Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 362 Walkthrough

expert 11 colors

Level 362 is a rounded chamber with two hoppers on top and a side pipe on each flank. A sheet of ice marked 4 covers the whole lower middle and loses one point per clear, so four quick clears shatter it at about 2:13 on the timer. The last three receivers, a blue, a cyan and a purple cross, come out of a crate at the bottom.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 362 — Full Solution

  1. At about 2:25 on the timer, the purple bar under the right hopper fills and clears. The ice drops from 4 to 3.
  2. Slide the red bar across into the top row and move the green and yellow bars on the left. At about 2:19 a yellow bar under the left hopper is full, and the ice drops to 2 as pink sand starts to cover the yellow.
  3. At about 2:15 another clear takes the ice to 1. The next clear at about 2:13 shatters the whole sheet and opens the middle of the board.
  4. At about 2:11 a magenta bar under the left hopper fills. Keep shuffling the red, orange and green bars out of the upper-left corner.
  5. From about 1:54, park red pieces against the right wall so the red side pipe can fill them; a red upright is at 67% at about 1:54.
  6. Between about 1:38 and 1:28, lift the magenta cross out of the middle and drag it under the left hopper. It fills from 12% at about 1:24 to 99% at 1:22 and clears at about 1:21.
  7. The left hopper now holds black. A black upright takes the first of it at about 1:19, and a black L is full at about 1:14 and clears at 1:13.
  8. Brown follows in the left hopper. A brown upright is at 48% at about 1:10 and a small brown block is full at about 1:04. On the right, a red L reaches 70% at about 1:06, and the right side pipe switches to orange.
  9. Drop an orange small beside the right wall; it is full at about 0:59. Finish the brown with an upright under the left hopper, which reaches 100% at about 0:57, and clear a purple small under the right hopper at about 0:54.
  10. Move to the left side pipe: a small white block is full at about 0:53 and a white bar at about 0:52. The left pipe turns cyan.
  11. Open the crate: the blue cross comes out at about 0:51 (badge 2) and the cyan cross at about 0:49 (badge 1). Set the cyan cross against the left wall; it is at 82% at about 0:46 and clears at 0:45.
  12. Take the purple cross, the last crate piece, and set it under the right hopper at about 0:44. It climbs from 19% at 0:43 to 99% at 0:38 and clears at about 0:37.
  13. The right pipe sends green: a green L and a green bar take it by about 0:35. Then blue arrives. A blue upright is full at about 0:33, and the blue cross from the crate goes from 65% at 0:32 to 100% at about 0:31, which clears the board.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Crowding the upper left with spare bars after the ice breaks. The magenta cross then cannot reach the left hopper, and the pink, black and brown layers stay trapped.
  • Putting receivers in the middle of the board and waiting for the side pipes. Red, orange, white and cyan only fill pieces pushed right up against the left and right walls.
  • Using the crate crosses too early. The blue, cyan and purple crosses match the last three loads, so pulling them out before the side pipes turn cyan leaves them blocking the floor.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 362 (quick clues)

  • Go for four fast clears first. The ice counts down once per clear, and breaking it early frees most of the board's receivers.
  • Leave room in the upper left for the magenta cross. It is the only pink receiver and needs to sit under the left hopper.
  • The side pipes only fill pieces placed right against them. Park a small receiver beside the right wall for red and orange, and beside the left wall for white and cyan.
  • Open the crate once the side pipes are running cyan. Its three crosses are exactly what the cyan pipe and the right hopper need at the end.

Layout
Two hoppers sit at the top: the left one starts with yellow sand under a pink pipe, the right one holds purple sand under a purple pipe. A white pipe enters the left wall and a red pipe enters the right wall halfway down. The upper rows are packed with bars: red, magenta, green, grey, two yellow, orange, a purple bar under the right hopper and a blue upright on the right edge. Below them an ice sheet marked 4 on every tile covers the centre, hiding a magenta cross, blue and green uprights, brown Ls, black pieces, small purple blocks and orange smalls. A crate marked 3 sits in the bottom centre with a blue piece showing.
Goal
Crack the ice with four early clears, then drain the left hopper through yellow, pink, black and brown, the right side pipe through red and orange, the left side pipe through white and cyan, and finally the right hopper's purple, green and blue with the three crosses from the crate.
Opening
The purple bar under the right hopper clears at the start and the ice drops to 3. A red bar slides into the gap, a yellow bar goes under the left hopper and is full at about 2:19 (ice 2), and one more clear at about 2:15 brings the ice to 1. The next clear shatters it.
Danger Zone
The magenta cross is the only piece that can take the left hopper's pink layer, and it is buried under the ice in the middle of the board. After the ice breaks, it has to be worked up and left through the loose bars to sit under the left hopper. Parking bars in the upper-left corner at that point walls it off and the pink, black and brown layers behind it never drain.
Mechanics
The ice is one counter shared by every clear: each receiver that empties takes a point off the whole sheet, not one tile. The left hopper's contents change as each layer runs out (yellow, pink, black, brown). The side pipes switch colour too: red then orange on the right, white then cyan on the left. The right pipe later sends green and blue. The bottom crate gives out a blue cross, a cyan cross and a purple cross, with its badge counting 3, 2, 1.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does the ice sheet break?

It counts clears. Every receiver you empty anywhere on the board takes one point off every ice tile at once. It starts at 4, so the fourth clear after the first one breaks the whole sheet at about 2:13 on the timer.

  • What is the box marked 3 at the bottom?

A crate that holds three receivers. Each time you drag the top one out the badge drops by one: a blue cross first, then a cyan cross, then a purple cross. When it is empty it disappears.

  • Why does the left hopper keep changing colour?

It is stacked in layers. Yellow runs out first, then pink, black and brown. Each layer needs its own receiver, and the pink layer can only be taken by the magenta cross hidden under the ice.
