Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 353 Walkthrough
Level 353 carries the game's Hard label and runs on a 2:30 clock. A shutter marked 5 hides the lower board and an ice cap marked 2 seals the cyan outlet; both count down on the same clears. After the shutter lifts, a crate under the right-hand yellow outlet decides the finish, and the board was cleared with the timer reading 0:00.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 353 — Full Solution
- At about 2:30 on the timer the brown upright rises into the c4 outlet and takes its brown sand (41% at 2:29). Drag the white bar under the white stream; it clears at 2:27, leaving the shutter at 4 and the ice cap at 1.
- From about 2:26 to 2:12 shuffle the upper rows: move the yellow and orange uprights to the left and slide the white L across to c4.
- At about 2:11 the white L fills and clears; the shutter reads 3 and the ice on the cyan outlet breaks at 2:10.
- At about 2:09 feed cyan pieces under c1-c2: a cyan cube at 64% clears by 2:04 (shutter 2) and another is 100% at 2:01 (shutter 1). The left pipe now shows magenta above the cyan.
- At about 1:52 stand the cyan upright under the cyan outlet. It clears at 1:51, the shutter lifts and the lower board appears, with a second crate marked 3 in the middle and a magenta bar with a double arrow at the bottom.
- From about 1:50 to 1:35 rearrange the upper board: park the white uprights on the left, move the big blue squares down and keep c4 clear. At 1:34 a white upright under c4 fills and clears at 1:33.
- At about 1:32 the c4 stream turns brown. Keep sorting blue, yellow and purple pieces around the lower board until about 1:01, when the brown double-arrow upright slides up under c4 and fills (100% at 1:00).
- At about 0:58 the stream turns orange: fill the orange clock cubes under c4. The first clear pushes the timer from 0:57 back to 1:05, a second one follows near 1:04, and the orange bar and cubes keep clearing through the repeated minute.
- At about 0:51 the middle crate empties. Another clock cube clears at about 0:49 and the timer jumps back to about 0:53.
- At about 0:24 slide the magenta double-arrow bar up under the left outlet; it takes the magenta and the left stream turns blue. A blue L starts at 0:23 and a blue bar is 100% at 0:22; the blue 2x2 is 59% at 0:20 and clears by 0:18.
- At about 0:17 start pulling pieces from the lower-right crate: its orange bar goes under c4 (74% at 0:16, cleared by 0:15), then the badge drops to 1 at 0:14 and the crate is empty at 0:13.
- At about 0:09 a yellow L goes under the now-open yellow outlet (8%, then 100% at 0:08). The blue Z clears at the left outlet by 0:05, and the yellow bar is 100% at 0:05 and a yellow upright at 0:04.
- At about 0:03 the tube switches to purple: a purple bar is 100% at 0:02 and the last purple upright fills as the timer reaches 0:00, clearing the board.
Colors in this level:
Cyan, White, Brown, Orange, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Magenta
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Leaving the lower-right crate untouched. The yellow and purple at the end of the right tube cannot land anywhere until it is gone.
- Trying to slide a double-arrow piece sideways. It only moves up and down, so its column above must be emptied.
- Clearing the orange clock cubes before the orange stream reaches c4, or leaving them buried when it does; they are the only way to win back time.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 353 (quick clues)
- The 5 on the shutter and the 2 on the ice drop together on every clear, so the ice always breaks three clears before the shutter lifts.
- Pieces with a double arrow stay in their column. Clear the cells above them first so they can rise to their outlet, as the brown upright did at c4.
- Save the orange clock cubes for when the orange stream runs. Each one pushed the timer back by about five seconds.
- Empty the lower-right crate as soon as the shutter is up; the yellow outlet above it cannot fill anything until it is gone.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Six columns. At the top, an ice-capped cyan outlet over c1-c2 (cap 2) and a small outlet at c4 that starts with brown sand and is fed by a pipe carrying white, then brown, then orange. The upper five rows hold white L and white bar pieces, blue bars, cyan, yellow and orange uprights, orange cubes stamped with a +5 clock, and a brown upright marked with a double arrow. A purple shutter marked 5 covers c1-c5 below; down the right side a bent pipe fills a tube of purple over yellow that ends in a yellow outlet above a crate marked 3.
- Goal
- Clear five times to lift the shutter, then work the lower board of blue, yellow, purple and magenta pieces while the side pipes change colour, and empty the crate under the yellow outlet so the last yellow and purple can be caught.
- Opening
- The brown upright takes the brown already in the c4 outlet (41% at 2:29). A white bar under the white stream clears at 2:27, dropping the shutter to 4 and the ice to 1; a white L clears at 2:11, taking the shutter to 3 and cracking the ice at 2:10.
- Danger Zone
- The crate marked 3 sits directly under the yellow outlet, so no yellow can be collected until its three pieces are pulled out. They came out only at 0:17-0:13 and the last receiver cleared at 0:00; pulling them earlier is the main place to save time.
- Mechanics
- Global clear counter on the shutter and the ice cap; pieces marked with a double arrow slide only up and down in their column; orange clock cubes add five seconds when they clear; the left outlet runs cyan, magenta, then blue; the right tube runs yellow, then purple.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did the ice and the shutter both change on one clear?
They share one count. The white bar at 2:27 took the shutter from 5 to 4 and the ice from 2 to 1; the ice broke at 2:10 and the shutter lifted at 1:51.
What do the orange cubes with a clock do?
They add five seconds when they clear. The timer jumped back from 0:57 to 1:05, again near 1:04, and from about 0:49 to 0:53.
Why is the yellow outlet on the right not filling anything?
The crate marked 3 is sitting under it. Pull out its three pieces (orange, then two more) and the cells under the yellow outlet open up.
