Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 395 Walkthrough
Level 395 hides its main sand supply in a cracked glass tank marked 7. Each receiver you fill from the right-wall nozzle knocks the count down by one; the seventh clear shatters the glass, and the orange, red, white and black sand inside becomes your only supply for the second half.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 395 — Full Solution
- At about 1:40 on the timer, the cyan receiver at c4-c5 is already full; it clears and the tank drops from 7 to 6 while the nozzle switches to magenta.
- At about 1:39, slide the magenta vertical up from c5 r6-r7 into the landing under the nozzle. It is at 77% by 1:38 and clears at 1:37, taking the tank to 5. The nozzle turns yellow.
- From about 1:36 to 1:06, work the yellow square out of the top of c3. Drop the small white and black squares and the black L lower, move the white verticals aside, and walk the yellow square down until it sits in c5 just under the nozzle.
- At about 1:04 the yellow square reads 82%, and by 1:03 it has cleared. The tank shows 4 and the nozzle turns green.
- Park the green bar under the nozzle next. It reaches 100% at about 0:50 and the tank drops to 3.
- Swap in the green L at c4-c5. It fills from 33% to 100% between about 0:48 and 0:47, the tank reads 2, and the nozzle switches to purple.
- Slide the purple bar into the landing. It is at 91% at about 0:46 and clears for tank 1.
- Set the purple vertical under the nozzle. It reaches 78% by about 0:41 and stops gaining; slide it to c5 r5-r7, where it reads 90% at 0:32. At about 0:31 it clears, the glass shatters and the tank's orange, red and white sand starts pouring down.
- Put the red and orange verticals straight under the tank. By about 0:28 they read 48% and 46%. Stand a white vertical in the white stream too; it reaches 58% by about 0:22.
- As the tank empties, shift pieces to follow each colour. The red vertical climbs from 63% to 97% between about 0:13 and 0:12 and clears. The orange vertical finishes at 96% to 97% around 0:07 to 0:06, and a tall white vertical under the left edge also clears at about 0:07.
- Only black sand is left in the tank corners. Lift the black L to the top rows at about 0:05, then stand the black vertical under the right corner: 9% at 0:04, 72% at 0:03, 92% at 0:02. It clears at about 0:01 and SAND BLOCKS appears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Filling receivers under the tank before it breaks. The count only drops for pieces fed by the right-wall nozzle.
- Leaving the yellow square buried in c3 until the nozzle turns yellow. Digging it out then eats most of a minute.
- Leaving the purple vertical in the spot where it stalls at 78% instead of sliding it to c5 r5-r7.
- Spending the black pieces early. Black is the last sand in the tank, and there is barely time to finish it.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 395 (quick clues)
- Only the right-wall nozzle lowers the 7. Nothing else you fill before the tank breaks counts.
- Dig the yellow square out of c3 early; it is the third colour the nozzle asks for.
- The purple vertical may stall partway; slide it along under the nozzle mouth to finish it.
- Save the black L and black vertical for last, since black is the final sand left in the tank.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Five columns under a pink glass tank marked 7. Rows 1-3: white vertical c1, black vertical c2, yellow square c3 r1 over a small white square c3 r2 and a small black square c3 r3, purple vertical c4, white vertical c5. Rows 4-5: black L c1-c2, green L c2-c3, cyan receiver c4-c5 sitting in the right-wall nozzle's gutter. Rows 6-7: purple bar c1-c2 r6, green bar c1-c2 r7, orange vertical c3, red vertical c4, magenta vertical c5. The nozzle on the right wall at r4 changes colour after every clear.
- Goal
- Complete seven receivers from the right-wall nozzle to take the tank from 7 to 0, then use the sand that drains out of the broken tank to clear every remaining piece before the 1:40 timer runs out.
- Opening
- The cyan receiver already sits under the nozzle and clears immediately (7 to 6). Slide the magenta vertical up into the c5 landing under the nozzle for 6 to 5, then start digging the yellow square out of the c3 stack.
- Danger Zone
- The yellow square is trapped at the top of c3 under white and black squares, and reaching the nozzle row with it took about thirty seconds of shuffling. That delay is the reason the level finishes with one second left, so plan the c3 dig before you touch anything else.
- Mechanics
- A glass tank counter that only drops when a receiver fed by the right-wall nozzle clears; a nozzle that cycles cyan, magenta, yellow, green and purple; and a shattered tank that dumps layered orange, red and white sand (with a white top stream while it lasts) and finally black sand from its corners.
Frequently Asked Questions
What lowers the 7 on the glass tank?
Each receiver that clears from the right-wall nozzle lowers it by one: cyan, magenta, yellow, the green bar, the green L, the purple bar, and then the purple vertical, which breaks the glass at about 0:31 on the timer.
What comes out of the tank after it breaks?
Layered orange and red sand, a white stream from the top pipe, and finally black sand from the corners. The red, orange, white and black pieces all fill from it.
How close is the finish?
Very close. The last black vertical clears with about one second left on the 1:40 timer, so the thirty-second yellow dig early on has to be done efficiently.
