Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 392 Walkthrough

expert 7 colors

Level 392 runs three countdowns off every clear: a purple shutter at 4, a green side tank at 13 and a glass gate at 16 on the top pipe. Four blue clears lift the shutter, the tank empties into two key receivers that open a two-key padlock, and the broken gate finishes the board with black, purple, yellow and red sand.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 392 — Full Solution

  1. At about 2:30 on the timer the shutter shows 4, the side tank 13 and the padlock 2. The tall blue bar in the bottom rows already touches the blue inlet on the lower-left wall; let it fill. It clears at about 2:29 and the shutter drops to 3, the tank to 12.
  2. Slide the bottom pieces so another blue receiver sits against the inlet. It passes 95% at about 2:27 and clears by 2:26: shutter 2, tank 11.
  3. Pull the blue square from the left edge of the strip down to the inlet. At about 2:11 it clears and the shutter reads 1, the tank 10.
  4. Bring one more blue piece down. At about 1:55 it clears, the shutter lifts and the tank reads 9. The upper chamber now shows the glass gate at 16, the yellow inlet on the left wall and the two green key receivers.
  5. Feed yellow pieces into the left yellow inlet: a tall yellow bar first, then a small yellow square that shows 100% at about 1:39. By 1:38 the gate reads 12 and the tank 5.
  6. Switch back to the blue inlet. A tall blue bar clears at about 1:27 (gate 10, tank 3), then a flat blue bar climbs from 24% to 84% and clears at about 1:20 (gate 9, tank 2).
  7. Push the yellow L into the left inlet. It reads 40% at about 1:11 and 76% at 1:10, then clears at 1:09: gate 8, tank 1.
  8. Clear two more blues at the lower-left inlet: a tall bar at about 0:56 and a small square at 0:55. That second clear takes the tank to zero, so green sand starts pouring from the right-wall outlet; the gate reads 6 and the lower-left inlet turns white.
  9. Park the first green key receiver under the green outlet. At about 0:49 it clears, its key flies into the padlock, and the padlock reads 1 (gate 5). Swap in the second key receiver; it clears at about 0:43 and the padlock opens into a plain white receiver (gate 4).
  10. Spend the rest of the green on a green bar that clears at about 0:42 (gate 3), then finish another green bar and a tall yellow at the left inlet; the gate reads 1 at about 0:36 and the left inlet now runs red.
  11. Drag the white receiver to the lower-left white inlet. It shows 42% at about 0:29 and clears by 0:27; the glass gate shatters, the top pipe pours black and the lower-left inlet switches to purple.
  12. Finish the chain: two black bars under the top pipe clear by about 0:25, the red-rimmed purple 2x2 fills purple at the lower-left inlet (100% at 0:24) and then turns red, and the yellow-rimmed black L fills black (86% at 0:21) before turning yellow at the left inlet. The red pieces at the left red inlet and the last purple bar clear from 0:18 to 0:15, and the board is empty at 0:14.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Leaving a black or purple piece parked on the lower-left inlet during the first minute, which stalls all three counters because no blue receiver can fill.
  • Letting the side tank reach zero with the key receivers buried, so the green stream arrives before either key can be earned.
  • Treating the opened padlock as finished; it becomes a white receiver, and the glass gate on the top pipe only breaks after that white piece clears.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 392 (quick clues)

  • Every clear counts, so fast cheap clears on the blue inlet move all three counters at once.
  • Line up both green key receivers before the side tank reaches zero; the green stream starts at 0:55 and does not wait.
  • Once the padlock opens it is just a white receiver: drag it straight to the lower-left inlet, because that clear breaks the glass gate.

Layout
The level opens as a short strip of pieces under a large purple shutter (badge 4). The top row of that strip holds a yellow square, a blue bar and a white padlock piece marked 2; below it sit black and yellow bars, a purple 2x2, a red L and a black L, with blue, red, yellow, black and purple pieces packed along the bottom. A blue inlet enters the lower-left wall, and a green pipe on the right feeds a glass side tank reading 13. When the shutter lifts, an upper chamber appears with a glass gate reading 16 on the top pipe, a yellow inlet on the left wall, two green receivers stamped with key icons, and more purple, black, blue and yellow pieces.
Goal
Every clear knocks one off the shutter, the side tank and (once visible) the glass gate. Clear four blue pieces to lift the shutter, keep clearing until the tank hits zero and pours green, fill both key receivers to open the padlock, then send the freed white receiver to the white inlet so the glass gate breaks and the last black, purple, yellow and red pieces can finish.
Opening
The tall blue bar next to the lower-left blue inlet is already filling at 2:30 on the timer and clears a second later. Keep sliding blue pieces onto that inlet: the shutter reads 3 at 2:29, 2 at 2:26 and 1 at 2:11, and it lifts at 1:55 while the side tank reads 9.
Danger Zone
Only the pieces that touch an inlet ever fill, so the lower-left inlet cell has to stay reachable; a purple or black piece left parked there wastes the blue stream. After the tank opens, the green outlet on the right wall is the only source of green, so both key receivers need a clear path to it before the green runs out.
Mechanics
Shared clear counters (shutter 4, side tank 13, glass gate 16) that all tick on the same clears; a green tank that pours only when its count reaches zero; a movable padlock piece that needs two keys and then becomes a white receiver; inlets that change colour as the level advances (blue to white to purple at the lower left, yellow to red at the upper left); and two-stage pieces such as a black L with a yellow rim that turns yellow once its black layer is full.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What do the 4, 13 and 16 counters track?

They all count clears. The purple shutter lifts after four clears, the green side tank opens after thirteen, and the glass gate on the top pipe (visible once the shutter is gone) breaks when it runs out; every cleared receiver lowers each visible counter by one.

  • Why does the padlock show 2?

It needs two keys. Each green key receiver sends a key into it when it clears; the first drops the badge to 1 at about 0:49 and the second opens it at about 0:43, after which it acts as an ordinary white receiver.

  • Why did a piece change colour instead of disappearing?

Some pieces are two-stage. The yellow-rimmed black L fills with black first and then turns into a yellow receiver, and the red-rimmed purple square turns red after its purple layer fills; each needs both colours before it vanishes.
