Meowdoku Level 4 Walkthrough

medium 5 colors

Meowdoku Level 4 hides its main trap in the top brown strip. The top lime single square is forced, the right-edge cat stays fixed, the purple square resolves the middle, and the lower pink block only closes after the final bottom-left cat is revealed.

Board Notes

Layout
This 5x5 board uses a broad brown region across the top three rows and down the right edge, with a lime single square in the top row third column, a purple square at row three, column two, and a large pink-magenta lower half. One cat is already fixed on the far-right square of row two.
Goal
The solve hinges on keeping the top-row brown decoy empty so the lime single can take its only legal cat. Once that is done, the purple square and the interior pink square separate the lower-left and lower-right parts of the big pink region cleanly.
Opening
Lock the lime square in the top row third column first, then preserve the fixed cat on the far-right side of row two. After that, place the purple square at row three, column two before touching the lower pink half.
Danger Zone
The brown square on the top row second column is the obvious trap. It looks close to the lime square, but placing a cat there kills the spacing needed for both the top row and the final bottom-left pink finish.
Mechanics
Level 4 is about refusing the wrong top-row square and delaying the large lower region until upper columns settle. The board does not finish from color counting alone.

Quick Tips for Meowdoku Level 4 (spoiler-free)

  • If a large region spans the entire bottom of the board, solve the tight single squares above it first and let the last row reveal itself.
  • With 5 colors in play, clear the pair with the fewest blockers first so the board opens up instead of tightening.
  • If the board feels stuck, look for the color with the cleanest path and use that to regain space.
