Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 386 Walkthrough
Level 386 is a crowded 6x7 wall of receivers under two reservoirs that keep changing colour: the left one runs green, purple, red, magenta and finally orange, the right one blue, yellow, black and white. Two chained side slots beside a central orange block each hold a queue of three receivers, and once both queues are emptied the centre opens to reveal a nested orange-and-white L that has to catch both reservoirs at once in the last seconds.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 386 — Full Solution
- At about 2:05 on the timer, the blue bar at c4-c5 r1 fills from the blue reservoir and clears. Drag the small blue cell from c6 r3 to c4 r1; it reaches 100% at about 1:59 while the right pipe starts pouring yellow.
- From about 1:55, work yellow and the rest of the blue out of the right reservoir: a small yellow cell at c4 r1 (55% at 1:54), then a small blue cell that climbs to 94% and clears at about 1:42, then the yellow upright from c6 stood under the right reservoir, full at about 1:36. Black sand starts showing in the right reservoir now.
- At about 1:31 move the green upright from c1 up to c2 r1-r2 under the green reservoir. It fills over the next few seconds; by about 1:27 the green layer is almost gone and purple is falling behind it.
- Catch purple with the small purple cell at c2 r1 (from about 1:26), and finish the leftover green with the small green cell under the left reservoir at about 1:18-1:17.
- At about 1:11 drag the purple upright out of the right chained slot; the badge drops to 2 and a black upright slides in. Meanwhile a small black cell at c5 r1 fills to 100%. At about 1:09 pull the black upright out as well; the right badge now reads 1 and a red upright waits in the slot.
- Put the purple upright under the left reservoir (100% at about 1:01). Red is now next on the left: a red bar at c2-c3 r1 reads 65% at about 1:00. Put the black upright under the right reservoir (66% at about 0:57).
- At about 0:52 drag the yellow upright out of the left chained slot; the left badge drops to 2 and a purple upright appears. Stand the yellow under the right reservoir to catch the last yellow (90% at about 0:47). The right pipe is running white by now.
- At about 0:39 pull the purple upright out of the left slot (badge 1), then set it under the left reservoir to take the last purple (95% at about 0:37). The next receiver in the left queue is black; pull it out at about 0:35 and the left side of the centre opens into a yellow-framed cage.
- Stand the black upright at c4 r1-r2 under the right reservoir; it is full at about 0:31. Around 0:29 drag the red upright out of the right slot, which opens the right side of the cage too.
- Clear the red layer on the left with the red upright (59% at about 0:24) and a red bar (100% at about 0:19). The left reservoir turns magenta and then orange; clear magenta with small magenta pieces and a magenta bar, then an orange bar under the left reservoir reaches 100% at about 0:13.
- At about 0:12 the cage opens, revealing an orange L nested inside a white L. Drag the pair up so the orange arm sits under the left reservoir and the white arm under the right one (about 0:10). The orange L clears first; drop the last orange bar under the left reservoir at about 0:08 while the white L finishes, and both clear at about 0:06 to empty the board.
Colors in this level:
Green, Blue, Yellow, Black, Purple, Red, Magenta, Orange, White
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Treating the badges as sand counters. They count receivers still queued in each chained slot; they only fall when you drag a receiver out.
- Leaving the side-slot receivers in place until the end. The centre cage, and the nested L inside it, only opens after both queues are empty.
- Separating the orange and white L arms. They need to hang under the two reservoirs at the same time, and there is little time left when they appear.
- Missing a colour change at the top: a receiver of the old colour left under a reservoir cannot catch the new layer.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 386 (quick clues)
- Watch the pipe colour above each reservoir; it tells you the next layer before it lands.
- Pulling a receiver out of a chained slot drops that slot's badge by one and slides the next receiver in.
- Have an orange bar ready for the left reservoir before revealing the nested L; the finish is very close to the timer.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Six columns by seven rows under two top reservoirs: green over c2-c3 and blue over c4-c5, each fed by its own pipe. Row 1: dark red bar c1-c2, small purple c3, blue bar c4-c5, small green c6. Row 2: small blue c1, white bar c2-c3, small yellow c4, orange bar c5-c6. Row 3: orange bar c1-c2, small green c3, magenta bar c4-c5, small blue c6. Rows 4-5: green upright c1, a chained slot at c2 holding a yellow upright (badge 3), an orange block at c3-c4, a chained slot at c5 holding a purple upright (badge 3), yellow upright c6. Row 6: magenta bar c1-c2, orange bar c3-c4, black bar c5-c6. Row 7: red bar c1-c2, magenta bar c3-c4, white U-shaped receiver c5-c6.
- Goal
- Keep a matching receiver in row 1 under each reservoir as its colour changes, and pull every receiver out of the two chained slots (the badge counts how many are left in each queue). Emptying both queues opens the centre; the final pieces are an orange L nested inside a white L, laid across both reservoirs.
- Opening
- The blue bar at c4-c5 r1 is already under the blue reservoir and clears within the first second. Drag the small blue cell from c6 r3 up to c4 r1; it reaches 100% at about 1:59 on the timer. Yellow is now pouring onto the right reservoir, so bring the small yellow cell up next.
- Danger Zone
- Row 1 is the only catch row. A leftover bar parked under the wrong reservoir while its colour changes wastes that layer, and the timer is tight: the last clear lands with only six seconds left. The side-queue receivers also have to be dragged somewhere, so keep a couple of empty cells in rows 2-3 to receive them.
- Mechanics
- Two layered reservoirs with colour-changing pipes, two chained queue slots (3 receivers each) flanking a central block, a yellow-framed centre cage that opens once both queues are empty, and a nested orange/white double receiver.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do the two 3 badges on Level 386 mean?
Each sits on a chained slot beside the central orange block and shows how many receivers are queued in that slot. Dragging one out lowers the badge and slides the next receiver in: the left slot holds yellow, purple and black, and the right slot holds purple, black and red.
In what order do the reservoirs change colour?
The left reservoir goes green, purple, red, magenta, orange. The right one goes blue, yellow, black, white.
How does Level 386 end?
The centre cage opens to show an orange L inside a white L. Lay it across the top so each arm is under its matching reservoir, add one more orange bar on the left, and the last two receivers clear with about six seconds left.
