Magic Sort level guide
Magic Sort Level 213 Walkthrough
Magic Sort Level 213 is a three-tier cork-and-magic release board of fourteen bottles — five tall mixers plus a small corked green bottle on the top row, and eight cream/white magic bottles underneath (four pre-filled purple, three pre-filled green, one pre-filled red). Pop the green cork first to bank a real green lane in the top row, peel the top purple-on-green and red-on-green mixers into clean purple and red lanes, then route the eight pre-filled magic colors into those three lanes without burning a single magic bottle to a mixed lock.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 213 — Full Solution
- Tap the small green cork at top-right, then peel the green off the top-left purple-on- green mixer and pour it onto the cork. The cork pops and the top-right slot becomes a full-green sort bottle.
- Pour the purple from the top-left mixer onto the empty top-fifth slot to start a clean purple lane at col 5.
- Peel the green off the top-second red-on-green mixer and pour it onto the top-right green bottle to grow the green lane.
- Pour the red from the top-second mixer onto the top-first slot (now empty) to start a clean red lane at col 1.
- Route the pre-filled purple at middle 1 onto the top-fifth purple lane, the pre-filled purple at middle 2 onto the same purple lane, the pre-filled purple at bottom 3 onto the same purple lane, and the pre-filled purple at bottom 4 onto the same purple lane — collapsing all four pre-filled purples into the single purple lane.
- Route the pre-filled green at middle 3, the pre-filled green at bottom 1, and the pre- filled green at bottom 2 onto the top-right green lane, then route the pre-filled red at middle 4 onto the top-first red lane. The eight magic bottles are now empty and ready to act as a working buffer pool.
- Use the freed top-third and top-fourth slots plus the eight emptied magic bottles to bank pink, blue, orange, cyan, yellow and gray lanes by draining any remaining mixed top sorters and shifting their tops onto matching stacks.
- Top off pink, red, red, blue, purple, green, orange, cyan, yellow and gray so all eleven filled bottles end on a single color, with the middle col 1 and bottom cols 1–2 left as the final three empties.
Colors in this level:
Purple, Red, Green, Pink, Blue, Orange, Cyan, Yellow, Gray
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Pouring any color other than green into the small top-right cork, which locks the cork and burns the only green trigger on the board.
- Pouring a non-purple color into one of the four pre-filled purple magic bottles, which locks that magic slot and strands the pre-filled purple where it sits.
- Draining the top-second red-on-green mixer before the green cork is popped, which strands the green segment on top of the red and forces you to re-route it through a locked magic bottle.
Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 213 (spoiler-free)
- Pop the small green cork at top-right in the very first move so the released green drops into a real green lane before the top mixers get stranded.
- Collapse all four pre-filled purple magic bottles onto the single top-fifth purple lane in a row, then do the same for the three pre-filled green magic bottles onto the top-right green lane — never let two colors share a magic bottle.
- Save the pre-filled red magic bottle at middle 4 for last so it ends the puzzle as the red lane and you keep a single-color magic slot until the very end.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A three-tier board of fourteen bottles with no wraps, boxes, frozen tiles or tunnels. Top row is five tall mixers (purple-on-green at col 1, red-on-green at col 2, three empty mixers at cols 3–5) plus a small corked green bottle at col 6 with a green cap and a tiny green segment already showing under the cork. Middle row is four tall cream/white magic bottles — col 1 pre-filled purple, col 2 pre-filled purple, col 3 pre-filled green, col 4 pre-filled red. Bottom row is four tall cream/white magic bottles — col 1 pre-filled green, col 2 pre-filled green, col 3 pre-filled purple, col 4 pre-filled purple. Three empty top mixers to start; the eight magic bottles are all pre-filled with one color each, so no truly empty magic overflow.
- Goal
- Pop the small green cork at top-right with its matching green, peel the top-left purple-on-green mixer into a clean purple lane and the top-second red-on-green mixer into a clean red lane, then collapse the four pre-filled purple magic bottles onto the purple lane, the three pre-filled green magic bottles onto the green lane, and the pre-filled red magic bottle onto the red lane. The chokepoint is that each magic bottle can absorb only its own pre-filled color — the moment a different color lands in one, it locks into a mixed sort bottle and the board loses one of its eight overflow slots.
- Opening
- Tap the small green cork at top-right, then peel the green off the top-left purple-on-green mixer and pour it onto the cork — the cork pops, the released green drops in, and the top-right slot becomes a full-green sort bottle. Pour the purple from the same top-left mixer onto the empty top-fifth slot to start a clean purple lane. Peel the green off the top-second red-on-green mixer and pour it onto the top-right green bottle to grow the green lane. Pour the red from the same top-second mixer onto the top-first slot to start a clean red lane.
- Danger Zone
- The four pre-filled purple magic bottles (middle 1, middle 2, bottom 3, bottom 4) are the most expensive overflow on the board — pouring any non-purple color into one locks the bottle, costs a magic slot, and strands the pre-filled purple where it sits. The three pre-filled green magic bottles (middle 3, bottom 1, bottom 2) lock the same way on any non-green pour. The single pre-filled red magic bottle at middle 4 is the one slot that needs to survive as a red lane, so do not route purple or green into it on the way through. Pouring any color other than green into the small top-right cork also locks the cork and burns the first unlock.
- Mechanics
- A cork plus eight magic-bottle release board on a tidy three-tier frame. The cork at top-right is the obvious gimmick, but the real test is the eight cream/white magic bottles underneath — each pre-filled with one color, each one pour away from a mixed lock. The puzzle is a cork-on-top, magic-bottles-underneath sandwich — open the cork first to bank a real green lane, then run the top mixers through the magic bottles in an order that keeps every pre-fill single-color until the very last move.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you pop the small corked green bottle in Magic Sort Level 213?
Tap the cork at top-right, then peel the green segment off the top-left purple-on-green mixer and pour it onto the cork. The cork pops, the released green drops into the bottle, and the top-right slot becomes a full-green sort bottle. Green is the only trigger color — pouring purple, red or any other color into the cork locks it and burns the only unlock on the board.
Why must all four pre-filled purple magic bottles drain onto one purple lane in Level 213?
Each magic bottle is locked the moment a second color lands in it, so the four pre- filled purple magic bottles (middle 1, middle 2, bottom 3, bottom 4) have to be drained onto the top-fifth purple lane in a row. Any non-purple pour into one of them locks the bottle and strands the pre-filled purple, which costs the board one of its eight overflow slots and usually forces a re-route through a mixed sort bottle.
