Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 356 Walkthrough
Level 356 is poured by two wall tanks that sit side by side in the middle of a six-column board, with a centre dispenser between them and a shutter marked 7 hiding the top half. Seven clears lift the shutter; the dispenser, once emptied, becomes the only channel that lets the upper pieces drop down to the tanks' catch cells.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 356 — Full Solution
- At about 2:15 on the timer the green L under the left tank fills and clears at 2:14; the shutter drops from 7 to 6 and the left tank turns magenta.
- Between about 2:13 and 1:34, shuffle the lower board: lift the black vertical out of c3, slide the cyan L down and away from c5-c6 r7, and line the blue 1x1s up in row 7.
- At about 1:33 push two blue 1x1s under the right tank; both clear and the shutter reads 4 at 1:32.
- At about 1:27 bring the other two blue 1x1s to c5-c6 r7; they are 100% at 1:26 and the shutter falls to 3, then 2 at 1:25 as the right tank turns purple.
- At about 1:23 stand the magenta vertical at c2 r7-r8 under the left tank; it clears and the shutter reads 1 at 1:22.
- At about 1:21 pull pieces from the centre dispenser: a black vertical (badge 2), a purple vertical at 1:19 (badge 1) and a cyan 1x1 (empty at 1:18). The dispenser disappears, leaving c3-c4 r5-r6 open.
- At about 1:15 park the purple vertical under the right tank: 40% at 1:15, 75% at 1:14, cleared at 1:13. The shutter lifts and reveals the top half with a second dispenser marked 3 in the top-left corner.
- At about 1:03 drop the red bar and cyan bar out of the centre shaft, then bring the purple bar down to c5-c6 r7: 5% at 0:58, 100% at 0:57. The right tank turns red.
- At about 0:56 feed the two red bars down the shaft to the right tank (100% at 0:56 and 0:55), then the magenta bar to the left tank (42% at 0:53, cleared at 0:52).
- At about 0:48 the upper magenta vertical fills at c1 r7-r8 and clears at 0:47; the left tank turns yellow. Fill the yellow verticals (58% at 0:46) and the yellow L, which clears at 0:43.
- At about 0:41 walk the red L down to c5-c6 r7-r8; it is 100% at 0:39 and the right tank turns cyan. Clear the cyan bar (0:38), the cyan 1x1 and the cyan square (100% at 0:36).
- At about 0:35 the corner dispenser releases a white L (badge 2), a cyan L (badge 1, 87% at 0:33 under the right tank) and a yellow square (badge 0 at 0:32). The square is 100% at 0:31 under the left tank.
- At about 0:30 the left tank pours white into the white L and the right tank pours black into the black bar (31%) and the two black verticals; the last pieces are full at 0:27 and the board clears at 0:26.
Colors in this level:
Green, Magenta, Blue, Cyan, Purple, Red, Yellow, White, Black
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Trying to fill blue before the cyan L has left c5-c6 r7; the right tank has nowhere to pour.
- Parking the magenta vertical under the right tank or leaving it in c4 when the left tank is still magenta.
- Leaving the red and cyan bars in the old dispenser space after 1:17; it is the only route from the top half to the tanks.
- Filling the white L or black pieces too early; neither tank offers those colours until after 0:32.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 356 (quick clues)
- The shutter counts every clear, not just one colour: green, four blues, the magenta vertical and the first purple vertical take it from 7 to 0.
- Watch each tank's side pipe; it shows the next colour before the tank refills.
- Once the centre dispenser is empty, treat c3-c4 r5-r6 as an elevator shaft and keep it clear.
- Keep the three black pieces low; the right tank does not turn black until the very end.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Six columns by ten rows once fully revealed. A shutter marked 7 covers r1-r4. The left tank (c1-c2 r5-r6) starts green, the right tank (c5-c6 r5-r6) starts blue, and an orange dispenser marked 3 fills c3-c4 r5-r6 between them. Below: green L at c1-c2 r7 plus c2 r8, black vertical c3 r7-r8, magenta vertical c4 r7-r8, cyan L at c5-c6 r7 plus c6 r8, blue 1x1s at c1 r8, c5 r8, c2 r9 and c6 r10, yellow vertical c1 r9-r10, red bar c3-c4 r9, cyan bars at c5-c6 r9 and c2-c3 r10, black bar c4-c5 r10.
- Goal
- Each tank pours only into the cells straight below it (c1-c2 r7 and c5-c6 r7), and each switches colour after a batch. Clear the four blue 1x1s, the magenta vertical and a purple vertical to count the shutter down, then bring the upper pieces down through the empty centre to finish.
- Opening
- The green L already sits under the left tank: it fills and clears at about 2:14, taking the shutter from 7 to 6. The left tank turns magenta, and the next forty seconds are spent sliding pieces around so the blue 1x1s can reach c5-c6 r7.
- Danger Zone
- The cyan L starts across c5-c6 r7, the right tank's only catch row, and nothing blue can fill until it is slid out of the way. Later, the red and cyan bars that move into the emptied dispenser space block the only passage between the upper and lower halves; drop them out of c3-c4 r5-r6 before trying to bring upper pieces down.
- Mechanics
- Clear-counting shutter (every clear lowers it by one), two pipe-fed tanks that change colour between batches, a centre dispenser that releases a black vertical, a purple vertical and a cyan 1x1 and then disappears, and a corner dispenser in the revealed half that releases a white L, a cyan L and a yellow square.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the 7 on the shutter count?
Clears. The green L, four blue 1x1s, the magenta vertical and the purple vertical bring it from 7 to 0, and it lifts at about 1:13 on the timer.
What is the orange box between the two tanks?
A dispenser holding three pieces: a black vertical, a purple vertical and a cyan 1x1. Once it is empty it vanishes, and that space becomes the channel between the upper and lower halves.
Which colours does each tank pour?
The left tank pours green, magenta, yellow and finally white. The right tank pours blue, purple, red, cyan and finally black.
