Magic Sort level guide
Magic Sort Level 410 Walkthrough
Magic Sort Level 410 is a tidy two-tier, eleven-position cork-release sort with four clean single-color mixers (red, orange, green, blue) and one purple/gray/gray mixer at T1 on the top row, a corked gray bottle at T6 that hides gray, and five single-color buffers (pink, yellow, gray, blue, green) on the bottom row. Pop the T6 cork with the blue from T5 so the hidden gray enters the sort, drain the four clean single-color mixers through the matching bottom buffers, then merge the released gray and the two T1 grays into a single bottle.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 410 — Full Solution
- Pour the blue top off T5 (blue/blue/blue) down onto the gray cork stamp at T6 so the cork pops and the hidden gray enters the sort as a fresh gray-top bottle.
- Pour the blue middle and blue base off T5 onto the B4 blue-top so blue banks to a clean full blue bottle through the bottom row and T5 collapses into a buffer slot.
- Pour the green tops off T4 down onto the B5 green-top so green banks to a clean full green bottle and T4 collapses into a buffer slot.
- Pour the orange tops off T3 down onto the freed T5 slot to open an orange shuttle on the right of the top row, then pour the red tops off T2 down onto the freed T4 slot to open a red shuttle.
- Pour the purple top off T1 onto the cork-released T6 gray-top so purple parks on top of gray and T1 is left with the two grays that need to merge with B3.
- Pour the two grays off T1 onto the B3 gray-top so all three grays collapse into a single gray bottle, then pour the parked T6 purple onto the freed T1 slot to bank purple into its own bottle.
- Pour the parked T4 red shuttle onto the T2 red lane to finish red, pour the parked T5 orange shuttle onto the T3 orange lane to finish orange, and pour the B2 yellow-top into a freed buffer to bank yellow into its own bottle.
- Top off purple, gray, red, orange, green, blue, yellow and pink each into a single bottle so all eleven positions end on a single color with no corks left.
Colors in this level:
Purple, Gray, Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Pink, Yellow
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Pouring any color other than blue onto the T6 cork stamp, which keeps the cork sealed and strands the mismatched color on top of it.
- Pouring the purple off T1 into a bottle that already holds blue, green or orange, which strands the only purple source on the board under a mismatched stack.
- Pouring the grays off T1 or T6 into a buffer that is supposed to hold pink, yellow or red, which splits the gray count across two stacks and prevents the gray lane from ever banking to a full bottle.
Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 410 (spoiler-free)
- Pour the blue top off T5 onto the T6 cork stamp first so the hidden gray enters the sort before you touch any other mixer.
- Use the bottom-row B4 blue-top and B5 green-top as the blue and green anchors — pour the matching tops off T5 and T4 onto them before you start opening top-row shuttles.
- Pour the purple off T1 onto the cork-released T6 gray-top and the two grays off T1 onto the B3 gray-top, so purple and gray each bank into their own single-color bottle in one move each.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Two tiers, eleven bottle positions, no spray cans, no wooden vaults, no magic overflow, no wraps, no frozen tiles and no white star flasks. The top row is six bottles — T1 a purple/gray/gray three-segment mixer, T2 a red/red/red three-segment mixer, T3 an orange/orange/orange three-segment mixer, T4 a green/green/green three-segment mixer, T5 a blue/blue/blue three-segment mixer, and T6 a small corked bottle parked on the far right with a gray cork stamp hiding its content. The bottom row is five near-empty buffers — B1 pink-top, B2 yellow-top, B3 gray-top, B4 blue-top, and B5 green-top — each holding exactly one matching layer. The T6 cork is the only special tile on the board, and T1 is the only top-row mixer that does not start as a clean single color.
- Goal
- Pop the T6 cork with the matching blue from T5 so the hidden gray enters the sort, then drain the four clean single-color mixers (T2 red, T3 orange, T4 green, T5 blue) and the messy T1 purple/gray/gray mixer top-down through the five bottom buffers until all eleven positions end on a single color. The real chokepoint is the gray lane — the cork at T6 hides the gray you need to merge with T1's two grays and B3's gray-top, so the cork has to be popped with the exact matching blue and the released gray has to land on a clean target.
- Opening
- Pour the blue top off T5 (blue/blue/blue) down onto the gray cork stamp at T6 so the cork pops and the hidden gray enters the sort as a fresh gray-top bottle. Pour the blue middle and blue base off T5 onto the B4 blue-top to build a clean blue lane through the bottom row. Pour the green tops off T4 down onto the B5 green-top to grow the green lane, and pour the orange tops off T3 down onto the freed T5 slot to open an orange shuttle on the right of the top row.
- Danger Zone
- Pour any color other than blue onto the T6 cork stamp and the cork stays sealed while the mismatched color strands on top of it, burning the only free top-row slot you need to receive the hidden gray. Pour the purple off T1 into the same bottle that already holds blue, green or orange and you strand the only purple source on the board under a mismatched stack with no spare slot to recover it. Pour the gray off T1 or T6 into a buffer that is supposed to hold pink, yellow or red and the gray count splits across two stacks so the gray lane can never bank to a full bottle.
- Mechanics
- A two-tier, eleven-position cork-release board on an otherwise tidy sort. The cork at T6 is the only special tile and its reveal is the gateway to finishing the gray lane, but every other top-row color already starts as a clean single-color mixer, so the puzzle is really cork first, drain the four clean mixers through the matching bottom buffers, then merge the released gray and the two T1 grays into a single bottle. No vaults, no spray cans, no magic overflow, no wraps, no frozen tiles, no white star flasks — the only twist is the cork reveal and the gray merge.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you open the corked bottle at T6 in Magic Sort Level 410?
Pour the blue top off T5 (blue/blue/blue) down onto the gray cork stamp at T6. The cork pops, the hidden gray enters the sort as a fresh gray-top bottle, and T5 collapses into a buffer slot that you can reuse for the orange shuttle in the next move.
Why is the gray lane the real chokepoint in Level 410?
The board has four separate gray segments — two in T1, one hidden inside the T6 cork, and one on top of B3 — and the only way to bank them into a single bottle is to pop the cork with the exact matching blue, then pour the released gray on top of T6 and the two T1 grays on top of B3. Pour any gray into a buffer that is supposed to hold pink, yellow or red and the gray count splits across two stacks with no way to recover it before the bottom row fills up.
