Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 421 Walkthrough

expert 10 colors

Level 421 starts with a full-width green cover at 5, a central cyan hammer lane and a right crate at 5. Open the cover with compact clears, preserve the gap between the counted crates, then handle the red-to-white-orange feed and isolated blue-brown finish.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 421 — Full Solution

  1. Start with the small green and orange receivers directly below the green top cover. Keep the central cyan hammer L in its column so the next hammer-marked piece has a clear landing path.
  2. Clear the purple and red pieces that can be reached from the side pockets without crossing the central column. Let the top count settle rather than dragging a long receiver into the cover.
  3. When the green cover count has dropped from 5 and the gate opens around 2:16, use the newly exposed upper feed. The red counter on the upper-right feed should be visible at 3 during this phase.
  4. Work the cyan hammer receivers in the central vertical lane one at a time. Keep their hammer icons aligned with the lane and do not park an orange/brown bar across the next hammer footprint.
  5. Use the left crate lane while its visible count is 3 and the right crate lane while its count is 5. Clear the small receivers around each bay before moving the larger blue or orange pieces into the lower half.
  6. During the 1:46 red/purple phase, preserve the gap between the two crates. Feed the upper-right pieces first, then let the central blue and white receivers settle in their exposed footprints.
  7. When the feed changes to white and orange around 1:16, hold the large orange receiver under the upper centre until its visible progress reaches 100%. The purple receiver on the right can still be partially filled at about 71%.
  8. As the board thins, leave the blue L in the upper-left lane and the brown vertical in the central lane until the crate mouths are clear. The right crate should continue falling from 5 toward 2 without a cross-board drag.
  9. In the final seconds, clear the separated lower blue and brown receivers from their own side lanes. Avoid pulling either into the centre, where it can cover the last orange feed.
  10. Wait through the final settling pause around 0:19. The completion animation appears after the last receiver drains; no extra swipe is needed once the board is empty.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Pulling a long receiver across the central hammer column before the green cover has opened.
  • Parking an orange or brown bar between the counted crates and hiding a crate mouth.
  • Dragging the final blue or brown side receiver into the centre instead of letting it finish in its own lane.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 421 (quick clues)

  • Keep the cyan hammer column aligned and clear one hammer receiver at a time.
  • Preserve the gap between the two counted crates while their visible counts fall.
  • Leave the final blue and brown receivers in their side lanes instead of dragging them across the centre.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
A tall portrait board with a full-width green top cover starting at 5. Below it are a left green feed, a central cyan/blue L-shaped hammer receiver and a right orange/red counted crate starting at 5. A second counted crate appears on the left as the board opens; small orange, brown, white, green, purple, red and blue receivers pack the central column and both crate bays.
Goal
Use the small receivers and hammer-marked cyan pieces to open the green cover. Preserve the narrow central corridor between the counted crates while the red, purple, orange, white, blue and brown feed phases clear.
Opening
At 3:15, clear the small green and orange receivers below the green cover while keeping the cyan hammer L aligned in the centre. The cover opens around 2:16, and the upper-right red feed shows 3 during the newly exposed phase.
Danger Zone
The central vertical corridor is shared by the hammer receivers and both crate bays. A long orange or brown piece parked there can hide a crate mouth and stop the red-to-white feed. Keep the lower-left and lower-right landing cells free for the final blue and brown pieces.
Mechanics
A counted green cover opens through receiver clears, and cyan pieces with hammer icons identify the tool-driven central lane. The left and right crates count down independently. The upper feed changes from red and purple to white and orange before the final separated blue-brown cleanup.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What opens the green cover in Level 421?

The small receiver clears below it, together with the hammer-marked cyan lane. The cover starts at 5 and is open by about 2:16.

  • How should the two crates be handled?

Keep their lanes independent. The left crate is visible at 3 during the middle phase, the right crate starts at 5 and later falls toward 2.

  • What changes near the end?

The feed changes from red and purple to white and orange. Leave the final blue and brown receivers in their side lanes while the upper orange receiver finishes.
