How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 4 — Full Solution

  1. Drag green from R3-4/C5-6 to R1-2/C1-2 and hold beneath the left green bank until its 100% clear.
  2. Move the upper yellow receiver from R3-4/C3-4 to R1-2/C5-6 and collect the exposed right yellow bank to 100%.
  3. Raise the lower yellow receiver from R5-6/C3-4 to R1-2/C3-4, follow the settling middle grains, and wait for its 100% clear.
  4. Bring blue from R5-6/C5-6 to the top catch row and sweep it from the right through center and left beneath the newly exposed blue layer.
  5. Return blue beneath the final right-side pocket and hold it through 99% to its 100% removal.
  6. Lift both red receivers into adjacent R1-2/C1-2 and R1-2/C3-4 positions so the broad red layer fills them to about 80% and 75%.
  7. When the center red receiver clears, drag the remaining red square to R1-2/C5-6 beneath the last right mound and wait for its 100% clear.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Trying to collect blue before both yellow receivers have removed the split bottom layer.
  • Leaving blue at one outlet position and stranding grains at the opposite edge.
  • Assuming the two red receivers share progress instead of treating their fill meters separately.

Layout
A six-column by six-row receiver grid holds a 2x3 block of 2x2 receivers: red, yellow, green on R3-4 and red, yellow, blue on R5-6. The reservoir bottom is green over C1-3 and yellow over C4-6, with full-width blue and red above.
Goal
Remove green and both yellow receivers to expose blue, sweep the blue receiver across all six outlet columns, then distribute the final red layer between two independent red receivers.
Opening
Move green to R1-2/C1-2 for the left foundation, then clear one yellow at R1-2/C5-6 and the other around R1-2/C3-4.
Danger Zone
Duplicate yellow and red blocks do not share a meter. When one clears, its unsupported sand slides elsewhere and the remaining partner must follow that new mound.
Mechanics
Every receiver is 2x2, while the reservoir is six columns wide. Blue must sweep multiple catch positions, and the two red receivers can fill side by side before one finishes the right edge.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why are there two yellow receivers in Sand Blocks Level 4?

The exposed yellow foundation spans more sand than one 2x2 block can absorb, so the two yellow receivers clear separate portions.

  • How should the blue layer be collected?

Move the blue 2x2 receiver across the top catch row so it covers the right, center, and left outlet areas.

  • Where does the final red receiver finish?

It finishes at R1-2/C5-6 beneath the isolated red mound at the reservoir's right edge.
