Colony Flow! Level 168 Walkthrough

medium 5 colors

Colony Flow Level 168 clears a yellow bee over a blue sky; blue 38 and 34 plus black 38 and 40 open the dark ground route, after which white, yellow, and green groups remove the suspended bee and its last border pixels.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 168 — Full Solution

  1. Tap blue 38 and blue 34, then black 38 and black 40. Let the four streams run together; the source shows them stepping through the mid-30s and then the high-20s while the dark ground route opens.
  2. Wait until the first wave reaches the hole and the active counters are down around blue 9 / 5 and dark 12 / 15. Keep white 30 and yellow 30 closed during this crowded beat.
  3. Tap the next exposed blue 40, then green 12, and let the small green flower/ground pieces reach the hole. Follow with yellow 30 only after blue ants make a clear approach below the bee.
  4. Use white 30 and the remaining blue/black cards to remove the pale wing pixels, dark stripe blocks, and the left flower. Pause whenever the lower edge fills with blue ants.
  5. Continue through the visible blue 34 / 40 and yellow 30 / 18 groups, keeping the last white pad available for isolated white wing fragments.
  6. Route the remaining yellow body and white wing pieces while blue ants finish the outer frame; the picture should reduce to a few top-edge blue pixels, a small yellow patch, and dark squares.
  7. Finish with the last small blue 2 and dark 1/single-square groups near the end of the source. Wait for the final ants to leave the top-right and bottom perimeter before counting Victory.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Opening white 30 or yellow 30 while blue and black still cover the lower ground route, which makes the bee underside and central hole congested.
  • Using every buffer pad during the first blue/black wave, leaving no staging space for the white wing and late yellow fragments.
  • Stopping when only the blue border and a small bee patch remain, even though the source still shows dark 1 and blue 2 tail groups.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 168 (spoiler-free)

  • Run blue 38, blue 34, black 38, and black 40 before spending white 30 or yellow 30.
  • Wait until the first counters are around blue 9 / 5 and dark 12 / 15 before opening the next layer, and preserve one white buffer.
  • The blue border is not the finish; follow the final blue 2 and dark 1/single-square groups until the logo and Victory transition.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
The opening art is a yellow bee with white wings, black stripes, a dark underside, a small dark red flower at lower left, and a green ground strip on a blue sky. One brown hole is centered below the board and five white buffer pads start empty. Visible stacks are white 30, blue 38, blue 34; blue 40, black 38, black 40; then yellow 30, blue 40, and green 12.
Goal
Clear the dark ground and the outside blue route first, then send yellow bee pixels, black stripes, white wings, the flower, and the green ground through the matching route. The final state is an empty frame after the last dark and blue tail pieces reach the hole.
Opening
Tap blue 38 and blue 34, then black 38 and black 40. The first visible counters move through roughly 35 / 32 and 28 / 25 / 32 / 35 while blue and dark ants open the lower route; leave white 30 and green 12 for the next reveal.
Danger Zone
The blue and dark streams share the narrow lower edge under the bee. Opening white 30 or yellow 30 before that first wave crosses the hole fills the staging route; wait when the dark ants pile up and keep one white pad free for late wing fragments.
Mechanics
Two-stage perimeter routing on a compact bee board: blue/black ground opener, then yellow/white/green bee and flower cleanup, followed by a small dark/blue tail that survives the apparent clear.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do blue 38 and blue 34 start Level 168?

They open the long blue sky/perimeter route around the bee. The black 38 and 40 groups can then clear the dark ground without the white and yellow stacks competing for the same hole.

  • When should white 30 and yellow 30 enter?

Wait until the first four blue/black counters have fallen into the single- and low-teens phase and the lower edge has a visible gap. Then white can remove wing pixels and yellow can reach the bee body safely.

  • What are the last visible pieces?

The frame can be nearly empty while a small yellow patch, dark square, blue 2, and dark 1/single-square groups still circulate. Let those ants finish the top-right and bottom perimeter before Victory.
