accent cells around the bird. Black cubes from the black 9 in the active row plus the late black refills must clear the black eye cell. White cubes from the late white refills must clear the white belly stripe and the white eye highlight. Yellow cubes from the late yellow refills must clear the yellow beak and the two yellow feet. Brown cubes from the late brown refills must clear the two brown 43 blocks on the lower body.
Opening
The video opens on the pink 8 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row. Pink 8 is the smallest numbered stack in the active row and the pink accent cells along the lower edge of the bird are the first color region the ant trail reaches from the ant hole, so opening with pink 8 dispatches pink ants up the dirt path in the first beat and the nearest pink accent cells start clearing immediately. The second confirmed tap is the pink 12 stack in the second cell of the active row, which sends another pink wave up the same dirt path and continues clearing the pink accent band. The third confirmed tap is the black 9 stack in the third cell of the active row, which sends black ants up the dirt path and starts clearing the black eye cell. The cyan 36 in source row 1 column 1 and the dark 24 in source row 2 column 4 are held for one beat so the three active row opener waves can clear the perimeter of the bird before the body colors pile in. The empty white buffer pads in cells 4 and 5 of the active row are kept open so the source row refills can rise cleanly as the first three stacks drain.
Danger Zone
Most failed runs start at the dark 24 stack in the fourth cell of source row 2. The dark-blue wing shading is one of the largest color regions in the picture, and dark-blue ants share the same dirt path as the pink and cyan ants. If the player fires the dark 24 before the pink 8, pink 12, and black 9 active row waves have cleared the perimeter of the blue bird, dark-blue ants cross the pink accents that pink still has to clear and stall on the remaining wing cells, blocking the dark 40 in source row 3 plus the late dark-blue refill waves that need to clear the rest of the wing and lower body. The other trap is tapping the cyan 43 stack in source row 1 column 3 while pink ants are still walking the dirt path up to the pink accent cells, because cyan ants share the same dirt path as pink ants and a premature cyan click strands cyan ants on the remaining head cells and blocks the cyan 40 in source row 2 plus the late cyan refill waves that need to clear the upper body. Tapping the pink 45 stack in source row 1 column 2 before the black 9 wave has at least started clearing the eye is also bad, because the large pink 45 flood stalls on the remaining accent cells and blocks the smaller pink refills behind it.
Mechanics
Level 63 is a multi-stack color-routing board combined with a pixel-art clear goal and a single ant hole, with a blue-bird-on-pink-grid scene. The 5-cell top active row plus the 3-row, 4-column source grid makes this a 17-stack working area with exactly two empty white buffer pads, so almost every tap immediately changes a route. The blue bird pixel art has seven main color families (light-cyan head and upper body, dark-blue wing shading, pink accents, black eye, white belly, yellow beak and feet, brown 43 blocks) plus the late refill waves, and the player has to keep all of those routes staged at once. The two empty white buffer pads are the only true staging space here, so the last small cyan, dark-blue, pink, white, yellow, and brown refill waves still need a clean delivery after the bottom of the source grid looks clear. Compared to Level 49's 2-tier character portrait, this bird board starts with three small active row stacks and forces the player to drain those three openers before any large cyan or dark-blue source wave is allowed onto the dirt path.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the safest first move in Colony Flow Level 63?

The safest opener is the pink 8 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row, then the pink 12 stack in the second cell, then the black 9 stack in the third cell. This dispatches the pink and black ants up the dirt path in that order and clears the pink accents and the black eye together before the cyan 36 in source row 1, the pink 45, or the dark 24 in source row 2 is allowed onto the dirt path. Tap the cyan 36 and the rest of source row 1 only after the three active row waves have cleared, and hold the dark 24 until the cyan head is at least half-cleared.

  • Why does the dark 24 stack jam the route in Colony Flow Level 63?

The dark 24 stack in source row 2 column 4 is the only stack in the source grid that can clear the dark-blue wing shading across the lower body of the blue bird, and the wing is one of the largest color regions in the picture. Dark-blue ants use the same dirt path as the pink 8, pink 12, and black 9 ants, so a premature dark-blue click sends dark-blue ants across the pink accents that pink still has to clear, they stall on the remaining wing cells, and the dark 40 in source row 3 plus the late dark-blue refill waves get stranded behind active pink ants on the dirt path. Tap the dark 24 only after the three active row waves have all started clearing their color regions.
