How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 5 — Full Solution

  1. Drag pink from C2 into the empty C1 lane, then shift red C3 to C2 and blue C4 to C3.
  2. Move purple from C5 to C4 below the mixed center source and wait for its exposed purple layer to fill the receiver to 100%.
  3. Drag blue from C3 to C5 under the blue source and hold it until the falling blue column clears.
  4. Move red from C2 to C5 beneath the red mound sliding right from the open center source and wait for its 100% clear.
  5. Bring yellow from C6 to C2 beside the C3 source, collect the left-sloping yellow stream, and wait for 100%.
  6. Drag cyan from C7 to C2 under the left source and hold until the cyan receiver disappears.
  7. Finish by moving the parked pink receiver from C1 to C6 beneath the far-right source and waiting for 100% and the empty-board celebration.

Colors in this level:

Pink, Red, Blue, Purple, Yellow, Cyan

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Trying to move red under the mixed center source while purple still forms its bottom layer.
  • Leaving pink at C2 and blocking the opening three-receiver left shift.
  • Returning receivers to their starting columns instead of using the empty corridor and the visible sand slope.

Board notes 5 details
Layout
A seven-column by three-row corridor starts empty at C1, followed by 1x3 pink, red, blue, purple, yellow, and cyan receivers in C2-C7. Sources above C2-C6 are cyan, yellow, red over purple, blue, and pink.
Goal
Use the spare lane to align purple under the mixed C4 source, clear its lower layer first, then collect blue, red, yellow, cyan, and pink from their exposed bins.
Opening
Park pink at C1, shift red C3 to C2 and blue C4 to C3, then move purple C5 to C4 so it can drain the bottom of the center source.
Danger Zone
The red layer in the mixed center bin remains supported until purple clears. After each receiver disappears, recalculate the empty lanes instead of relying on the starting order.
Mechanics
All receivers are vertical 1x3 strips. Their one-column footprints allow long horizontal relocations through cleared lanes, and each source stream can slope into an adjacent catch column.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why must pink move first in Sand Blocks Level 5?

Moving pink from C2 to empty C1 creates the lane needed to shift red, blue, and purple left.

  • Which color clears first from the mixed center source?

Purple clears first because it is the lower layer beneath red in the C4 source bin.

  • Where does the final pink receiver go?

Move it from its parking lane at C1 to C6 beneath the far-right pink source.
