Magic Sort level guide
Magic Sort Level 219 Walkthrough
Magic Sort Level 219 is a three-tier, eleven-bottle four-vault release board with three wooden box vaults across the top row, one large wooden box vault at the bottom center, a tall clear magic bottle at top-col 2, a tall dark tunnel bottle at top-col 3, and a hard band of five gray-backed 2-color mixers across the middle row. Pop the four vaults to release single-color cyan, green and dark blue lanes plus three more bottles in a new bottom row, route every gray segment off the five middle mixers into the tunnel bottle, peel the five colored tops onto the vault-revealed lanes, and top off the last mixed segments.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 219 — Full Solution
- Pour the cyan top off the right wooden box padlock at top-col 5 to pop that vault, releasing a full cyan bottle into top-col 5 as the first working stack.
- Pour the green top off the left wooden box padlock at top-col 1 to pop that vault, releasing a full green bottle into top-col 1 as the second working stack.
- Pour the dark blue top off the small middle padlock at top-col 4 to pop that vault, releasing a full dark blue bottle into top-col 4 as the third working stack.
- Pop the bottom-center wooden box vault to release three single-color bottles (brown, dark blue, green) into a new bottom row, expanding the board to thirteen bottles.
- Pour the pink top off the middle-1 mixer into the magic bottle at top-col 2 to bank a pink buffer, then pour the now-exposed gray off middle-1 into the tunnel bottle at top-col 3 to start the gray fill.
- Peel purple off the middle-2 mixer onto its own lane, then pour the new gray off middle-2 into the tunnel. Repeat the same pattern for orange (middle-3), yellow (middle-4) and red (middle-5), pouring each colored top onto its own vault- revealed lane and the gray bottom into the tunnel.
- Route the pink out of the magic bottle onto its own bottom-row pink lane, then use the magic bottle and the tunnel bottle (now holding the consolidated gray) as overflow to top off every other bottle.
- Top off cyan, green, dark blue, pink, purple, orange, yellow, red, brown and the second dark blue so all thirteen bottles end on a single color.
Colors in this level:
Pink, Purple, Orange, Yellow, Red, Gray, Green, Cyan, Dark blue, Brown
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Pouring a non-gray color into the tunnel bottle at top-col 3, which pollutes the only gray receiver and strands the remaining gray segments on top of the colored tops you have not yet moved.
- Pouring a second color into the magic bottle at top-col 2, which locks your only flexible overflow slot just when you need it for the leftover pink and brown lanes.
- Pouring a wrong color into one of the four wooden box padlocks, which keeps the vault locked and strands the hidden single-color bottle the rest of the puzzle depends on.
Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 219 (spoiler-free)
- Pop the four wooden box vaults first (top-5 with cyan, top-1 with green, top-4 with dark blue, bottom with a matching color) so you have the single-color lanes the middle row needs to peel onto.
- Route every gray segment off the five middle mixers into the tunnel bottle at top-col 3 in one continuous chain — it is the only gray receiver on the board.
- Use the magic bottle at top-col 2 as a one-color pink buffer only; the moment a second color lands inside it locks and you lose your only flexible overflow slot.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A three-tier board of eleven bottles (5-5-1) with four wooden box vaults, one tall clear magic bottle, and one tall dark tunnel/wrap bottle. The top row is five bottles — a large wooden box vault at col 1, a tall empty magic bottle at col 2, a tall dark tunnel bottle at col 3, a small wooden box vault at col 4, and a large wooden box vault at col 5. The middle row is five bottles, all 2-color mixers with a colored top and a gray bottom — pink-on-gray at col 1, purple-on-gray at col 2, orange-on-gray at col 3, yellow-on-gray at col 4, and red-on-gray at col 5. The bottom tier is one large wooden box vault at the center. The board starts with no real empty buffer, no single-color source, and a hard band of five gray-backed mixers that has to be peeled top-first to free the colored tops.
- Goal
- Pop the four wooden box vaults to release the only single-color bottles on the board. The top-col 5 vault opens on cyan to release a full cyan bottle, the top-col 1 vault opens on green to release a full green bottle, the top-col 4 vault opens on dark blue to release a full dark blue bottle, and the bottom-center vault opens to release three more single-color bottles (brown, dark blue, green) into a brand-new bottom row. Route every gray segment off the five middle mixers into the tunnel bottle, peel the five colored tops onto the vault-revealed lanes, and top off the last mixed segments so all thirteen bottles end on a single color.
- Opening
- Pour the cyan top off the right wooden box padlock at top-col 5 to pop that vault — the vault splits and a full cyan bottle drops into top-col 5, becoming the first working stack. Pour the green top off the left wooden box padlock at top-col 1 to pop that vault — the vault splits and a full green bottle drops into top-col 1, becoming the second working stack. Pour the dark blue top off the small middle padlock at top-col 4 to pop that vault — the vault splits and a full dark blue bottle drops into top-col 4, becoming the third working stack. Pop the bottom-center wooden box vault by pouring a matching color into its padlock — the vault splits and three new single-color bottles drop into a new bottom row, expanding the board from eleven to thirteen bottles.
- Danger Zone
- The magic bottle at top-col 2 is the only flexible overflow and locks the moment a second color lands inside, so once pink is banked there the next pour onto the magic bottle must also be pink or the slot burns. The tunnel bottle at top-col 3 has to absorb every gray segment from the five middle mixers in one continuous gray fill, so do not pour any non-gray color into the tunnel or you pollute the only gray receiver. The four wooden box vaults each open on a specific color (cyan at top-5, green at top-1, dark blue at top-4, brown/dark blue/green at the bottom) — pour a wrong color into a padlock and the box stays locked for the rest of the run, which strands the hidden single-color bottles the rest of the puzzle depends on.
- Mechanics
- A four-vault release board on a sparse three-tier frame, with a tall clear magic bottle and a tall dark tunnel bottle as the only flexible slots. The wooden box vaults are the obvious gimmick, but the real test is the gray-on-bottom middle row — the tunnel bottle has to catch every gray segment in one continuous pour chain because no other bottle on the board accepts gray. The board starts with zero single-color sources, so the vaults are not just a side mechanic but the only path to the colored lanes that make the middle row sortable.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you unlock the four wooden box vaults in Magic Sort Level 219?
Each vault opens when a matching color is poured into its brass padlock. The top-col 5 vault opens on cyan, the top-col 1 vault opens on green, the top-col 4 vault opens on dark blue, and the bottom-center vault opens on a matching color to release the three new single-color bottles. Pour a wrong color into a padlock and that vault stays locked for the rest of the run.
Why does every gray segment off the middle mixers have to land in the tunnel bottle?
The tunnel bottle at top-col 3 is the only gray receiver on the board, so all five gray bottoms from the middle mixers have to pour into it in one continuous chain. The moment a non-gray color lands in the tunnel, you lose the only slot that can take gray and strand the remaining gray segments on top of the colored tops you have not yet moved.
