Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 390 Walkthrough

expert 9 colors

Level 390 carries the game's Super Hard label; on this board hammer-marked receivers smash the glass over the red (4) and yellow (9) reservoirs while a shared 10-clear strip counts down to a tray swap. The second half reveals black, gray and white receivers inside a gold frame, then teal-green and orange feeds, and the last brown receiver empties exactly as the timer reaches 0:00.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 390 — Full Solution

  1. At about 2:25 on the timer the strip reads 10, the red glass 4 and the yellow glass 9. Let the tall green hammer at c6 r1-r3 fill under the open green reservoir; at about 2:24 it clears and hammers drop red to 2, yellow to 7 and the strip to 8.
  2. Slide the small green hammer up into the same outlet. It clears at about 2:23: red 1, yellow 6, strip 7.
  3. Walk the second small green hammer along the top row to the green outlet. It reads 4% at about 2:11 and clears at 2:10, shattering the red glass and dropping yellow to 5.
  4. Red sand now pours on the left. Push the red hammer bars under it: one clears at about 2:09 (yellow 4) and another at 2:08 (yellow 3). The strip reads 4 by 2:07.
  5. Between about 2:07 and 1:26 there are no hammer pieces within reach of a live outlet. Shuffle the orange bars and the wide brown receiver out of the right-hand columns so the tall green hammer from the lower left can climb to the top-right green outlet.
  6. The tall green hammer reaches 92% at about 1:26 and clears at 1:25: yellow 2, strip 3. The green reservoir is now empty.
  7. Place a red hammer bar under the red outlet; it clears at about 1:21 (yellow 1, strip 2).
  8. Lift the tall red hammer from the bottom-left column into the red outlet. It reads 45% at about 1:13 and clears at 1:12, breaking the yellow glass; the red reservoir is spent and the strip reads 1.
  9. Catch yellow with the yellow hammer piece; at about 1:08 its hammers fly, the strip hits zero, and by 1:07 the tray shows white on the left, black on the right and the leftover yellow in the middle.
  10. Use the last yellow: a tall yellow bar clears at about 1:03, and a second tall yellow reaches 100% at about 0:57 and clears at 0:56.
  11. From about 0:56 to 0:38 drag every teal and orange piece out of the gold-framed box at the top of the board. At about 0:37 it shows its hidden pieces and at 0:36 black L receivers and gray and white squares drop in; black fills from the right reservoir (41% and 82% by 0:34), white from the left and gray from the middle, all finishing by about 0:27.
  12. The reservoirs refill with teal-green from about 0:33 and orange from about 0:26. Run teal bars and orange bars under them (orange bars clear around 0:22-0:10), then feed the last orange tall and teal pieces at about 0:07-0:03. The wide brown receiver goes under the middle outlet last; it shows 61% at 0:01 and the board is empty as the timer reaches 0:00.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Hauling the wide brown receiver up toward the outlets early; brown sand only arrives in the last seconds, so the piece just walls off the red and green outlets.
  • Blocking the right column during the long 2:07-1:26 stretch, so the tall green hammer never reaches the green outlet and the yellow glass stays at 3.
  • Leaving a teal or orange piece inside the gold frame, which keeps the black, gray and white receivers hidden while the timer keeps running.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 390 (quick clues)

  • Only hammer pieces damage the glass; plain orange and yellow bars are just filler until the late orange feed.
  • Plan the long climb of the tall green hammer early: it is the only way to crack yellow further after the red hammers are used.
  • Clear the gold frame completely; its black, gray and white receivers do not appear until it is empty.

Layout
Six columns under a tray of three reservoirs: red (glass, 4), pale yellow (glass, 9) and green (open from the start), with a strip above them reading 10. Many receivers carry a hammer icon: a tall green one at c6 r1-r3 directly under the green outlet, a small green at c5 r3, small greens at c1 r5 and c6 r5, a tall green at c2 r6-r9, red hammer bars at c3-c4 r3 and c3-c4 r7, a small red at c6 r4, a tall red at c1 r6-r9 and one yellow at c4 r8-r9. The rest of the board is plain orange and yellow bars plus a wide dark-brown receiver at c2-c5 r4-r5.
Goal
Fill hammer receivers from the open reservoirs to crack the glass: green hammers break the red glass, then red hammers finish the yellow glass. Each hammer clear also lowers the 10 strip; at zero the tray becomes white, gray and black reservoirs. Empty the gold-framed box near the top to release its black, gray and white receivers, then work the teal-green and orange refills and the final brown receiver.
Opening
The tall green hammer at c6 is already under the green outlet; it clears at about 2:24 and drops red to 2 and yellow to 7. A small green hammer at the same outlet takes them to 1 and 6 by 2:23, and a third green hammer breaks the red glass at about 2:10. Two red hammer bars follow at 2:09 and 2:08, leaving yellow at 3 and the strip at 4 by 2:07.
Danger Zone
From about 2:07 to 1:26 no reservoir can reach a hammer piece, so the whole stretch is spent sliding the tall green hammer from the bottom-left up to the green outlet at the top-right. Parking orange bars or the wide brown receiver across the right column blocks that climb and burns the clock. In the second half the gold frame only releases its pieces once every teal and orange piece has been moved out of it.
Mechanics
Hammer receivers that break glass on the red and yellow reservoirs; a shared strip counter that falls by one with each hammer clear and swaps the reservoirs at zero; a gold-framed box that reveals new black, gray and white receivers once emptied; reservoirs that refill with teal-green and orange late in the level.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What do the numbers on the glass mean?

They are hits left before the glass breaks. Filled hammer receivers throw hammers at them: red starts at 4 and breaks at about 2:10, yellow starts at 9 and breaks at about 1:12.

  • What is the 10 on the top strip?

A counter shared by the whole tray. It falls by one each time a hammer receiver clears, and when it reaches zero at about 1:07 the red, yellow and green reservoirs are replaced by white, gray and black ones.

  • How tight is the timer?

Very. The last brown receiver is still at 61% with one second left, and the board empties at 0:00, so every long shuffle has to be efficient.
