Sand Blocks level guide
Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 359 Walkthrough
Level 359 packs seven columns with sand sources that open one after another. A yellow tank pours from the start; glass caps hold back a top-right tank, a green outlet on the right wall and a purple outlet at the bottom-left, all counting down with every clear. A fourth cap on the cyan outlet at the top-left ignores clears and breaks only after three hammer pieces are filled, and a key from the last purple pour opens the padlocked red block.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 359 — Full Solution
- At about 2:20 on the timer the yellow bar under the yellow tank clears; the shutter drops from 5 to 4 and the top-right cap from 4 to 3.
- At about 2:19 slide the yellow 1x1s under the yellow tank; they clear at 2:19 and 2:18, and the cap reads 1.
- At about 2:09 another yellow piece fills; at 2:08 the shutter reads 1 and the top-right cap shatters, showing a blue tank.
- Between about 2:05 and 1:53 shuffle the blue hammer L across to c6-c7 r2 under the blue tank: 71% at 1:52. It fills at 1:50, the shutter lifts, and the hammer knocks the left strip from 3 to 2 at 1:49.
- The revealed lower half holds a padlocked red block, a cyan T with a +10 clock, a magenta +5 bar, an orange hammer, a magenta hammer, a cap of 9 on the green pipe and a cap of 24 on the purple pipe.
- At about 1:49 the top-right tank has turned orange: an orange 1x1 is 100% under it at 1:49, and the yellow square beside the yellow tank fills and clears at 1:45.
- At about 1:19 the yellow bar takes the last yellow; the yellow tank is empty.
- At about 1:13 park the orange hammer vertical under the orange tank (80%); it flies to the left strip, which reads 1 at 1:10, and the same moment the green cap breaks and green starts pouring from the right-wall pipe.
- At about 0:53 a green bar fills under the green pipe, then the green L (about 0:47); the pipe switches to magenta.
- At about 0:45 set the magenta +5 bar under the pipe (38%); it clears at 0:44 and the timer jumps to 0:48. The magenta hammer fills next and the left strip shatters at 0:43, opening the cyan outlet.
- At about 0:42 the cyan T fills at c1-c2 below the cyan outlet; the pink +5 clock and the cyan T's +10 clock push the timer back to 0:56.
- With the right pipe now red, fill the red T (100% around 0:53), the red vertical and the unlocked red square (26% at 0:51).
- At about 0:50 the cyan bar clears and the bottom-left cap reaches zero; at 0:49 purple pours into the key bar (50%) and the purple piece beside it.
- At about 0:48 the key flies to the padlock; the freed red block is 100% under the red pipe at 0:47, the last purple pieces fill (100% at 0:46) and the board is clear at 0:45.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Counting on clears to break the tall glass strip on the left; only the three hammer pieces do that.
- Leaving the blue hammer idle after 2:08; it is both the shutter's final clear and the first hammer hit.
- Parking the padlocked red block in the red pipe's catch cells before the key arrives; it cannot take sand while locked.
- Burning the clock pieces early when the timer still has plenty left.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 359 (quick clues)
- Every clear lowers the shutter and the three numbered caps together; the only exception is the tall strip marked 3 by the yellow tank, which counts hammers.
- Fill the blue hammer as soon as the top-right cap breaks; it is also the clear that lifts the shutter.
- The +10 cyan T and the +5 clocks come late; save them for the last minute, where the extra seconds matter.
- Leave the key piece near the bottom-left: the purple outlet it needs sits there behind the 24 cap.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Seven columns by eleven rows once revealed. Top row: yellow tank at c1-c2 r1-r2 under a yellow pipe, with a narrow glass strip marked 3 on its left edge over a cyan side pipe; green bar c3-c5 r1; glass cap marked 4 over a tank at c6-c7 r1 (orange pipe above). Below: orange, yellow and orange 1x1s along r2 with a cyan bar at c6-c7; a yellow bar under the yellow tank; a blue hammer piece at c1-c2 r4-r5; a pink +5 clock 1x1; a red vertical; a purple bar stamped with a key; a red bar; and a green pipe entering from the right. A shutter marked 5 covers the lower rows.
- Goal
- Keep the tanks busy until every cap is gone: yellow first, then the capped top-right tank (blue, then orange), the green outlet (green, then magenta, then red) and finally the purple outlet at the bottom-left, whose pour fills the key piece that unlocks the red padlock.
- Opening
- The yellow bar under the yellow tank clears at about 2:20 and every clear-counting number drops by one (shutter 4, top-right cap 3). Two yellow 1x1s follow at 2:19 and 2:18, leaving the cap at 1.
- Danger Zone
- The narrow strip marked 3 on the left does not move with clears. It only drops when a hammer piece is filled, so parking the three hammers (blue, orange, magenta) where their colour never arrives stalls the cyan outlet and its +10 clock piece. The padlocked red block cannot take sand until the key arrives, so keep it out of the red outlet's catch cells until then.
- Mechanics
- Global clear counter on the shutter and three glass caps (top-right tank 4, green outlet 9, purple outlet 24); a hammer-only glass strip needing three hammers; colour-switching outlets; a key receiver that frees a padlocked block; +5 and +10 clock receivers that push the timer back.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the tall strip marked 3 next to the yellow tank?
A glass cap over the cyan outlet that only hammers can break. The blue, orange and magenta hammer pieces each knock it down by one; it shattered at about 0:43.
How does the padlock open?
Fill the purple key bar. Purple only arrives after the 24 cap at the bottom-left breaks at about 0:49; the key flies to the lock at 0:48 and the red block then fills under the red pipe.
How much time do the clocks add?
The magenta clock bar and the pink clock add five seconds each, and the cyan T adds ten. Together they took the timer from 0:42 back to 0:56.
