Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 391 Walkthrough
Level 391 lifts a one-count shutter in the first two seconds, then runs two feeds at once: a top-left hopper that pours orange, white, blue, purple and cyan over the course of the level, and a side funnel that switches from green to brown to yellow. Two crates marked 3 each hand out three hidden receivers, and the board empties at 0:50 on the timer.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 391 — Full Solution
- At about 2:55 on the timer the shutter reads 1. Leave the green L under the side funnel; it fills to 100% at 2:54 and the shutter lifts at 2:53.
- Put the flat orange bar under the hopper mouth. It clears at about 2:46 while the top pipe starts adding white sand above the orange.
- Feed the two small orange squares to the hopper next: one shows 100% at about 2:42 and the other climbs from 23% at 2:37 to 100% at 2:32.
- With the orange gone the hopper pours white. Slide the white squares and the white L into its mouth; they fill and clear between about 2:10 and 2:05, and the hopper colour turns blue.
- Pull the blue L out of the top-right crate and set it under the hopper. It shows 66% at about 1:51 and clears at 1:50; the crate badge drops to 2.
- Purple is next in the hopper: a purple bar shows 31% at about 1:48 and 100% at 1:47.
- Turn to the funnel. A green bar under it clears at about 1:34, and a tall green bar reaches 63% at 1:28 and clears at 1:27. The side pipe now carries brown sand.
- Send brown receivers to the funnel: a brown tall bar is at 100% by about 1:25 and the brown L from the top row clears at about 1:19. Right after, at 1:18, pull the second piece (another brown L) out of the top-right crate, dropping its badge to 1. Meanwhile a purple bar at the hopper runs from 14% to 100% between 1:10 and 1:08.
- Drag the blue tall bar out of the bottom-left crate (badge 2 at about 1:08) and put it under the hopper: 10% at 1:06, cleared at 1:05. The crate brown L goes under the funnel and clears at about 1:00 (51% at 1:01), and a small cyan square at the hopper clears at about 0:59.
- The funnel now pours yellow. A yellow bar clears at about 0:58 and a yellow L at 0:57; the yellow square from the top-right crate (emptied at 0:56) fills to 51% and clears at about 0:55.
- Pull the cyan L (bottom-left crate badge 1 at about 0:55) and then the purple 2x2 (crate empty at 0:53) out of the bottom-left crate. The purple 2x2 fills at the hopper around 0:52 and the cyan L reaches 61% at 0:51; the board is empty at 0:50.
Colors in this level:
Green, Orange, White, Blue, Purple, Cyan, Brown, Yellow
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Leaving a filled-but-unmatched receiver under the hopper when its colour changes; nothing else can reach that mouth until the piece is dragged away.
- Leaving the space in front of a crate blocked, so its next receiver never comes out and the yellow or purple sand has nowhere to go at the end.
- Letting the side funnel run with nothing under it during the green-to-brown-to-yellow changes, which wastes the only source of those colours.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 391 (quick clues)
- The shutter needs only one clear, and the green L is already under the funnel, so the first two seconds take care of themselves.
- Watch the colour of the sand actually spilling into the receiver under the hopper; the mix inside the hopper can hold two colours at once.
- Pull pieces out of both crates as soon as there is room; the last yellow and purple receivers of the level are inside them.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- At the start a purple shutter with badge 1 covers most of the board. Below it, a green pipe on the left wall fills a glass funnel that sits over a green L receiver, with a brown bar, white and cyan squares, a purple bar, a blue tall bar and a crate marked 3 in the bottom rows. Once the shutter lifts, the upper board shows a glass hopper at the top-left under the top pipe (holding orange sand), a brown L beside it, a second crate marked 3 at the top-right, and green, yellow, orange, purple, white and cyan receivers stacked down the left and centre.
- Goal
- Keep a matching receiver under the hopper mouth and another under the funnel mouth at all times. Each crate releases its next receiver when the front one is pulled out: the top-right crate gives a blue L, a brown L and a yellow square; the bottom-left crate gives a blue tall bar, a cyan L and a purple 2x2. The level ends when both crates are empty and every receiver has cleared.
- Opening
- The green L under the funnel is already filling and reaches 100% at about 2:54 on the timer; that single clear lifts the shutter at 2:53. The hopper then pours orange: an orange bar clears at about 2:46, a small orange square at 2:42 and another at 2:32, while the top pipe refills the hopper with white.
- Danger Zone
- The hopper and funnel pour whatever colour is at their mouth, and both change colour through the level, so a receiver parked under the wrong mouth blocks that feed. The crates only hand out their next receiver after the front one has been pulled clear, and the last pieces from both crates (yellow square, purple 2x2) are needed for the final yellow and purple sand.
- Mechanics
- One-count shutter; a top-left hopper whose sand changes as the top pipe switches colour (orange, white, blue, purple, cyan); a side funnel fed by a pipe that changes from green to brown to yellow; two crate dispensers with three receivers each, whose badges count down as pieces are pulled out.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do the two badges marked 3 mean?
They are crates holding three receivers each. Pulling the front receiver out drops the badge by one. The top-right crate gives a blue L, a brown L and a yellow square; the bottom-left crate gives a blue tall bar, a cyan L and a purple 2x2.
Why does the shutter open so fast?
Its badge is 1 and the green L below the funnel is already filling at the start, so the first clear at about 2:54 on the timer lifts it.
What order do the colours arrive in?
From the hopper: orange first, then white, then blue and purple (the hopper holds both for a while), then cyan, with the last purple coming out at about 0:52. From the side funnel: green, then brown from about 1:27, then yellow from about 0:58.
