Block Out level guide

Block Out Level 8 Walkthrough

medium 4 colors

Block Out Level 8 hides a huge red slab in the lower-right well. Work the green, white, and black mini-blocks through the top and right counters first, then use the opened corridor to finally move the red slab.

Board Notes

Layout
The board is L-shaped, with a large red rectangle filling the lower-right well. The top corridor is packed with green, white, and black mini-blocks, while the left wall holds a red gate and the top and right edges begin with counters marked `17` and `9`.
Goal
Reduce the upper corridor until the oversized red slab has a real route to the red exit.
Opening
Use the top-right white and black pair to start shrinking the right-side quota lane, then rotate the green mini-blocks through the upper corridor.
Danger Zone
The giant red slab looks important, but touching it too early only proves the route is still closed.
Mechanics
Level 8 is a boss-piece puzzle. Small corridor pieces do all the prep work before the oversized finisher gets a turn.

Quick Tips for Block Out Level 8 (spoiler-free)

  • The upper corridor matters more than the giant red slab at the start.
  • Keep the right-side meter falling while the top cap is also shrinking.
  • If the board feels stuck, look for the color with the cleanest path and use that to regain space.

How to Solve Block Out Level 8 — Full Solution

  1. Push the top-right white and black pair into the right-side quota lane to start shrinking the `9` meter.
  2. Rotate the upper green mini-blocks across the top corridor so the `17` cap and the right meter keep dropping together.
  3. Use the narrow center stem to pass the next white block downward and keep the upper-right column from refilling.
  4. Continue trimming the black-and-green cluster until the right column is almost empty and the side meter is nearly exhausted.
  5. Once the upper corridor opens, shift the remaining small pieces aside so the red slab has a clean vertical lane.
  6. Slide the large red rectangle upward and across toward the red exit on the left wall.
  7. Finish by feeding the last green mini-block through the top green finish after the quotas have fully cleared.
