Sand Blocks level guide
Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 408 Walkthrough
Level 408 is a tall two-pipe board with a yellow shutter, a white shutter and a pink checked countdown pocket marked 32. Use the right white/yellow pipe for the opening hammer-white and brown clears, keep the large blue square parked until the right pipe turns blue, and finish with black and purple from the left pipe before the 0:02 clear.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 408 — Full Solution
- At 3:07, start on the compact receivers under the right tray. Brown bars/squares and the hammer-marked white bar sit directly below the yellow-white sand stack.
- Clear the first brown/white pieces without moving the large blue square. At about 3:02, the upper yellow shutter drops to 2 and the checked pocket drops to 31.
- Keep the hammer-white receiver under the right pipe while white is visible. Do not spend the yellow tray on the large blue square; the blue square has no useful sand yet.
- By about 2:32, the upper shutter reads 1 and the checked pocket reads 30. Continue with small brown, red and white pieces on the right side.
- Around 2:12, the upper yellow shutter is gone. Use the newly opened left-side space to park long pieces vertically, keeping the center corridor open.
- Feed the pink and purple bars from the left pipe as space opens. The checked pocket continues falling with each receiver clear, so every small clear helps.
- After the lower white shutter opens, move into the lower half. By about 1:12, the left pipe is grey over purple, the right pipe is blue over red, and the checked counter is down to 15.
- Clear the remaining red and brown pieces near the top so they do not trap the black receivers below the left pipe.
- Around 0:42, with the checked pocket at 9, set the black horizontal and black L where the left grey/black feed can reach them. Keep the large blue square under the right blue tray.
- From 0:24 to 0:12, alternate black and blue receivers: black fills from the left pipe, blue fills from the right pipe, and the checked pocket drops to 6.
- At 0:08, the checked pocket reads 3. Clear the last black receiver and the last blue vertical, then leave the purple L and purple bar under the left pipe.
- At 0:04 the checked pocket reads 1. Finish the final purple/blue receiver chain; the board is empty and star effects appear at 0:02.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Moving the blue square early, before the right pipe turns blue.
- Treating the checked 32 pocket as a color receiver instead of a global clear counter.
- Parking the lower black L away from the left pipe.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 408 (quick clues)
- Use hammer-white and brown receivers early while the right pipe still carries white over yellow.
- Do not move the large blue square until the right pipe is visibly blue.
- Keep black and purple pieces near the left pipe for the last minute.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Portrait board with two top reservoirs. The left pipe is purple at the start and has a purple badge 4 above its tray. The right pipe starts white over yellow. Two left-side shutters are marked 3 and 4. The right half holds brown bars and squares, hammer-marked white receivers, pink and red pieces, yellow squares, a large blue square, black pieces, purple bars and a pink checked L-shaped pocket marked 32.
- Goal
- Use compact early receivers to lower the shutters and the checked counter, then open the lower board and place black, blue and purple receivers under the correct late pipes.
- Opening
- At 3:07 the right tray is yellow under a white column, the shutters read 3 and 4, and the checked pocket reads 32. By 3:02 the upper shutter is down to 2 and the pocket reads 31. At 2:32 the upper shutter reads 1; at 2:12 it is gone.
- Danger Zone
- The large blue square and the lower black L are late pieces. Moving them into the middle before the lower shutter opens blocks the only vertical corridor around the lavender pillars.
- Mechanics
- A shared clear count lowers the shutters and the checked pocket. The top-right pipe changes through white/yellow into red/blue. The left pipe handles late grey/black and purple pieces.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the pink checked 32 do?
It counts down with receiver clears. It is still at 15 around 1:12, 9 around 0:42, 3 around 0:08 and 1 around 0:04.
When should I use the blue square?
Wait until the right pipe has turned blue late in the level. Early yellow/white sand belongs to the smaller receivers.
What is the final sequence?
Black from the left pipe, blue from the right pipe, then the last purple/blue chain. The board is empty at about 0:02.
