Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 387 Walkthrough

expert 10 colors

Level 387 is a 6x5 board under a single chute at c3 that pours eleven layers in a fixed order: red, blue, pink, green, purple, orange, cyan, white, yellow, dark green and finally black. Every catch happens in the c3 column, so the level is really about ferrying the right receiver into row 1 before its layer arrives, while the dozen black receivers that clog the grid wait for the last layer.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 387 — Full Solution

  1. At about 2:10 on the timer the red upright at c3 r1-r3 fills from the chute; it reaches 100% and clears at about 2:09.
  2. Drag the blue cell from c6 r4 into the c3 column and lift it to c3 r1 as the blue layer arrives; it clears at about 2:03. Bring the second blue cell over from c6 r5 the same way; it reads 85% at about 1:57 and clears at about 1:56.
  3. Pink is next. Move the white L and the black cells aside to free a path, then walk the magenta bar up from c1-c2 r5 through rows 3 and 2 (about 1:49 to 1:42). Slide it under the chute at c2-c3 r1: 52% at about 1:36, cleared by 1:35.
  4. Green follows. Lift the green bar from row 4 to c1-c3 r1; it reads 22% at about 1:28, 93% at 1:27 and clears by 1:26.
  5. Park the black cells and white pieces around the edges. At about 1:17 the yellow-framed cage in the middle opens, revealing a purple bar, an orange upright and two cyan cells.
  6. Climb the purple bar up the middle (about 1:15 to 1:13) and set it at c3-c4 r1; it starts filling at about 1:12 and clears by 1:10. Park the yellow bar at c4-c5 r1 now; it will wait there for the yellow layer.
  7. Stand the orange upright at c3 r1-r3 for the orange layer; it fills from about 1:08 and clears at about 1:06. Then lift a cyan cell into c3 r1; it clears at about 1:04.
  8. White is a long layer. Catch it with the white bar at c2-c3 r1 (60% at about 1:02, cleared by 1:01), then the white upright at c3 r1-r2 (cleared at about 0:55), then a white L at c3-c4 r1-r2 (cleared at about 0:48), and finally the second white L, which reads 75% at about 0:35 and clears at about 0:34.
  9. Yellow arrives at about 0:35. Slide the waiting yellow bar left to c2-c3 r1: 25% at about 0:33, 93% at 0:32, cleared by 0:31.
  10. Dark green is next: bring the dark green upright up to c3 r1-r2 at about 0:31; it reads 93% at about 0:30 and clears at about 0:29.
  11. The last layer is black. Feed the black receivers into the c3 column one after another: a black bar (41% at about 0:29), two black Ls straddling c3 (the first clears at about 0:26, the second reads 100% at about 0:25), a black cell (100% at about 0:24), a black upright (100% at about 0:21), and a final black cell that reaches 100% at about 0:19, emptying the board.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Leaving a mismatched receiver in c3 r1 when the chute changes colour, so the new layer has no catcher.
  • Clearing a lane by pushing black cells into the c3 column; they block every catch before the black layer.
  • Using both white Ls too early. White pours for about thirty seconds and needs four separate catches.
  • Forgetting the yellow bar. Parking it at c4-c5 r1 early keeps it one slide away when yellow arrives.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 387 (quick clues)

  • Read the chute from the bottom up: the colour just above the one pouring is your next receiver.
  • Stage the next receiver one row below c3 r1 so it can slide up the moment the previous one clears.
  • Keep black cells out of the c3 column until the very end; they are the last receivers, not blockers to remove.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Six columns by five rows, with the chute entering above c3. Row 1: white bar c1-c2, red upright c3 r1-r3 directly under the chute, white L c4-c5 r1-r2, black cell c6. Rows 2-3: black cells at c1 and c4-c6, white upright c2 r2-r3. Row 4: green bar c1-c3, white L c4-c5 r4-r5, blue cell c6. Row 5: magenta bar c1-c2, second blue cell c6. A yellow-framed cage behind the middle cells hides more receivers until it opens.
Goal
Catch each layer as it reaches the bottom of the chute: red, two blues, pink, green, purple, orange, cyan, white (three white pieces), yellow, dark green, then fill the black receivers one after another. The board is empty with about 19 seconds left.
Opening
The red upright is already under the chute and clears at about 2:09 on the timer. Bring the blue cell from c6 r4 across into the c3 column; it clears at about 2:03, and the second blue from c6 r5 follows at about 1:56.
Danger Zone
The c3 column is the only drop point, so anything parked in c3 r1 that does not match the current layer stalls the chute. Black cells are scattered everywhere and have nowhere useful to go until the black layer, so shuffle them into the side columns instead of into row 1.
Mechanics
One layered chute with eleven colour changes, a yellow-framed cage in the middle that opens at about 1:17 to release purple, orange and cyan receivers, white L receivers that act as wide catchers, and a black finale that fills several black receivers in turn.

Frequently Asked Questions
