Sand Blocks level guide
Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 383 Walkthrough
Level 383 carries the game's Hard label on a seven-column board with two hoppers, and each hopper's pipe changes colour as it goes. Four quick clears lift the shutter at about 1:31. Behind it is a big 3x3 blue receiver sitting between two dispensers at the bottom. The level turns on getting that blue square up to the left hopper, which only happened at 0:40 and finished at 0:35, then emptying both dispensers during the last half-minute.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 383 — Full Solution
- At about 1:40 on the timer, fill the magenta bar under the right hopper. It clears as green starts pouring in and the shutter drops to 3.
- Slide the small white and the white bars under the left hopper. The shutter reads 2 at about 1:35 and 1 at 1:34; the hopper now shows blue under a red pipe.
- Clear one more white bar (about 1:33). The shutter lifts at 1:31, showing the lower board, the blue 3x3 and both dispensers marked 3.
- Take green under the right hopper with the green Ls: one clears at about 1:18, another at 1:11 and a third at 1:03. The right pipe turns brown and then yellow over the green.
- Keep shifting cyan, red, yellow and purple pieces off the middle columns to open a path upward for the blue square.
- At about 0:40 lift the blue 3x3 under the left hopper. It is full at 0:35 and clears; red now shows in the hopper and the pipe turns purple.
- Catch red with the red L (71% at about 0:34, then 69%). Park it once the red layer thins.
- Pull the green piece out of the left dispenser (badge 2 at 0:29) and fill it under the right hopper; the green L is full at 0:27.
- Fill purple under the left hopper (the purple vertical is full at about 0:24). Pull the blue piece from the left dispenser (badge 1 at 0:22) and top up the small blue there.
- Bring the red L back under the left hopper; it goes from 69% to full at about 0:18. Take the brown pieces from both dispensers to the right hopper: the left one's brown clears at 0:16, and the right dispenser gives up its cyan L (badge 2 at 0:15) and purple bar (badge 1 at 0:11).
- Fill the purple bar under the left hopper (17% at 0:11) and the right dispenser's brown L under the right hopper (0:10).
- The right pipe pours yellow: yellow smalls and the yellow L are full at about 0:08 and 0:07.
- Cyan comes last. Drop the cyan bars and Ls under the right hopper one after another; each fills in about a second, and the last L clears at 0:03.
Colors in this level:
White, Magenta, Blue, Green, Cyan, Red, Yellow, Purple, Brown
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Leaving the blue 3x3 at the bottom too long; it only reached the blue hopper at 0:40.
- Using the red layer on the wrong piece. It is thin, and the red L sat at 69% for over ten seconds.
- Ignoring the dispensers until the end; six pieces were still inside with half a minute left.
- Sliding cyan pieces into the right hopper spot before the cyan pour arrives; cyan is the very last colour.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 383 (quick clues)
- The shutter only needs four clears, so fill the magenta bar and the whites straight away.
- Start working the blue 3x3 upward right after the shutter lifts; blue is the only colour the left hopper holds for most of the level.
- Leave room beside each hopper for dispenser pieces. The last six pieces all came out in the final 30 seconds.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Seven columns. Two hoppers stick up above the board: the left one (c2-c3) holds white under a blue pipe, and the right one (c5-c6) holds magenta under a green pipe. Two rows of small receivers sit under them (cyan, purple, white, magenta, yellow and cyan bars and squares), and a shutter marked 4 covers the rest. Behind it: green, cyan, red, yellow and purple Ls and verticals, a 3x3 blue receiver at c3-c5 on the bottom row, and a dispenser marked 3 on each side of it (left holding green, right holding cyan).
- Goal
- Four clears lift the shutter. After that the left hopper runs blue, red and purple, and the right one runs green, brown, yellow and cyan. The blue 3x3 has to reach the left hopper while blue is still there, and every dispenser piece has to be used. The last cyan L clears at about 0:03.
- Opening
- The magenta bar under the right hopper clears as green starts pouring in (shutter 3 at about 1:39). Whites fill under the left hopper next, with the shutter at 2 at 1:35 and 1 at 1:34. A white bar clears at 1:33 and the shutter lifts at 1:31.
- Danger Zone
- The blue 3x3 starts at the bottom between the dispensers, as far from the blue hopper as it can be. From about 1:30 to 0:41 most moves go into clearing a route for it, with only green Ls clearing (1:18, 1:11, 1:03). If blue runs low before it arrives, the square is stranded.
- Mechanics
- A shutter lifted by clears. Two hoppers fed by pipes that change colour: left white → blue → red → purple, right magenta → green → brown → yellow → cyan. Two dispensers whose red badges count pieces: the left gives green, blue, brown and the right gives cyan, purple, brown. The red L can sit part-full (69%) and still finish later.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the purple boxes with 3 on them?
Dispensers. The left one gives a green, a blue and a brown piece, and the right one gives a cyan L, a purple bar and a brown L. The badge drops each time one is pulled out.
How do I fill the big blue square?
Move it up under the left hopper while that hopper still holds blue. It arrived at about 0:40 and was full at 0:35.
Why do the hoppers change colour?
Their pipes change. The left runs white, blue, red and purple; the right runs magenta, green, brown, yellow and finally cyan.
